I have stayed 3 times now at this hotel due to work, and each time it has gotten worse. Every fridge has not been clean and is growing something, there have been out of control guests and little demonstration of control procedures for such guests, meaning all other guests cannot sleep (police called on last stay). The noise is also heavy as the design of the building has a 1 inch gap under the room door as a standard feature, allowing lots of noise into the room. Customer service is at best average. Sorry but too many disappointments after 3 individual stays. Won't be back
We needed someone central to attend a number of family re-unions all around the central coast area and this property stands at a perfect location for our needs. Will gladly return. We stayed in 409 and I was disappointed that the quality chrome toilet roll holders appeared not to be properly cleaned since Jesus was a boy and that detracted from my overall impression of the cleaning staff's dedication to thoroughness.
Apart from being placed in a disabled room (ever seen the mess in those bathrooms after taking a shower) for what reason I don't know (or was it because we booked through a le club accor offer??) we paid $20 for a water glimpse room to get moved. Had to ask for the Welcome Drink Voucher, and although it was filled out I was told it was not part of the deal (??). Most Mercure's give two vouchers, one for both le club accor members. However the biggest disappointment was "the breakfast" that we opted for as a "special offer". A coffee machine that didn't work and a bit of toast. The night before we stayed at The Mercure Liverpool and had a full buffet breakfast on the same offer. Very disappointing overall.
The hotel was located in a good spot, not far from the entrance and there were a few restaurants within walking distance. The staff were also very friendly & helpful. The room we stayed in overnight was located on the second floor and had a decent view of the lake. The room was quite clean and the bed was comfy, although the walls were very thin and we could hear other guests in the hallway (this can become quite annoying when you're trying to sleep). The vending machine on our floor was a let down as everything we purchased was expired; other than that this hotel is fairly priced for an overnight stay.
First time here, this hotel is attached to The Diggers Club for which you get automatic pass to enter. The hotel is a short walk to the beautiul Tuggerah lake and also close to The Entrance. My room was basic and very clean, to sum it up 'money well spent'
Staff very obliging, room quite small. No discount on food. Had to join the Diggers Club to get members price for drinks. Membership card takes over a week to be activated so if you play the pokies after joining in the first week, you get no rewards. Buffet closed at 8.30PM and we were still eating due to the massive amount of people in the buffet.
We stayed in an upstairs room at Ibis Styles. Our room had two windows looking out over the lake, every modern convenience and was almost the biggest room we've seen. The passageway secure link into the adjoining Diggers Club meant access at all times to three different food options. Staff were friendly and one of our best Accor stays.
The first thing I notice upon entering our room was the clean fresh smell. The bed was comfy, the room was spacious. The reception was inviting and the decor fresh and modern. The staff at reception were friendly and always greeted us when we passed through. Very convenient having an air bridge through to the club with private access.
I like this Ibis in the way that its part of the Diggers Club at Long Jetty. This enables you to have easy access to very good value dining and other general social activities. Being attached to the club, there is plenty of parking and in fact it is probably best to have a car if you're staying here, because Public Transport can be a bit infrequent. I've stayed here twice now and there are a couple of small suggestions for improvement that I have. Firstly, if the Wifi password could be issued for the duration of a stay, rather than every 24 hours. It just becomes a small nuisance to ring reception every day for a new one. Secondly, breakfast seems a bit sparse and because there is only a limited offering which does not change, it gets boring after a day or two. Maybe the pancake machine could be brought in from next door or another one purchased. I've stayed in a lot of Ibises around the world in recent years and this is probably the lightest breakfast in terms of variety that I've seen. However even with these two suggestions, it's a good place to stay and I'll stay here again.
A clean, comfortable property with lovely lake views. Terrific value for money very well located with Club next door providing good dining options. Beautiful breakfast. Well designed modern rooms and friendly efficient staff.
Our stay at Ibis Styles was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The king lake view room was large and had all the latest amenities you need for a weekend away. Covered access to the Diggers Club was very easy as we ate several meals there including the wedding dinner. Good value and not too far from beaches and the shops.
Loved how new this place felt. It was so clean. The view from our room was lovely. Attached to diggers for convenience, I liked the choices of places to eat. Breakfast was nice. The kids loved the complimentary lolly pops. The gym was right next door too, so handy.
our room was very clean and modern. Excellent service from front desk staff. We stated in a family room and Judd were in a pull out sofa. Room was pretty big. We all felt comfortable. Continental breakfast at the club was pretty good.
I took my family to the ibis for a quick birthday getaway for 2 nights. The staff were friendly helpful and the room was clean modern and comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and the rooms serviced daily.
Our room had a lovely view over lake, newish hotel and convenient Diggers Club next door with internal access from hotel. Good 25 minute walk to The Entrance. Very limited parking undercover - just expect to be parked outside.
We couldnt sleep all night in the room we stayed in 414. We heard some knocking sound all night in bed. i had asked other family members and they have the same hearing all night. We have doubts there are ghost in the room
Its a wonderful feeling when you arrive at a hotel that you have only previously seen in photos and it surpasses your expectations. Wonderful place, location, service and food... Not to mention the view!!!
Overall very good. Had problem connecting to Wi-Fi on new tablet but that could be me not knowing how to. Worked fine on Mobile. could not set time on Digital Clock radio. Tried everything I could think of. Convenience of access to Diggers Club a large plus. Rooms clean and tidy. Door to bathroom could be better designed.
A fabulous place with lovely lake views, beautiful new well appointed rooms. All staff we encountered were exceptional and eager to please. A really lovely experience and we'll certainly be back there.
Booking room through website was simple and was keenly priced. We were welcomed on arrival with an efficient checkin process. Room was well decorated and furnished with a king bed and some views to the lake. Only quibble would be with the fridge that did not keep things cool and has no means of adjusting temp. Bathroom compact but fitted out well and had fantastic towels. The ability to open windows and not needing to use airconditioning was a plus.Hotel is next to the Diggers Club which has excellent dining options and entertainment on tap.
