Ibis Lille Grand Palais delivers on quality bedding, noise insulation, large TV screen, power shower. Check in was very efficient and I was allowed to access my room before noon for which I was very grateful after a 14 hour flight.
The hotel is very well placed for events in the hall opposite. It is the staff that make the place, always friendly. The breakfast was as good as the other reviews suggested. When booking do specify if you want a no smoking room as some othe the rooms are for smokers.
Check-in fast and efficient, room and bathroom clean, bed and pillow comfortable, breakfast perfect. Nothing else to add. Perfect location next to the Lille Grand Palais (Exhibition & conference centre)
Very clean, quiet, tasteful and functional interior. Courteous and capable staff, good restaurant situated in same building around the corner. Breakfast was enjoyable, internet fast, close to the major rail stattions.
Good reception , very helpful staff. the two rooms were clean exactly what we required. Car parking was ok , but with only five (5) spaces we were very lucky to get one. Not sure what you can do better in a city hotel , but something to consider if travelling by car with young children and all their bits.
This Ibis hotel was ideal for our short stay in Lille: well located close to the city centre, clean and well maintained, and the staff were very helpful. The price was ramped up a bit doubtless owing to the Euros, but generally we were happy.
Only dtayed for one night and was impressed. We had a clean spacious room plenty big enough for three adults. Good selection for breakfast, helpful staff and within easy walking distance of train station and centre. Would rebook.
Location looked a bit remote as it was behind everything. But Lille is no a big city, so everything is in a waling distance. That means it's not remote at all. Even you feel lazy to walk five minutes for a drink, you can get it at the hotel bar. Staff are all friendly. Than you for the great stay.
We spent two nights in this hotel and we were satisfied with. The location of the hotel is good, we walked to the main attractions, the old town, zoo, etc. I was a bit confused about the parking possibilities, but we found that the EFFIA parking just under the Gare Flandres is a good option from Friday noon till Monday noon for 24 euros (see their website). Probably it would be good for other days, too, to have some nice tariffs for hotel guests. The breakfast was also good value for money, highly recommended before a busy day. We missed to ask a quiet room, so we found that rooms 1-4 (e.g.301) are a bit noisy for those who have sleeping difficulties. But we didn't ask change. But good to know. As the weather was warm, the bedding was also warm, (we didn't switched on the clima). But we very appreciated the good quality beds and bedding! The neighboring self service restaurant Flunch was also good place for dinner and lunch.
