The hotel was modern and clean....the breakfast was excellent, staff good.... The only think that could have been made more clearer was that the car park was cheaper with a ticket from the hotel...unless we hadn't asked we would not have known that the bill was reduced from £22 to £7....our friends from Germany were Not told either!!!!

Calm, clean, great location (Glasgow Centre, airport shuttle, central station, subway within short walk). Simple, but tasty breakfast. Helpful staff. Room quite small, just right for a short stay. Comfortable bad.

Plenty of room to move around, comfy bed, good shower, thick towels, excellent breakfast, everything very clean and tidy. Staff attentive and friendly, but not intrusive. Controllable heating/air con. Note to maintenance - room 517 could use some oil on the door hinges!

I would definitely stay again. I chose this hotel due to its central location in Glasgow. As I arrived I was greeted by a very helpful member of staff who welcomed me to the hotel and told me things to do in the area. I arrived in the room where two tunnocks tea cakes and two bottles of irn bru and a welcoming note addressed to me. Made me feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable and a 12pm check out was great as we where out until 3am. Would definitely stay again.

City centre situation was excellent and we had NCP parking nearby at a preferential rate. We had to leave early before breakfast but we were given a take away breakfast that was ideal. As usual the Ibis Styles bedroom was great and I loved the decorative touches representing Glasgow

Very good location, clean, Breakfast was very good, overall the hotel was excellent. In a very good part of Glasgow, very close to everything, staff at the hotel where very helpful, the rooms where clean.

Very nice and friendly hotel first class staff clean comfortable rooms nice buffet breakfast. Very handy for lots of shops bars restaurants. Tea coffee juice cakes and fresh fruit on offer at all times no extra charge.

I don't often review hotels, but our stay here was an absolute dream. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and well-furnished and the continental breakfast/non-stop croissant and coffee buffet was a bonus. I'd mentioned that it was my partner's 30th birthday so we were surprised with a really lovely little basket of treats in the room (posh crisps, lager, wine, smellies and the tunnocks teacakes/irn bru that are standard in rooms). I loved the cheeky Glaswegian humour in the decoration throughout the hotel. We'd definitely stay again next time we're in Glasgow.

stylish hotel that shows the character of Glasgow, lovely personal touch from hardworking staff who would go the extra-mile for guests. Great location as transport links are very close by and shops are only a few minutes walk, with great restaurants effectively right next door. I see a few complaints about breakfast as it is not cooked but that is clearly stated and breakfast was lovely, very comfy pillows and bed. I travelled down for a funeral and fortunately was not caused any distress at all with hotel, and they kindly looked after our bags after checkout until it was time for our bus. Would recommend!

We picked this hotel so that we were close to the central and queen st stations. It was spotlessly clean, the rooms were really comfy and staff really friendly. Great value for money and near all the bars an restaurants.

The Ibis Styles in Miller Street in the heart of the Merchant City, was a very convenient location, especially when arriving by train. Our room on the 8th floor was compact and had no view of the city but it was fine for 3 days. The technology for the lift took a little time to get used to and the A/C was a bit noisy.

Another great stay at this gem in the centre of Glasgow. We were visiting for an event at the Royal Concert Hall and the location of the hotel is so convenient - great for the theatre, shopping and restaurants. Well designed rooms for both business and leisure travellers and exceptionally friendly staff. Absolutely no noise in the rooms, a great sleep followed by a great breakfast (continental). This is our "go to" place for central Glasgow.

The little touches which make all the difference and show the true character of Glasgow.. Humour, warmth and friendliness. Very clean and exceptionally quiet for a city centre hotel with excellent bars and restaurants next door

The hotel is well situated between George's Square and the main high street. There are a few bars and restaurants next door to the hotel which all appeared to be high end establishments. We ate at the Spiritualist and would highly recommended it to others. The hotel rooms are small but modern and well equipped. The continental buffet breakfast was again small but had a good variety of foods. No hot breakfast but staff walked round with sausage sandwiches which was a nice touch. Staff very polite and helpful. Lovely hotel for a long weekend break to explore Glasgow from.

My parents visited me in Glasgow: the hotel was in a perfect location, in the city centre and close to shops, train stations and a post office. The service was great and the staff was lovely. Would recommend ☺

Ideal location for train station and excellent bars and restaurants nearby ,we were made welcome on arrival and could not fault the service, rooms spotless would recommend this for an overnight stay looking forward to our next visit

I would highly recommend this Hotel for its Location, Cleanliness, Comfort, Stylish Rooms and very helpful and caring staff. I would also like to thank Management for the kind gift that was delivered to our room, this made our stay feel extra special and I will deffinately be booking again in the near future. Many Thanks

Excellent location in the city centre, close to restaurants, shops & station. Staff very welcoming and helpful. The room and en-suite was spotless. Good variety for breakfast. Overall very good value for money.

It's not often you walk into a newish hotel and find the characterless pseudo modern decor comforting but my experience at the ibis hotel was homely, friendly and a joy. All the staff were a pleasure, they were all very personable, I enjoyed my continental breakfast and the facicilities in my room were more than satisfactory.

We arrived Friday lunchtime, early for check in but we were warmly welcomed at reception and told our room was ready... thank you to - sorry did not get her name- but what a wonderful rep for the Ibis Styles brand, so good to see a warm, friendly, smiling face at a hotel reception. Checked in to room 809 - wonderful room with fantastic views over Glasgow. We had mentioned at check in that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, when we went back to our room in the evening we found an amazing hamper for us to celebrate and a very wonderful hand written celebration card... THANK YOU to all at Ibis Styles Glasgow, what a team you are and we most certainly look forward to returning very soon:)

Hotel design

Style meets substance, with bold design features and subtle touches combining to echo the city's own intricacies. The carpet detail comes alive with quotations from the local shipyard workers and each floor has a colour theme that is reflected throughout every bedroom. Stencilled crane illustrations feature on the bathroom mirrors and on the bedroom walls giving the impression the TVs are suspended from a height. Digital print headboards featuring iconic images of the city frame the entire room and traffic cone lights ensure one night's stay in this hotel will make you feel as if you have soaked in Glasgow's many highlights.

A city where visitors are welcomed with a warm hug, a wee dram and a supply of banter that will keep them on their toes, Glasgow's sense of humour seeps into the walls and fabrics of the hotel. In fact, if you look carefully, you'll spot more than a few wry icons of the city surrounding your stay - from the Duke of Wellington statue sporting the obligatory traffic cone atop his head, to local hero Billy Connolly's outrageous big banana boots and killer one liners. Add to that several definite nods to Glasgow's proud industrial past - from the cranes that still stand sentinel over the city to the rivets, timber and steel of the shipyards.

Visitors to Scotland's largest city could have no better introduction to Glasgow than ibis Styles. It has pulled out all the stops to transport Glasgow into the hotel itself, making it the perfect partner for your journey. World renowned Glaswegian architect, designer and artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh's beloved rose emblems weave their way through the carpets, while his unmistakable lines and angles seep into side tables, reminding guests of the artistic flair that lights up Glasgow. Kick back, relax and enjoy the fun filled personality that radiates from this dynamic, Glasgow-inspired hotel, after a day of exploring the great city itself.
