Great staff Very friendly ans all spoke good english. Room and en-suite a bit small but ok. Bring a fan and mosquito repellent. Evening food basic but enjoyable. Decent breakfast Not a huge selection but enjoyed. Not a top class hotel but great value for Paris. Bus stop just a few mins up the road. Secure parking
one night stop , room had windows open . lots of insects on the ceilings had to clear them.. room very small .the area looked run down. bar prices extortionate although breakfast was good. glad there was indoor car park. steps were a pain..
Checked in during our euro2016 trip.the hotel looked shabby with weeds growing in flower pots, fag ends strewn all over outside areas.the hotel had an awful aroma, tobacco and cheap disinfectant! we checked out within an hour of arriving.the worst ibis I've ever witnessed.oh and a horrible stained mattress just finished us off.paid £35 for a taxi to get us to another hotel in paris
We were going to the six nations rugby at the Stade de France and chose this hotel for it's proximity to the stadium as had other England fans. We also chose it as it was an Ibis style and expected it to be better than an Ibis budget hotel. However, the first disappointment was being told that we couldn't order lunch as they didn't serve lunch at the weekends although the lovely man on reception did offer me some of his pizza!! On our return from the rugby we were astounded to find that the bar had run out of beer and the man behind the bar was clearly struggling and if he'd gone any slower he would have ground to a halt. The hotel wasn't located anywhere near any other bars so we settled for a small bottle of red wine which was pretty much all that was on offer!! The final straw was the fire alarms going off twice on the first night and again on the second, disturbing our sleep and there was no apology from the staff. Altogether not a good experience and we would certainly think twice about booking Ibis style again....we've stayed in other Ibis hotels in England and have always been happy with them which was why we chose Ibis for our trip to Paris.
Very friendly welcome. Room and bathroom is much too small. The location is somewhere on the outskirts of Paris. Metro too far away. Even the taxidriver said: This is indeed in the Middle of Nowere. Walking to the hotel at night is not an option because of the bad neighbourhoud. Upside: Very friendly people. Price of the hotel is low. That does not make up for the downside.
Comfortable beds, helpful staff, continental breakfast.Quiet location and facing the river seine Metro 10 mins walk from the hotel. Few eating places near the metro station and no carrefour nearby.A visit to the Eiffel Tower is a must..
The building looks abandoned and nothing around it. The parking area looks like the building had a fire and broken glass from car windows was all around. The room was tiny with a rubber-like floor. The good news is it had Wifi, but the signal was weak and intermittent. If you're a gymnast, you won't have any problem climbing over the toilet to get to the shower. Good luck with this one!
The outside of the hotel was awful and it looks like it had burnt down. The staff took an age to check us in. Couldn't get a drink because the receptionist took too long to check some clients in. Loose wires were hanging out of the lift ceiling. Ran out of beer when we returned from the match. Then the hotel ran out of breakfast in the morning, so if you were not there first, you went hungry. Credit card facility didn't work properly so it took 30 minutes to check out. Disapointed. Will not go back.
Hotel had construction while we were staying. They said it is opening in September but when we arrived lobby had cables and it was under construction. Elevator was really old. "Ibis" name was not written on building so no one in that are knows where this hotel is, which makes finding address really hard. In rooms towels were not enough, there is only one towel for each person. Also no hair dryer service in hotel. Even they don't give it from lobby. 15 minutes walk from Carrefour Pleyel metro station. There is nothing around the hotel really isolated area so in night time it can be discomfortable. Rooms were nice and clean but really small. Also in some floors wifi is not working, we had to change our rooms. Only good think is breakfast.
