I had a very comfortable stay - the bed was comfy and the rooms are completely quiet with effective black out blinds at night. Great location - easy walking distance from the historic centre. The cleaning is also excellent - my room was kept so clean and tidy. Good power shower. Thank you very much,

The property is clean and nice . There accounting and there computer interfacing is a different story. I wanted to pay cash upon immediate check in and was denied. Instead they overcharged credit card almost 2000 peso . Then they had my reservation stay from 1st through 7 after management Carlos looked into it I was granted an apology and a credit to my card. When I checked out I was charged an additional 63 usd . The female night auditor had no clue or supervision upon how to handle the issue at hand at 0430 This current charge is now in the hands of the bank as I disputed it . After all this convoluted activity. I recommend never to pre pay for a hotel room and find a suitable hotel that will accept cash for payment and use of the card for deposit only you will save yourself the bring home stress and extra curricular activities of sorting out a mess like this. This hotel has accounting issues beware!!!!!!!

Arrived late at night and left very early in the morning. Approx 20 minutes from the airport. Compared with the hotel near the airport, this hotel offers better price and the distance was not a problem for me. The room was comfort as same as other IBIS hotel.

I spent almost one 25 nights on February 2017 at Ibis Alameda Central Mexico City, in the middle of my stay I did a 5 days business trip to Europe and the General Manager Ivonne Shulz didn't store my luggage while my short trip, then I had to carry all my one month luggage with me :-( . The excuse she told me was security politics, then a said that the same favor was was give me by the Novotel Monterrey Mexico last year and the Ibis Mourumbi Sao Paulo Brazil on 2015, the answer was each hotel has his owns politics. Another complain is about the payment form, I can't spent my last trip week bacause this hotel can't accept remote payment and my company from Venezuela can't do the payment from there :-). This type of payment was accepted in my previous booking of five months in Sao Paulo Brazil on 2015 and six months in Monterrey Mexico on 2016. Thanks for your attention and sorry about the length of my complain

Ibis Alameda permits you to stay few minutes from the most of Historic Center attractions. And you can get it at a fair price, comfort, plenty breakfast, kind staff, parking lot (at a cost), recoverig sleep and the "feeling like being home" given by every Ibis Hotel.

Wi-fi wasn't working well - or wasn't working at all sometimes even though I was on the first floor - and I had to go to Starbucks to be able to work during my stay in Ibis hotel. I don't think I have ever met something similar.

Like any Ibis brand in the world, this hotel carried that brand of friedliness, casualness and coolness. The location if perfect very close to Bellas Artes and within the Zocalo area (historic centre). The staff ensures your safety when taking taxis or any transport related enquiries. The breakfast and dinner package offered by the hotel is very very reasonable. The rooms are clean, bed linens and towels are crisp and clean. For the proximity to the city centre and the amount we paid for 4 days, this hotel was definitely value for money... I will definitely go back to this hotel again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Ibis Alameda. We have stayed in other comparably priced hotels and budget hotels in Mexico City and this was our favorite by far. The beds are much nicer than in the other hotels we have stayed in. It is pretty clean and you get a discount when you join their club for free online. Only one morning we decided to have breakfast at the hotel. It was not as good as I had hoped for. The coffee was bitter and they only had American with caffeine in a machine that was only to be operated by the employees. Also, the had make your own chilaquiles and pozole but no chicken to put in either one. When I asked for chicken they said that today it was vegetarian style...i.e. No chicken. The fruit bar was nice and the sweet breads were ok. The papaya juice was tasteless but we liked the prickly pear water. Overall it was a good stay, just disappointed with the taste and quality of the breakfast. We would stay there again if the prices stay close to the same as what we paid.

Close to Juárez exit 3 metro station and 5 plus city landmarks by foot. Excellent location, normal room and good price. The only bad thing is the breakfast. You can eat better and for less outside. There's also a mall close by with Starbucks and fast food rest.

I had spent a very long time researching hotels for a family vacation to Mexico City. Ibis Alameda was chosen for its' location and price. I joined Accor Hotel loyalty program to get a better rate, and had excellent help from Mushtaq online, who made sure I could get the 2 bed room I needed. On arriving by taxi at the hotel, I was a little apprehensive as Calle Balderas is a little scruffy, with lots of traffic and food vendors on the street. Once inside, the reception was modern, clean and welcoming. The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful, good-humored. Our rooms were small but spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, air con, great sound insulation to the street, piping hot and plentiful water in the showers. Security was good with the room key allowing access to the hotel after 10.00 at night, to the floors during the day and night. Breakfast was available for 99 pesos and included eggs, beans, salsa, sometimes cooked meats, juices, yogurt, seeds and nuts, cereals, pastries, tea and coffee. Location was very good, with Plaza Juarez 2 mins walk away, Bellas Artes 10 mins walk, Centro Historico 10 mins walk, Zocola 15 mins walk. Metro Juarez was right next to the hotel giving us access to the whole city, for 5 pesos flat fare anywhere. I would like to praise all the staff. Yesiania, Monica, Emmanuel, Diana on reception. All the staff in the restaurant. all the cleaning staff. The security guard. Everyone was wonderful. I had to return after our time in Ixtapa, due to a mix up with my passport and without my family, and stayed for a further 4 nights, and felt perfectly safe and looked after. I would highly recommend Ibis Alameda, and to trying other Ibis properties around the world.

I paid for buffet breakfast for a week and every day was the same, some days were ok and others not ok Lobby service definitely the worse, I asked for help on printing my boarding pass and they left me seating there for 20 min, they forgot about me, then when Monica helped me, she said with an attitude that I did everything wrong and I said well that's why I'm asking for help, she gave that look and a fake smile, it make me feel like an idiot 😕 Bottom line, I wouldn't stay there again and wouldn't recommend it.

Service was not good, late check out asked by accorhotel status but not communicated between the staff so they woke up me, nothing almost available at breakfast, very slow service at the restaurant, only one elevator working. Compared to other Ibis, room is not at the best standards.

This hotel is very well located, close to museum and down town. It is easy to move for many places and atrattions on the city. I will be back next time in Mexico City. I recomend for business or vacation. .
