hotel room is big and comfortable. wifi signal is good but internet line is bad. i can't access internet at night onwards and need to use my phone data plan. front office staff is a bit rude. When i ask for guest folio and she ask me what is guest folio ?

It was a pleasant stay at Ibis Melaka, especially with the assistance from the Senior manager, Mr. Hakim, front desk, Miss Nova. They gave a great help to ensure our check in process smoothly despite of having minor issue. Also, thanks to their prompt response in helping us to retrieve our lost item back. Appreciate for the arrangement. Definitely will be coming back next time.
Horrible hotel from the point of check-in. Already made payment upon booking online and confirmed via email that no further payment to be made at hotel. Arrived at hotel for check-in, hotel requested for payment although showed them the email stating so. I asked, is it a deposit? They insisted no, and that a payment is required. I was astonished. I've showed them the email from Accor clearly. And they still ignored it and insisted for payment. I relented. Part 2. Had complimentary drinks at the bar. First put off, no coffee. I've always gotten my coffee and so many other Ibis hotels. This they only had juice and it's not fresh juice. Probably cordial juice. My companion was having a bad cough. I requested if one could be changed to hot tea, the duty manager blatantly rejected my request. Talking about Accor caring for their guests. It is all a total BLUFF!!! Anyone planning to stay here should consider IHG hotels instead. The service is horrible and they do not care about their guests. But nonetheless, no complaints about facilities. Don't ever let me see that care-less manager.
Hotel staffs are very helpful, friendly and patient to answer all my requests and queries. Room lighting could be brighter but are clean and satisfactory. Good location, near Jonker Street, guardian and 7-11 are across the road - just in case you didn't bring toiletries. Restoran Saravanna is beside the hotel, great for breakfast / supper / tea.
Nice spacious rooms. Front desk staff less friendly. Was given first floor.. noisy from the street sound.
It's was very comfortable stay n service was excellent except the welcome drinks not up to my expectation
Love the hotel, room is perfect,service is 5 star and location wise the best so far in Melacca. Walking distance to Jonker Walk.. night market, Hard Rock Cafe and A Famosa. .
We were very satisfied with this stay. The only thing was about the parking. We only realised there's no indoor parking upon arrival which was not As per mentioned in their website. They should not mislead the tenants.
