Overall a good value and comfortable stay. Breakfast ok but not the best. Restaurant closed for evening meal but alternatives available nearby. No hot water in room until the following morning part way through shower!

We are regular travelers through France and Chartres is a convenient place to stop. This hotel offers a comfortable stop off with a selection of restaurants on the same estate. The inclusive breakfast was excellent as was the service from the staff. No lift at the property

We have stayed in this hotel several times, this is due to the location being halfway between our property in France and Calais. We have always received a friendly welcome, the rooms are always clean and include a walk in shower. The hotel restaurant is only open Monday to Friday having said that there is a choice of places to eat within a 200m walk (McDonalds, Hippopotamus and a Poirve Rouge). The breakfast is included in the room rate.

Good value for money. Nice coffee station to serve yourself. Lovely sweetie bar, hard to resist! Good choice at buffet breakfast. Friendly, charming service. Secure car park reassuring. Would recommend to other travellers and stay again.

Great hotel The staff are brilliant also they have the best cup of tea of any hotel I've been in !! The only niggle I have a problem with pillows One is not enough Two is too many but that's in every hotel

I attepted to book for the 22/04.17, fo 1 night for 2 people. Hpweverr between filling the dates, room and 2 people, something happened and I got booked in for the09/04/17, that day I made the booking. I failed to check the email date and it has cost me a no show cost for 1 person for 1 room.

The Ibis Styles in Chartres is very accessible from the ring road and very well double glazed so no road noise. It has its own restaurant and is on a site which includes other restaurants, including fast food if that is your taste. We received a warm welcome. At the entrance are free hot drinks available 24/7 alongside an IT play area for children and a WIFI point with computer. There is a bar. Rooms have been done up and are clean and warm with air conditioning. The bed is extremely comfortable. Shower room has liquid soap provided and plenty of hot water and towels. Hair dryer provided in shower room. Staff very helpful and courteous.

We have stayed in this hotel four times over the last ten years. In 2014 it had a complete makeover and now has modernised rooms and facilities. However, it retains the very helpful staff and great service we are used to. Parking is free and secure, wifi is free and, like all Ibis hotels, the breakfast is great, including the fresh orange juice squeezer. This is not the most picturesque location, being near an AutoRoute junction but, if you are driving down through France, it is a very convenient place to stop after the traffic madness of Paris. It is very close to Chartres which is well worth a visit. We have been watching the restoration of the Cathedral to the mediaeval polychrome over the last 10 years. Restaurants and bars in Chartres are very varied and very good.

We were warmly received during check in. Nice resturant for lunch and dinner with something for all testy buds. The hotel is very clean and it a good location to do day trips to surrounding sights. Don't miss the light show from April 8 thru Oct 8 at Chartes Cathedral. There is are numerous illumination shows in Chartes

This Ibis Styles is a bit disappointing compared with some others. It seems to me that it has been upgraded froma standard Ibis, while some others I have stayed in were former Mercure Hotels, and it shows in the smaller rooms. However on the bright side, the beds are wonderfully comfortable, the breakfasts are excellent as in all ibis Styles I have stayed in (not least the abilty to serve oneself delicious coffee from beans ground on the spot, and juice from oranges which are squeezed on the spot - and there are delicious mini croissants and breads), and the personnel are cheerful, friendly and helpful. Had the hotel not seemed to be a little tired I would have awarded an extra star.

This hotel's location provided a comfortable over-night stop on our way to Spain. We have always been very satisfied with Accor hotels and this was no exception. We found the staff to be particularly accommodating. Even arranging booking our following night's stay at another Accor hotel in Toulouse.

We stayed at this hotel as it makes an ideal stopover on our way down to South West France. We prefer to miss Paris and travel via Rouen. We cross the channel and can get to Chartres for 7pm. We are then an easy drive to the autoroute the following day to complete our journey.

Pleasant overnight stop spoiled by water noisily running through the air on system which in February was not in use. A pleasingly rapid response from the manager over this is encouraging. Nice meal in the evening and a good breakfast.

This is the first ime we have stayed at an Ibis Styles hotel, and I would recommend this hotel to others planning to stay in the Chartres area. The welcome from the receptionist was excellent, even offering to help us to take our luggage to our room. The bedroom itself was spotlessly clean, and the bed itself was as comfortable as can be. The only downside to our stay was the restaurant being closed, but restaurants were available close by.

This Ibis Styles hotel is well maintained, comfortable beds and the food in the restaurant was fine. One drawback is that the hotel backs onto a railway line with freight trains going to a nearby cement works through the night , and there's a nearby main road with heavy traffic all night.

Very helpful and pleasant staff at hotel which was appreciated after a long drive. Good facilities and breakfast, would use this stop again. Useful stop on route to the south as it is so close to the A10 and on the way from Calais.

We stayed here on our way back from holiday, the hotel is well placed wit plenty of food choices nearby. The room although small was well furnished and well planned. The breakfast was good and i would happily stay here again

Needed a hotel for a stopover from UK to South of France, this was the ideal area for the stop. Having used Ibis before it seemed best place to stay and we were not disappointed. Rooms were in good condition, good space and well equipped. Ate both dinner and breakfast before departing early. Food was good quality, tasty and well presented. Waitress was very helpful. When I say waitress she also checked us in and served us at the bar. She worked hard, always smiled and was a credit to the company. Wish I had gotten her name to put on here.

Good hotel, rooms good, particularly the excellent shower bathroom. Good breakfast and pleasant service from the hotel staff. Have already recommended this hotel to friends for an overnight stay on the drive back to the UK for a family funeral.

Hotel design

Goodbye partitions, hello open space! Generous volumes, large an artist's loft. As for the décor: fifties-style armchairs and sofas, a mix of wood and metal... it's all there. You let yourself get swept away. Hungry? Head for the restaurant. Dig in and enjoy the rock n' roll atmosphere: a map of New York City, industrial hanging lamps...very arty! Now, time to top things off with a cocktail. Make a beeline for the bar. In the soft glow of old neon signs, head-to-head with the Statue of Liberty, you make a toast. New York may be the city that never sleeps, but you do! Tucked into a big, comfy bed, the evening reaches its end.

In the original hotel? Wood everywhere. Ski chalet ambiance. Rustic, yes, but top-quality materials. Folding the old into the new...that's what the designer was aiming for. Drawing inspiration from the source, the décor now has a new outlook: raw materials, neutral tones... welcome to the artist's studio! In this New York-style loft, you'll make the most of your stay.

A welcoming staff. A stylish setting. After a day of visiting the town, or on a business stopover, a welcome break. A night in New York at the gates of Chartres...Frankly, what could be better?
