Clean room is about the best epithet. It's down a cul de sac, with no hint that anything is open - the BP station and little chef next to it are closed . The signage says "Road Closed", would be useful if it said "Ibis Open". We stayed 2 nights - second night slept with earplugs to avoid the early flights from 5:30 as it is on the flight path to Manchester Airport. It also stops the noise from reception which you can hear therough the wall (room 33) Ask for a ketle as there are no services anywhere near - if you get htere early enough you'll be lucky and get one but it isn't standard in the room. No apparently is heating - there is some convoluted timer on an aelectric panel heater like we have for our shower room, so totally inadequate for a large room

We received a very warm, friendly welcome from the staff behind the desk on arrival. He was most helpful in explaining where we could eat in the evening, together with directions of how to get there. The room was larger than expected for a budget hotel, with a sofa for relaxing in addition to the comfortable double bed.

I know this was a budget hotel but no drink making facilities is a bit mean. We managed to get food from the Little Chef but that has closed now so we won't be staying there again. Having said all that the staff were really pleasant and helpful, the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable.

We booked a room so we could get some well needed sleep following a very late arriving flight at Manchester airport. When we go to the hotel we found that the couch bed had not been made and their wasn't even any bedding for it. The night porter was great and sorted it all out but it meant it was nearly another hour before we could get any sleep. The couch bed was uncomfortable and there was only one thin pillow each. The hotel did not appear in the Accor hotels app and I was unable to log my stay. I have generally avoided Ibis hotels and this experience has confirmed my decision.

Excellent, helpful staff where nothing was too much trouble. A little difficult to find with the new roads, but it was fine in the end. Reception sorted a taxi when even Uber couldn't, though the less said about him the better!

As a group of six staying at the ibis the rooms were great the staff excellent .The amenities bar n grill whsmiths, barbers,McDonald's,greggs, cbshop and petrol station fantastic. Wifi bad, taxi fares expensive be careful who u book with.

Would just like to say how pleasant our stay at Knutsford Ibis was, OK it was just a room with en suite, but it was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable, we travel with our little dog and there was plenty of room to put her 'bedroom' up. The staff we dealt with couldn't have been nicer, I really can't fault this place and would definitely stay there again.

Only had one bath towel in double room with surprisingly two people in it? Very basic hotel so do not expect a lot especially hot water...... Lukewarm shower Saturday evening was bad enough to then wake up Sunday morning to NO HOT WATER at all. Very poor.

An adequate room spoiled by what can be described as the worst hygiene I have seen this side of campsite. Floor was sticky and dirty in the room. Bathroom floor was brown around the edges and after a show the once white foot towel had to be peeled off of the floor to revel brown marks on the underside from the floor. Pretty unpleasant. On a plus side the reception staff were pleasant.

We had trouble finding the place as it only has one very small notice hidden amongst many others. We thought the two ladies on duty [changing] on arrival were excellent & very friendly. Returning to the hotel after a meal we found the television had a problem. Randomly there was an overlaid narrative at an extreme volume likely to wake the whole hotel. After half an hour of this issue my wife asked reception if this could be resolved. Apparently the TV suppliers had been out previously & had been unable to resolve this issue. They asked if we wished to be moved - at 11-30ish? We lodged a further complaint in the morning. This receptionist had never heard of it before. A letter of complaint has been sent to HQ.

Spacious rooms with a shower room just like home. My dog enjoyed his stay as well - sniffing out the rabbits in the hotel garden. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. However remember to ask for shower mat to stop yourself slipping in the shower. Will definitely stay again when I am in the area on holiday from Spain

Would have liked tea and coffee making in room Shower pressure poor Food near by difficult, need to travel as only poor little chef near to site Not as good as other Ibis site we have staied at in UK or France

Very clean room, service great (we arrived very late due to traffic and reception staff were welcoming and helpful), location ideal its so close to the m6 but you can't hear the traffic and good value for money.

Stayed here the night before and after our recent holiday flying from Manchester. Easy to get to /from airport but very close to motorway. Only Little Chef on site so if you arrive late no place to eat. Best to stay at Ibis Budget at Lyme as we have done before booked this one by mistake.

The accommodation was very good. Clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only down side - I arrived after 9pm and the Little Chef next door was not open until the following morning. Lymm Services had food outlets open.

The price was right for this very simple, friendly hotel. It was confusing how to get to it at night in the rain. This was my first experience at an ibis budget hotel, so I was surprised at its simplicity.

Basic room but fine and convenient for one night stay. Having toiletries in the room would have been a bonus especially if staying only for a short time as more likely to forget things. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

This is a clean and tidy budget hotel which is ideally situated to break a drive from Glasgow or the West of Scotland to London. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Although there are no food facilities there is an adjacent Little Chef which serves food from early morning to 9pm. After that there is a nearby garage which sells snacks and hot drinks.

I stayed in the Ibis Budget Knutsford after a wedding, and would have described the room as everything you could possibly want from a budget room. It was clean, nicely decorated in a minimalistic style, spaceous bathroom and shower, flat screen tv, seating area. But when it came to have a shower, we weren't provided with towels!

Great hotel. Clean, modern and had everything I needed. The lady on reception could not have been more helpful. I was given the wifi password on arrival, and was helped to book a taxi, which proved more difficult than it sounds!
