Everything was good until a day before I left, the Reception called me in the late afternoon and asked me if I had extended my stay. I thought I made a mistake (imagine I travelled 33 hours and there can be a confusion over the dates). She told me that I have to pay some MXN700 more. She asked me to come down to the reception to sort this out. But this could not be possible as I checked the email from accor regarding my booking. With the 2,000 points, I was supposed to pay 101 - according to the email. I forwarded the email to her. She told me she would check and called me back in 1 hour. She never did. At 2.00 am, when I came back from outside, there was another person at the counter. I asked and he said he needed another 1 hour (again) to check this. The next morning, when I checked out, the issue was not resolved. I did my calculation and I shown it to yet another person at the Reception and the Manager looked at the details. Finally, they apologized and I paid MXN110 and they did not even bother to give me the change! The outstanding amount was MXN101.71. Small monies but at least they should do it right. I left and I stayed another 4 days at nearby Valentina Hotel. It was fantastic - everything that can be compared, Valentina is ahead AND for almost the same price - in fact Valentina is slightly cheaper!
