The room small but clean and modern. Great selection at breakfast. Only issue was not replacing the toiletries the last day of our stay, staff was friendly and informative. Would definitely stay again.

perfect for city trip with little budget...easy access from Centraal Station to hotel with tram no.4 family room with good bedding, friendly staff ..the only but: due to the steep stairs at the mainentrance and inhouse should be quite difficult to access for handicapped people

The hotel is close to the Albert CuypMarket and about a 10 minute walk to the Rijksmuseum. The Tram 4 is almost across the street to get to Centraal Station and the main tourist area. The hotel is built into old houses so the rooms are all different layouts and are small. My bathroom had a small shower but the water pressure was great! The pillows were a bit lumpy. I could get the room cold enough to sleep by shutting off the radiator. IF you like warm rooms, you will be happy, too. The wi-fi worked well as did the TV. Breakfast included scrambled eggs and the food was kept topped off. Tania in the breakfast room was especially friendly. There are about 5 steep steps up to the front door as in most of these buildings. I would stay there again as we found many food and drink options within a 10 minute walk. Disclaimer: I like to walk!

Just one night but very acceptable. In centre, close to tram, shops, market. Everything you could need within walking distance. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Reception clean as was rest of hotel. Breakfast excellent.

Front service and breakfast is very good. The hotel location is 10 mins away from amsterdam centraal station by tram, cozy area and not far from tram station, thats good. There are two big supermarket on the right and on the left side of the hotel and not far, thats good. Unfortunately, I stayed for 8 nights so I found several times of room clean up is not good, they didn't clear the trash and the room seem like someone mess it. They took the rubbish bag out but put on the floor, didn't took out from the room. Our laggages was move and didn't put it back tidy as before I leave the room. There are four or five steps up high to the front desk which is quit difficult and tried for any guest who have a heavy luggage.

Well located and very clean hotel, good breakfast, nice and helpful staff, but in my opinion too expensive for a very a small room. Also - radiator was not working, so it was a bit cold. But generally room nice and cosy.

I would like to thank you the all personal who work in Ibis Styles Amsterdam Amstel, especially Mr. Raju and the lady who works in the breakfast service. All people are so kind and friendly. Thank you again.

Room felt damp as did the bedding, False fire alarm at 1 am did not help, to evacuate the hotel without using the lift proved to be hazardous, as the stairs are both narrow & on a slight spiral, one member of our party slipped & fell on the stairs

This is very late as we travelled in April 2015. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by friendly and very helpful staff. This was our first time in Europe and the clerk was so helpful in providing maps, tips, storing our bags until our room was ready. He was very knowledgeable of the area and the information was very helpful. Our room was fantastic with a view of the canal and the location was perfect. Such a wonderful trip!

The hotel is very well located, very easily accessible by tram. The staff is very friendly. The room was always very clean. The bed is amazingly comfortable. The steep stairs were an extra charm. Breakfast is served in a very comfortable room. Wifi worked nicely. The only negative aspect was that even though my husband and I kept our towels at the rack for reuse, the chambermaid changed them for fresh ones everyday, therefore preventing us to take part at Accor's Plant for the Planet Program.

I spent about 5 days in this hotel and i can say that it was the best option. Even though i had big suitcases, it was spacious enough for me to walk. The bed was really comfortable, the showers were nice, new TV, heating working. The location is also amazing: you can easily walk to dam Square, to the Rijksmuseum, to the Heineken experience and the staff is amazing. The only problem I had was with the toilet, whose flush was a bit stuck and there was water constantly coming down.

Location was very good, safe and calm. Not in the heart of the city but you can easily reach all the attractions (Tram 4). Cleanliness was perfect. Room was very small but handly. Very newly decorated and so bright. Our room was just near the elevator in the ground floor, so it was noisy. The door is not soundproof. Breakfast was decent and fresh.

Our stay was enjoyable and Muhamond on reception was particuarly helpful. The hotel is in a good location with access to two tram lines. The room was clean and well looked after, if a little small. The breakfast was fine and the breakfast staff were friendly. I felt that there could be a wider selection of fresh fruit, seeds and breads. Overall a good location for either business or pleasure.

I like the design of the hotel, one of the best ibis styles hotel, the location is perfect not in the crowded city centre nor so far from down town and the museums are on a walking distance. Staff is very helpful and professional, they are ready to help you all the time. There is a coffee machine 24 hours available in the lobby plus you have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I enjoyed my stay during the hotel.Highly Recommended!

The hotel is not very central, but in a good position quite central: you can choose for a 20 min walk or the tram to go the city center; and it's cheaper than other hotels more centrally located; the hotel is an old dutch house refurbished, so very steep stairs :-) breakfast room small compared to the dimension of the hotel.

Stayed on 4th floor for 3 nights and 4 days. Very quiet. Small yet cozy and stylish room as well as the bathroom. Love that it's close to tram (#4)! Breakfast selection (scambled eggs, cold cuts, etc) was also satisfying.

Great staff and breakfast!!!!! Good location too!!! Very close to train stop and Heinecken Experience. You can go walking to red light district and central station. The breakfast was amazing and the room very clean.

Best features - location near transport, cafes, and groceries and friendliness of staff, decent wifi Downside - tiny rooms/bed, and the slowest elevator Ask for a rear facing room which overlooks a quiet street.

The pillows were the worst I can ever remember from ANY hotel. Hard like stone, impossible to put under your head, impossible to sleep on. We, my daughter and I, had to change them out with the coloured decoration pillows, probably as many other guests. Change THEM regularily, or do somthing with the others. !

The room is cozy and warm: but the hotel has totally no services and the free hot drink part it's downstairs where the breakfast is served. And it's very tricky to reach. Stairs everywhere (you should advise that it's not good for injuried people or people in wheelchairs) and a stupid elevator. What is more: it's not a great value if you are a member of le club accorhotel.
