Stayed here for one night, check in was friendly and efficient, beds were comfy, water was hot and very little road noise. Out of the CBD but only a quick drive to be in the centre of town. Will definitely stay here again
Same staff provide very inconsistent service on different days. Food in the restaurant is pretty good. My advice is to stay at the Mecure in town. No HD TV channels. I bit of road noise No recognition of status achieved with the Accor program.
Have stayed here several times before and this time was by far the best rooms very nice food lovely and the staff more than accommodating check in smooth as was check out will definitely stay again next year when we are in Orange
Our welcome greeting at this hotel was extremely ordinary. The Receptionist just gave us the room key no introduction as to what time the restaurant was open or wifi code/ welcome drinks - nothing. This surpised us as we are regular guests of Accor and hadnt never encountered this lack of welcome before! When questioned about the weekend's big event in Orange, being the Food and Wine festival she was ignorant of the fact and said "oh is it this weekend?" and then we asked for any written material on the festival and she offered none, saying nothing had been dropped off about it! Nor did she say here is where the Tourist Information Office is located etc. The room was clean and bedding good, but it does require a total refurbishment or maintenance, paint on doors, new basin and TV is actually in front of mirror. Dinner on Saturday night was good, but we were the only two in restaurant. On checking out on Sunday, whilst we had an email indicating we had prepaid, the Receptionist kept insisting we hadnt and did we have our bank statement to indicate we had paid! I ask you, who carries around their past credit card statements in person to show one and all? Turns out the Hotel whilst indicating on our email that we had paid, hadnt actually taken the money out their end - poor accounting and correspondence on their part. Overall whilst we had a lovely stay in Orange, the hotel customer service requires a complete overhaul and much personal and professional development
Look, the place was clean enough but it has dated furnishings and the bed was OK. Everything worked but the bathroom really needs a spruce up. The staff made up for the shabbiness though - they were friendly and helpful, especially the women at dinner. Our kids are a handful and they were very nice and accommodating. Continental breakfast was good.
warm and friendly service. We were to arrive after 9pm, which advised them when I booked, and was going to call them about 8;30pm to let them know and to find out who we could get room key. Well the reception lady called on my mobile before our action. It was such an surprise, I didn't expect.
We stayed for two nights at this hotel and took advantage of the winter vacation promotion through Accor. Staff were friendly and courteous, the room was quite large, although the bathroom was smallish, it served the purpose. restaurant was good with an extensive menu at very reasonable prices.
A spacious room with queen bed and serviceable shower bathroom. Great food in the restaurant at night and usual breakfast at reasonable prices. Only an overnight stay but our second visit and would use it again.
Excellent hotel with very friendly & helpful staff, very good restaurant & meal selection. Stayed for the weekend and got to enjoy the local sights include Mount Canobolas walking tracks & rainfalls, following advice from hotel staff
Average continental breakfast, don't expect the kind of selection you would get at a Mercure hotel, you can have a hot breakfast. I didn't have dinner there. The staff are always happy to help. The grey walls in the restaurant are very dull and the courtyard could do with a facelift, the outdoor furniture looks awful. The gardener needs to fix up the dead shabby pot plants at the front of reception, for a venue that is used for functions that's not a good look. Overall, a good place to stay, not too far from the CBD, KFC, Maccas and 2 service stations are nearby.
The motel provided a good base for my work in Orange and the staff were very helpful. The WIFI had a reasonable speed and bed was comfortable enough. If looking for a quite place to lay your head in Orange, NSW then I would recommend the Ibis Styles Orange.
We stayed here 2 nights in a twin room, slept really well. Basic accommodation but nice. Had dinner on Friday night and the lady that served us was lovely. Then Sandra accommodated a group of us that needed an earlier breakfast due to having a race on. Definitely be back.
Good rooms, off street parking, very good restaurant onsite, very friendly & helpful staff, located on main road but rooms well insulated from the road noise, good location & able to walk to town in about 15 minutes
A polling station a short way away during the time of an State bye-election when there was a massive swing against the incumbent added spice to our stay. The unobtrusive and pleasant service of the staff overcame such deficiencies as lights not working
A very clean tidy hotel, the staff are friendly and courteous and couldn't be more helpful. The rooms are well laid out and very comfortable. We'd reccomend the Ibis Syles Orange to anyone considering staying there, and we're looking forward to trying more hotels in the Accor group.
Stayed for 3 nights, Room was large Queen bed + a single with a nice comfortable sofa tor relax on, Balcony to sit outside when the rain stopped!! Staff very friendly and helpful. Dined 2 nights in the restaurant the food was very high quality staff and very friendly staff. Would stay there again
Room was good but poor wifi. Also wifi's activation code is for 3 days only. Can you arrange the codes for one week example It's interesting about how much time it take to get my Accor points from this visit, still waiting! Why this is so difficult?
The greeting when checking in was great, and I was made feel very welcome. Unfortunately, the stay went down hill from there. I ordered dinner from room service, meal arrived no fork. Breakfast was ordered, but I was notified at the time my breakfast was meant to be delivered, that the cook was sick and all that could be offered was toast, which arrived soggy due to being wrapped in plastic film. No adjustment to charge though. The smoke detector was sitting on the wardrobe, rather than attached to the ceiling, and nobody seemed to care when this was mentioned on checking out.
Being a Le Club member, I like to stay at this motel. With the number of rooms they have I find it very hard to understand why there is only 1 disable room available. I have to travel to Orange for medical appointments approx. every 6 months. I phoned to enquire if this room was available and was told very abruptly and rudely it was not. Not once but repeatedly by this woman. This is not the first time I have been met with rudeness at this motel. At other places in this chain I have been treated respectfully.
Stayed for two nights. Room very average. Bathrooms need a serious upgrade! Also had issues with the lighting. Toilet stopped flushing on day 1 so they had to call a plumber in to look at. The 'free' breakfast that was included in our deal was below average - we didn't stay to eat it on either day.
