This hotel used to be on the main road leading from Manchester to the M6, it's now off the beaten track due to the residents of Knutsford. So there in lies the problem the hotel is fine and at the price excellent, comfortable, no frills, quiet and does exactly as it says on the tin. The big problem is finding it, with no signs and no street lighting you could be driving around all night!! Come on IBIS do something about the signage soon.

We have used this Ibis Budget on three occasions now on route to Glasgow. Quiet, basic and had all we required for our stop offs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Absolutely no complaints. Recommend leaving junction 20 M6 which makes it far easier to find using the sat. nav. it cannot cope with the new road layout from junction 19.

Really pleased with this hotel as had a very long drive to Liverpool from SW England and needed to find a hotel as a pit -stop like this, approx 45 mins away from Liverpool. The web site for this hotel said no tea/coffee facilities in the room, I made a special request for this and abracadabra there it was in my room when I walked in. Nice touch. Bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows, nice big shower unit, plenty of towels. Tip-top for me. Really pleased with this hotel for what is a budget/basic hotel which is what I was looking for. I would highly recommend and I will use it again as I will be travelling in that direction once a month onwards.

Considering the price we were slightly dubious as our daughter was staying with us too but we were pleasantly suprised! Upon arriving the staff were very welcoming, our room was very clean and very tidy! Overall we had a lovely stay! In the morning we asked the front desk for an extra cup so our daughter could have a morning tea with us and she was thrilled. Spacious shower which is great for washing little ones hair as it's so long! Tv worked fine, heaters were great. For a "budget" room I happily would have paid more! An will certainly be staying again next time we visit our friends! Would certainly recommend!

Never again! A problem with plumbing sounded like a drill going every few minutes. Even the reception heard it but could not stop it! No sleep at all, never again.pity as the room was fine if basic.they need a plumber quick !

Good hotel for an overnight stop. Handy for the M6 but little in the immediate vicinity by way of food and drink etc. Very warm welcome from the receptionist and helpful advice provided. Clean hotel and provided everything we needed for our brief stopover.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean, but the bed is too soft, not ideal for back support. Location is not convenient as it is not close to any shops / restaurants. However, it is value for money.

This hotel is now sadly bypassed by a new road. However, it is worth seeking out. We used it for a stopover before flying from Manchester Airport and it is conveniently located a short drive away, without attracting airport hotel charges. The room was large, clean and comfortable, and nicely styled, with a good shower room. There was a smallish TV with SD free-view channels. There was no tea/coffee making facilities and a limited range of cold food & drink from vending machines in reception. But there is a pub serving food nearby. As we were on an early flight we chose to eat breakfast air-side at the airport. We would definitely stay her again when travelling from Manchester airport

The staff were very friendly throughout my stay. However the room itself was dirty. The shower silicone had seen better days and was mouldy and the squashed spider against the wall in the bedroom was a particular treat. One of the reasons I booked was because of the Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, however upon trying to connect it would not and after speaking to the lady on the desk I was told that the phone lines weren't working so there wasn't any WiFi. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Despite using many ibis budget hotels in the past I would not recommend this one at all especially at the price per room in comparison to other competitors

Clean room is about the best epithet. It's down a cul de sac, with no hint that anything is open - the BP station and little chef next to it are closed . The signage says "Road Closed", would be useful if it said "Ibis Open". We stayed 2 nights - second night slept with earplugs to avoid the early flights from 5:30 as it is on the flight path to Manchester Airport. It also stops the noise from reception which you can hear therough the wall (room 33) Ask for a ketle as there are no services anywhere near - if you get htere early enough you'll be lucky and get one but it isn't standard in the room. No apparently is heating - there is some convoluted timer on an aelectric panel heater like we have for our shower room, so totally inadequate for a large room

We received a very warm, friendly welcome from the staff behind the desk on arrival. He was most helpful in explaining where we could eat in the evening, together with directions of how to get there. The room was larger than expected for a budget hotel, with a sofa for relaxing in addition to the comfortable double bed.

I know this was a budget hotel but no drink making facilities is a bit mean. We managed to get food from the Little Chef but that has closed now so we won't be staying there again. Having said all that the staff were really pleasant and helpful, the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable.

We booked a room so we could get some well needed sleep following a very late arriving flight at Manchester airport. When we go to the hotel we found that the couch bed had not been made and their wasn't even any bedding for it. The night porter was great and sorted it all out but it meant it was nearly another hour before we could get any sleep. The couch bed was uncomfortable and there was only one thin pillow each. The hotel did not appear in the Accor hotels app and I was unable to log my stay. I have generally avoided Ibis hotels and this experience has confirmed my decision.

Excellent, helpful staff where nothing was too much trouble. A little difficult to find with the new roads, but it was fine in the end. Reception sorted a taxi when even Uber couldn't, though the less said about him the better!

As a group of six staying at the ibis the rooms were great the staff excellent .The amenities bar n grill whsmiths, barbers,McDonald's,greggs, cbshop and petrol station fantastic. Wifi bad, taxi fares expensive be careful who u book with.

Would just like to say how pleasant our stay at Knutsford Ibis was, OK it was just a room with en suite, but it was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable, we travel with our little dog and there was plenty of room to put her 'bedroom' up. The staff we dealt with couldn't have been nicer, I really can't fault this place and would definitely stay there again.

Only had one bath towel in double room with surprisingly two people in it? Very basic hotel so do not expect a lot especially hot water...... Lukewarm shower Saturday evening was bad enough to then wake up Sunday morning to NO HOT WATER at all. Very poor.

An adequate room spoiled by what can be described as the worst hygiene I have seen this side of campsite. Floor was sticky and dirty in the room. Bathroom floor was brown around the edges and after a show the once white foot towel had to be peeled off of the floor to revel brown marks on the underside from the floor. Pretty unpleasant. On a plus side the reception staff were pleasant.

We had trouble finding the place as it only has one very small notice hidden amongst many others. We thought the two ladies on duty [changing] on arrival were excellent & very friendly. Returning to the hotel after a meal we found the television had a problem. Randomly there was an overlaid narrative at an extreme volume likely to wake the whole hotel. After half an hour of this issue my wife asked reception if this could be resolved. Apparently the TV suppliers had been out previously & had been unable to resolve this issue. They asked if we wished to be moved - at 11-30ish? We lodged a further complaint in the morning. This receptionist had never heard of it before. A letter of complaint has been sent to HQ.

Spacious rooms with a shower room just like home. My dog enjoyed his stay as well - sniffing out the rabbits in the hotel garden. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. However remember to ask for shower mat to stop yourself slipping in the shower. Will definitely stay again when I am in the area on holiday from Spain
