The biggest advantage of this hotel certainly is its location. Close proximity to Earls Court Tube Station and lots of eateries and restaurants around the hotel. Walking distance to mayor museums.
The rooms very much vary in standard, so its a 'hit or miss'. Some of the rooms are sub standard and not acceptable in particular the bathrooms are problematic. As an Accor Gold member, I would have expected to be automatically assigned to one of the more decent rooms, however this was not the case. Only once rejecting a room and a supervisor got involved an acceptable solution could be found. Most of the staff at reception seems to have very little knowledge about Accor procedures. Also when enquiring about booking a taxi the night before departure, wrong information was given. It appeared on the morning of departure, that the hotel seems to work only with a private transport operator which charges significantly more than the regular taxis do.
If it wouldn't be for the location, the hotel could not be recommended and is ranging considerably below the standard of other Ibis Styles Hotels.
