This hotel is very ideal to stay in Dontonbori area. The room is clean and hotel is very good for shopping and eating places. My big thanks Ms Sakura and Mr/Ms Yoshimasa for the assistance that had been given prior and while we stay in the hotel.
when check in, i am did not get compliment free upgrade for my accorplus platinum. rooms need to refurbished. room heater not working and toilet heater also not working. i am request for changing room cause room got noise. the only good things for this hotel is superb location
Good location!!! Spacious room and grateful for the hairdryer! A bit noisy at night, but otherwise still bearable. It would have been better if there was a safe in the room and if bottled water could have been provided. The shower was a bit challenging using the tap as the water can turn too warm suddenly. In addition, the breakfast was good, but quite crowded from 7 to 8am so need to wait a while before entering. Thank you for the service ibis Styles Osaka!
This hotel makes me comfort, i must get back to this hotel again. Very recomended to stay in here, the breakfast very ouwsome and the staff is very friendly.. the room very clean and very comfort, near to every where..
I would strongly recommend this hotel for its location and ease of almost everything within its reach - food, places and transportation. Rooms are decent and staffs are excellent. I would definitely stay again n my next visit. One note - when selling 4 beds rooms with breakfast, I would have taken that it means all 4 pax will get breakfast, not only 2 and then charge another 2 separately for it. It does not make sense nor was it detailed when we make bookings for the 4 single bed rooms.
It was situated behind a bustling street in Dotonbori. Easy access to food and shopping but a good 10-15min walk away from Namba station. Namba station is huge and can be really intimidating if you do not get your bearing right. Not recommended if you have older or young travellers with you as you have to wheel your luggage through the throngs of people and streets. The family room consisted of 4 beds and a sofa set, which was very spacious for a family of 5. The bathroom was new and clean. The WC and shower area are all separated by doors in the bathroom (3 doors in total). Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, as well as toothbrushes, toothpaste and combs were all provided. However, housekeeping wasn't up to standard. The cups weren't washed after the first day. There were glass bottles and litter found under the bed and I wonder how long they have been left there. Although the trash bin was cleared, we found pieces of litter strewn around the area, not vacuumed even after the 3rd day. There is a kettle and tea provided, but no coffee or bottled water. Wifi is good enough and thankfully there is a 7-11 downstairs. Breakfast was reasonable but be prepared to join the snake queue every morning and wait about 10-15 minutes for a table. Variety of food and beverages was adequate and there was a great view from the cafe. On my return trip to Osaka two nights later, we stayed in superior rooms facing the main street. Compared to the family room, these rooms were small, with hardly any space for your luggage or walking space. The toilet was old and run-down, compared to the one in the family room. There was no air-con available as the heater was turned on during winter. Had to open the window for cooler air but the noise downstairs was terrible. The bars and entertainment joints downstairs seem to be full of people partying throughout the night, even until 5am. It was so on weekdays (as our other family members stayed in similar room earlier) and worse on weekends. You can hear the cheering, shouting and singing even if you are on the 12th floor, with the windows open. Overall, I was happy with the family room but not the superior room.
The location is good as it is located very near the heart of namba. although it is still a 10 min walk from namba station. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is good but be sure to go early to avoid long lines getting in.
Very near restaurants and shopping area :-) They offer free coffee at the lobby. Rooms are very much nicer and more spacious. Previously stayed at Namba Oriental Hotel. Breakfast is included but is just ok. Staff at breakfast buffet are VERY courteous :-)
Excellent location. Right outside is the shopping and eating capital of Osaka. The hotel room was quite small though. Felt very tight to move around and get comfortable. The beds were very small and very hard to get used to. I was in a twin bedroom, so maybe that's why. Another good point was that the hotel was just across the street to the international airport shuttle bus which was super convenient on our last day. So definitely recommend this place.
Location- it's convenience and within 10 mins waking distance to subway, 5 mins to Shinsaibashi. But beware the night club around the area. Room size- normal Japanese hotel. It's not good enough when traveling with baby as I have suitcases + baby stroller. Staff - Not really feel 'Welcome' during the check-in process.
1. Friendly and helpful staff 2. Nice location 3. There are only 4 washing machines and dryers for all hotel guests and it is not enough 4. The power of the room had been cut out when we used boiler and hair dryer at the same time. Hotel need to review the loading of electric power
I think this is just refurbish hotel, I can't see anything representing a new hotel. Staff is polite but not kind enough, does not sense to have warm feeling to the hotel Bed is small, much smaller than a normal size single bed.
The location is good as underground station is nearby the hotel. It is directly access to Kyoto, Nara and Kansai international airport. Also the breakfast provided is good, sufficient and delicious. The room is sufficient for 4 of us. It fits a family.
Prime location with very convenience. Standard Japanese Hotel size. clean and good breakfast (good view from the restaurant about the whole Osaka view. Recommend to stay if you are looking for easy access to the Dotubori and the shopping areas.
Following the directions of the hotel reservations officer, I found the hotel from Exit 5 of the Nippombashi Station since it has a lift for travelers with luggage. The hotel is right in the middle of a shopping haven -- a stone's throw to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori -- a perfect location for shopaholics. Check in and out was a breeze. Elevators are efficient and have provisions for safety of occupants with a keycard mechanism prior to use. Although quite rundown, the Housekeeping people do manage to keep the premises as clean as possible. Also commendable are the staff of Osaka Kitchen who are constantly up on their toes to ensure that diners are well-seated and served adequately. Le Club members can also enjoy free coffee in the lobby as desired. The next chance I get to go back to Osaka, I will definitely choose to stay at the Ibis Styles Osaka.
Satisfactory and met our expectations. Good location and service. Near tourist spots, stores and restaurants although a bit far from the subway stations. Room is small but clean. Breakfast is ok but lacking in variety.
Very good location if you arrive from KIX Airport, the Airportexpress stops next to the Hotel. Clean room, friendly reception staff, good breakfast in the highest floor restaurant. Room was very big for Japan!
Very well located right in the Namba area, five minutes walk from the subway and fifteen from the Nankai Namba train station with direct link to Kansai airport. Nice and comfortable room, but not in-safe room to keep your valuables. Good breakfast with several options for westerners, nice views of Osaka from the breakfast area. Very helpful and nice staff.
The hotel is conveniently located not far from Osaka main stations. From Nankai Airport Train Station, it is only around 800m, with most of the walk is under covered road with ceiling; no need to worry about light rain or sun. :) As Gold Member, room was upgraded nicely. The room was not big, but also not too small. Well, this is Japan, we can understand the room size. :) Service was great. My luggage that was sent out by Ibis Styles Kyoto Station using Takyubin service was already received and stored nicely. Definitely will return to this hotel in case I travel back to Osaka. Potential Improvement: I only received bottled water for the first day, afterwards i didn't receive it again. Better to have it replenished on daily basis, the same as I received in Ibis Styles Kyoto Station.
Thiroughly enjoyed stay in Ibis Style Osaka. It was initially difficult to find the place, but once you become familiar with the area, it is in the middle or around the shops and restaurants. We will definitely select this hotel next time we visit Osaka.
