The hotel room is spacious, nice and quite. City centre is very close. A very pleasant hotel with style. We have stayed at the building Residence, which is in one buildong with a theathre. Nice athmosphere.
Good hotel, well located, lovely personal but WiFi system is not acceptable. Another problem is hot water in shower could pass from hot to very very hot. Hope they will solve these two issues. I will try again next time and see.
Very convenient to the center of town Extremely helpful staff with directions , tours, and restaurants. Very clean. My only minus points were pillows were terrible, rooms way too hot. Wish there would have been a lobby bar asroom for one and place to relax together.
The hotel was all it promised to be. Functional, clean and comfortable. It is however conveniently located for those who wish to further explore Parma on foot. For me it was a convenient overnight stay en route from Ancona heading North
Expect: a cold welcome; a "pre-arrival" SMS arriving on the second day; no housekeeping and no apology (did hand us new towels); hard uncomfortable pillows with no other options. Great Location! Stayed here once before, also a bit put off by it; however, we gave it the benefit of the doubt.
Easy walking from train station approx 15mins ,,easy access to bars and restaurants.Staff helpful.Would stay again. If flying from UK to Bologna airport bus to train station 6euros per person, Train from Bologna to Parma euros 7.35 per person,DO NOT FORGET TO VALIDATE ALL TICKETS this is a warning as you will be find on the spot.
The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the city centre and enjoys a good position with views over the river. There is limited parking, on a first come first served basis. The hotel is comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient. There is complimentary wifi but it is slow and was intermittently unavailable during the stay but allowed for the download of daily papers.
This is the second sequential long term stay at this hotel. As a North American, I understand that the English channels are limited however they did not work for each of my stays. For the first stay I kept being told that it would get fixed tomorrow. By the end of my 10 day stay, I requested to speak to the manager about being compensated for my repeated requests and lack of functionality of the television. He did not even call me back or email me and the customer service regarding the issue was a "well too bad" type of attitude. I was offered to move rooms two days before the end of my stay or wait until 'tomorrow' for the issue to be fixed. I waited. No fix. For the second 10 day stay, to be fair, I was offered a room in the main building due to the television not working again, but declined due to the size being smaller and we were a party of two. Perhaps my expectation for a polite service level are beyond reasonable, but I don't think so. I have had other stays at Ibis properties since and have not had any issues so I will not say that it is the Ibis brand, but rather this particular hotel's management.
Would definitely stay again, when in town, we stayed in. Annex which was very quie t, clean, appropriately furnished, but not comodious. We're the theatre not to be dark, noise level might be an issue.
The rooms had a weird smell, showers are tiny, the atmosphere in the room is disappointing and doesn't even make you want to be in the room!! The location however is perfect as it is only a few steps away from the city centers Main Street!!
I liked the location, easy parking, the breakfast and the kindness of staff. I arrived just before the scheduled time to check in and the clerk promptly admitted me without any problem. moreover it gave me a city map.
It was not my first visit to Parma but the first experience with this new stylish Ibis chain hotel. Not far from the station, took us about 10 min on foot, to get there,It is located on the river bank, (we took wonderful pictures of the sunset) , and although on the busy street no noise disturbed us during the night. We often stayed at Ibis hotels before but this time when opened the door we were nicely surprised with the decoration style , so delicate in colours, so pleasant to eyes, Everything was so perfectly clean and smart, all and everything in the bathroom, nothing more a traveller could wish or desire. The reception was incredibly warm, very home -like welcome and great understanding to all our needs from the staff. We booked breakfast there and enjoyed the meal that though was typical for Ibis group hotels, was very well cooked and served for us.I'll certainly try to come here again!
Our week here was very pleasant. The hotel is clean (up to the usual Accor standard), the staff are friendly and helpful and we were lucky enough to have a room overlooking the river. Our deal included breakfast which offered plenty of choice and set us up for the day well. The reception area has seating, a computer and printer for guests to use, newspapers, magazines and refreshments available at all times. A short stroll (7 or 8 minutes) brings you to the central piazza making this a great location too.
This hotel is quite new, well maintained, clean and well equipped. We like the large king-size bed as it is comfortable. When we arrived early, near the reception area, we had good coffee from the self service machine free of charge. As for breakfast, it is just ok. Foods are sufficient, but not great. It is ok for this class of hotel. The hotel is located conveniently near the town centre, within walking distance. Overall, it is value for money, especially the car parking fee is included. We were satisfied with our 1 night stay there.
i was at the "teatro" dependance of Parma Toscanini. It's 5 minutes walking from main hotel. It's quiet, the rooms are not ***** but really good clean and modern. The only thing: let the reception give you 2 keys even if you're alone. I had one and in the night it didn't work, so i had to go to the reception and come back (it was cold outside..)
Pleasant stay. Enjoyed. breakfast was excellent and business center although small was very good. Room size was bit smaller but comfort was available and .all services including front desk services was very good. Overall A+
Ibis Toscanini in Parma is a nice hotel, located in the vicinity of the cntre of town, clean rooms, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff, and very affordable rate. As mmber of Accor I am a bit disappointed that the Accor points for staying in the hotel are often not automatically registered. But apart from this little annoyance, I can recommend this hotel especially in case the stay in Parma is of limited duration and business related.
The room was big and comfortable. Maybe because I was at the end of the hall, the wifi was a little unreliable. I also had to get my keycard reactivated twice, inexplicably. The breakfast was quite good. Overall, I would stay there again next time in Parma.
Having stayed at a number of Ibis hotels over the years, this hotel was wonderfully appointed and close to any number of the excellent small restaurants that rightly make Parma Italy's culinary capital.
Quiet hotel ,close to the town centre ,overlooking the river and about 15 -20 minute easy walk from the train station.Spacious comfortable rooms in a relaxed environment.Self serve refreshments in the foyer. Bonus!
