The hotel is new, clean and comfy. They serve great breakfast buffet too. The only hind side is the location. You will need a taxi service to reach Nogaya Hill Shopping Centre. It would be great if they can provide free shuttle service to and fro Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre. Overall, was very satisfied with the hotel.



Used to be good when it's newly opened earlier in the year. But recently the quality is gone south. There were a couple of flies in the room... Big one. I have to kill them myself. There were stains on the pillow case as well. I think ibis batam have to put in more effort. Cleanliness and hygiene is fundamental.



Service was almost zero to none. Host at the restaurant was always on her phone and does not even acknowledge guest. The bed in the room was really comfortable though! We really liked the style of the room too. However, the aircon in the room was never cold enough, even after the maintenance guy came to look at it. The hot water in the room is also very inconsistent.



Booked 3D2N with redemption of points. Check-in was not fast, took a while to do the point deduction, and reception almost forgot to return us the change in cash. We also didn't receive info on wifi login, breakfast, free dining voucher upon check in. Design and comfort were good, though husband complained it was quite dusty. We saw the pool water was really .. unusable, but I guess the staff knew better and cleaned up right before the surge of guests arrived. Breakfast spread was splendid, had my favourite bubur ayam! Lots of local and international spread, extremely value for money. Just to add, room service was reasonably priced and very yummy too. You just need to get hold of the menu (not in the room, so just call). Shuttle bus was convenient but we wished there was a return ride for the 6pm slot. Perhaps next visit? ;) Lift is by touch activation, instead of usual button. Took us a while to figure THE way to touch.



Room was huge separated with a living area, 2 queen beds, huge bathroom with a bathtub and a super big balcony! The shower gel & shampoo provided smells really good, me and my girlfriends love it! Breakfast spread was good but the coffee from the coffee machine was diluted. Had double portion of their Mee Rebus, it was really good. Did the Massage with body scrub after breakfast and it was really good. I check-out the hotel with baby skin. Haha The only bad thing is we heard a man chanting/screaming, voice came from outside of the balcony at around 4am. It was scary! We dare not open our eyes and waited almost 30mins before everything went peaceful again. We checked with the reception the next morning asking if people do their prayers at 4am and they advise that they usually don't. That left our brains go wild with imagination...

the environment not bad but far away from town. Breakfast not too bad., there is one dish black glutinous rice did not wash properly alot of sand inform staff seems like staff don't bother, ALa CAT dish manual there is not much variety.



Hotel looks nice maybe because its still new. But there are some shortcomings that I felt like there is no tissues paper in the toilet and I had to asked, the floor looks not cleaned on the 2nd day, the coffee powder was still on the shelf for drinks, the compliments water were not in the room too on the 2nd day and I had to ask the receptionist.



For a start, I got a complimentary upgrade without even asking for one although being a gold card member I could have done so. I have stayed in Ibis styles/Ibis in Malaysia, Indonesia and China but this in Batam probably the best in term of hotel facilities are concern. Good Variety of choices too for breakfast.
