With different tax rates and taxes TaxAssist, developed by I.B.I.S., Inc., is a product which will 'plug-into' Dynamics GP and AX and act as a go-between the Vertex Q Series product and the Microsoft Dynamics application.
TaxAssist enables data to be reliably transferred from Sales Tax Q Series to Dynamics and determine the correct tax rate by searching its databases for exceptions, jurisdiction, and current tax rate. TaxAssist then enables Sales Tax Q Series to calculate the correct tax amount and passes this information back to the Microsoft Dynamics application. The transaction data is stored in a register database and used for the preparation of tax returns and the creation of audit and management reports.
