Great hotel , quite new and nice rooms. They should improve the breakfast service. It has a tran station just in front of the hotel and you can go to city center using D line and it tooks no more than 20 minutes.
Was not able to have any fresh orange juice for 3 consecutive mornings for breakfast (no oranges on day 1, machine not switched on day 2, day 3 did not bother to ask...).🙄 Also, what happened to the lollipops in the room?😱
We stayed there in february. It was impossible to get the room warm in spite of a long study how the air-conditioner works. The garage was €8, quite impossible to park for free in the streets. Breakfast was frugal to say the least. The room was very small. The free drink, silver card, was the usual stingy one only in spite of being two persons.
So simple to find in the suburb of Neudorf, a tram stop just a few steps away from the front door - but an easy walk into the centre if you want to stretch your legs. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful, breakfast was adequate. For a stay of a couple of days it was perfect. We also found a decent restaurant about 5 minutes away on Av Jean Jaure, the Schutzenbock,
Very friendly staff, very calm and quiet, very clean and comfortably arranged. Good restaurant with cooked food made on the spot, not just defrosted and put into the microwave. The room was equipped with comfortable furniture and the bathhroom was also very roomy and equipped with a hairdryer.
Brand new hotel, great facilities - bathroom, bedding, large flat TV. Very convenient location as tram-stop is right in front - direct connecting to city center, walking distance to all tourist places around old town.
It was a really nice stay in a very modern hotel. The staff was friendly, had no problem at all. The rooms ar soundproff, extremely comfortable beds. Unfortunately the rooms are not too big, but it was enough for 3 people. The 3rd bed for the child was a full-value normal bed. Breakfast was great with cheese and ham and cold-*cuts as well.
All in all, we were very satisfied and contented with our stay at this Hotel for the Price that no other Hotel could beat (we were able to book avail their "Tuesday offer")! 1.) Temporary Parking space - Arrival & Departure Upon Arrival at the hotel, there is no temporary parking lots in front of the hotel where one could park. It wasn't easy to find a parking space around so that we had to park very far away. As it was our first time in the hotel, we didn't know if there is a Garage and where could we temporarily park while going to the reception. We had to walk such a long distance to the hotel in the middle of the night to get to the Reception (thinking it was only my daughter (12years old)& I). The same with getting out of the Garage. There is no temporary parking space where you could park while one walk back to the hotel to give the remote control back at the reception. I wish there was a sensor at the gate so that a remote control won't be necessary in exiting the Garage or a drop box for the remote control. 2.) Room My daughter I had a huge room with a double bed and 2 single beds with individual lamps. We've checked in at Ibis Hotels (where the rooms are typically small and the bathrooms are in green Color) and we were amazed as we didn't expect the rooms to look differently. But one could hear the people at the corridors very well. The bathroom was also big and very modern. The shower is very nice, although the shower cubicle is small so that the water sprinkled outside the shower. But there were no closets and no desk with a mirror (necessary for ladies where one could do her make-up, etc.). There are enough plugs everywhere! We got enough towels too. Thanks to the Chambermaids for doing their Job well. 3.) Breakfast I wasn't so delighted with the breakfast, the buffet was too small (even compared to the other Ibis Hotels), there wasn't too much choice on cold cuts (actually, just a slice or two when we got there) and no fresh fruits, just canned fruits. So I could say, the breakfast was bad. 4.) Location Very good as there is a public Transportation in front of the hotel (except for the parking space Problem mentioned above).
Stay in ibis Styles Strasbourg avenue Du Rhin. Address in the website mentioned 67000 and navigator can't find the address? But based on Google, Strasbourg postcode is 67100! Then we find the street name for this hotel! So reminder for the hotel, its postcode 67100 to find this hotel street address. Anyway, this hotel location are the best thing that I like. Nearby the tram line D to Centreville (shopping area and all gorgeous buildings plus river canal bridges of Strasbourg). The hotel have an indoor pay parking area but around the hotel, there's also free parking spaces. If you are lucky, then you will get a free space. The room, big enough for 2adults 2kids, big bathroom. No fridge or water in the room but there's a "free corner" nearby reception. Free corner here are Free coffee, tea, juices, yoghurt and other small stuff that normally you can find them for breakfast time. Because the hotel quite brand new, which is some part still under construction mode on. We could not find a 'restroom' nearby receptionist, so if someone need to go to toilet. Then we need to go to the hotel room. It's good for a night stay.
The trip was excellent, I was staying for 4 nights. Very close to highway, with easy access to the center of Strasbourg. The tram line is just in front of the hotel and 15 min to the historic center. The staff was very helpful. They were solving all my requests, even not in their responsibilities. The breakfast - fresh and outstanding.
Lovely hotel in a great location. The first stay I can't fault, friendly staff, fantastic room (water and sweets on pillows, two full size single beds) and great breakfast. Second time round room not as big (no water, single beds were a double mattress on the floor, not as much choice at breakfast). Morning staff not as friendly. Under ground parking very secure. First visit not charged for parking second visit charged 8euros. This was not mentioned on web site.
The member of staff on reception on our arrival (4th August) was exceptional and I regularly stayed in ACCOR group hotels and she was one of the best. Obviously hotel only recently opened at there still is some finishing to be completed not least the ability to use the underground parking properly as entry keys were limited to 3 so we need to stop and pick up and run back to hotel on every entry or exit.
