I spent three nights here, attracted by the location - it was handy for an event I was attending. But it wasn't a comfortable hotel. My room was very small, and there wasn't even a chair in the room, so nowhere to sit and get some work done. and there were lots of plumbing noises, so I was woken by six a.m. every morning I also found the room very dark. It had opaque glass in the window, so no outside view. And the outside of the window was caked in pigeon poo, which made the whole room feel dirty and dingy. Next time I attend an even near here, I'll choose a different hotel On the plus side, the staff on reception were always friendly and helpful

Price reasonable in terms of London prices but I only had a small room with single bed and tiny en-suite. Heater in bathroom did not work so was freezing in there. Also the room felt a little grubby and getting shabby, could do with a good clean and touch up. The hairdryer kept cutting out due to overheating, it was the cheapest one you can buy from Argos, so drying my hair took ages. Hotel easy to get lost in, signage for lifts and stairs are very poor and lacking. Quite a few rooms have extra sets of stairs up or down to them so if you have mobility problems make the hotel aware. Breakfast is basic, simple continental - nothing too fancy but nice to have it included in the price. Thought check in was 12 but not allowed to check in until after 2 which was a little bit of a nuisance. Hotel is only couple minutes walk from Earls Court tube which is good. Not the best hotel I have stayed in but not the worst either hence the average scoring.

Hotel is very well located nearby public transport and restaurants. Hotel personnel is doing a great job and we had great assistance and follow-up concerning the heating of the room. Room was quite tiny yet it served us very well. Good breakfast. Quite neighborhood. One can have a good night sleep despite poor noise insulation of the hotel rooms. Excellent ratio of service quality and price!

The place is near the earls court station so it is very accesible . The staff are very friendly and nice . The room is a bit smaller and there is no cabinet but at least there is some hangers to hang our clothes

Great place to stay in Earl’s Court. Very modern & cosy. On that day I could not access my room with my key and had to ask the receptionist to open the room every time. It would have been worth a discount.

Ibis Styles Kensington is conveniently located near to Earls Court tube station. It is very handy for the Royal Albert Hall, a 25 minute walk away. Nice pub located just round the back too. Rooms are cosy but comfortable. Buffet breakfast, continental style is ok.

The room and shower room were compact but adequate for a short stay. A non cooked breakfast was free - with a variety of cereals, fruit, ham, cheese, salad, croissants, and toast. With fruit juice and hot drinks machines. Breakfast was from 6.30 - 9.30. Everything was kept toppe up by the staff. Everywhere was clean. The staff friendly and helpful.

I stayed here for 3 nights recently and really appreciated the great location...the Earls Court tube is a couple of minutes away as are plenty of shops and eateries and there are large supermarkets within walking distance in all directions. High St Kensington is also easily walkable. We arrived early after a 2 day flight from NZ, and the reception staff were really accommodating, getting us in to a room early so we could crash. Like other reviewers, we did find the reception staff confused about check-in time...Our reservation confirmation clearly said 12pm but the staff insisted it was 2pm. Some work there for the owner to do in clarifying that I think. So, everything pretty much went downhill from there. The accommodation is hostel-esque with poor maintenance, and shabby surrounds but not in a chic way! The windows are old and don't close properly so we had a cold wind whistling around the room and as there is no double glazing, all the street noise entered our room unfiltered. There are few amenities provided and like others, I was caught out by the fact that it's not until you check in that you find out the included breakfast is continental only. As someone who can't eat wheat this meant me having to go out for breakfast each morning. I think the website should be revised to reflect the reality of what you're paying for. I use Ibis hotels reasonably regularly and this is the first time I've booked an Ibis styles. I think I can say with some confidence it will be my last. I expected a similar standard to Ibis and Novotel in terms of modernity and cleanliness and was left sorely disappointed. It's a bit of blight on the Accor name I think. I'd say stay here if you want to relive your student flatting days!!!

Very close to underground station and the location is not too far away from downtown. Room is clean and tidy. However when I arrived, I found that my TV and hairdryer were not working. I can even see the wire inside the hairdryer. They sent someone to fix the TV and gave me a new hairdryer, it’s working but again I could see the wire again coz the outer layer was torn. They really should take extra care on these electronic appliances.

Love the location easy walk form Tube station and then we had a 20 min walk to the Royal Albert Hall in the evening and walked back after the concert through a safe neighbourhood. The room is simple and neat , tight on space but we were only stopping one night. The breakfast was very good for London hotels a good deal for a cooked breakfast which set us up for the day of Christmas shopping. It was exactly what we needed for this stay, great value and great location. Would use it again for short stay.

Good little hotel - easy to find (just two minutes from Earl's Court tube) and decorated in a quirky style. Rooms were typical of Ibis. But the real asset of the place are the staff, who are attentive and they smile a lot!

We arrived early and went to check in and leave our bag, all was good booking checked, bag left so off went. This wasn't the same when we returned calls that evening, the rude receptionist said my booking was cancelled but couldn't explain how I had managed to leave a bag. Eventually he said he would do me a favour and let me have their last room which was awful and not what I booked. Disaster of a stay.

Great location with only let down being the hairs and nail clippings on bed on arrival! Not the cleanest room I have ever stayed in tbh. Breakfast was ok and overall well worth the money due again to access to tube. Safe area as well

The hotel is very well located and surrounded by nice restaurants. The hotel cleanliness and services are outstanding. I will certainly recommend (have already recommended!) the hotel to friends and acquaintances.

Great little hotel - Clean & trendy - rooms are small but if you are hitting London and just need a bed for the night perfect. Limited parking so perfect for those using the tube. Only 3mins walk from the Tube plenty of nice bars / places to eat too. Continental breakfast Good considering.

Located close to the Earls Court Tube station with good options for travel and amid a good range of places to eat. As with most Ibis Styles the rooms feature some good art work and are in immaculate condition

Small room, but OK as not staying in it long. Bed was nice but the air conditioning made a dreadful racket every hour or so and kept waking us up. Bathroom small but manageable. Smelt of drains from the shower.

Overall ok and in a very good location for tube etc. Main comment was the temperature in our room which was impossible to cool to a reasonable degree. We were on the fourth floor which probably didn't help.

Needs a few hooks for coats and towels. The tiny hanging space is too shallow to hang a dress and was right over the kettle. Incidentally when bothTea and coffee offered 2 tubs milk poor . The toilet stank of sewage and made for a very unpleasant night.... Just needs a few inexpensive tweaks. Staff fine and made them aware of v.poor toilet smells.

The room was exceedingly small for a double. There was no wardrobe, just a rail to hang clothes but this was above the kettle/drinks tray. The air con did not work properly and the window did not open further than 2 inches so we were sweltering when in the room. The hot and cold sink taps operated the wrong way round. The soap dispenser was leaking soap all over the sink. The toilet was too cramped against the wall with the towel rail above and the towels hanging down over it. one of the bedside lights did not work. The stairs were very hard to find.
