hotel is very itellegent and basic because quality perfect.workers is good.hotel design perfect.hotel is safe .and central dryer perfect but twenty euro deposit ;) .check in and check out system very fast

Despite its humble title this is an excellent hotel for a short stay. Directly opposite the railways station (15 mins from Stuttgart) and an excellent restaurant next door, I would commend this hotel to anyone. Breakfast is very good too.

The hotel is very clean and offers the standard IBIS quality. It is positioned at a superb location, staff is very polite and helpful. The breakfast as an add on service might be costly. An excellent choice for its cost

It's my first time in Ludgwigsburg and what I liked most about ibis budget is the location. It's across the street from the central train station I arrived at and later traveled from which is great for moving around with luggage. That makes it close to all transportation (train and bus), supermarkets, and bakeries in the central station building. The one thing I didn't like much about it (in comparison to other ibis budget hotels in other locations) was that the windows don't open fully. There was actually a warning on the window saying open fully only in case of emergency. Other than that the room was great, comfy and equipped with everything I need.

The hotel is recent, the location is perfect with an easy access by car and with the "Bahnhof" parking just in front of the entrance. We highly appreciated the proximity of the station, only 15 mn from Stuttgart. People at the reception are kind and available, rooms are quite spacious (in accordance with the standards), well equiped and very clean. Breakfast is perfect, with a large range of products.

A few point to mention. 1. On the last day of our stay, the cleaning stuff woke us knocking on the door 2 times - at 7:30 and at 9:00. Yes, I know that we haven't put the "Keep Quiet" sign on the door, but it was the checkout day after all, and nobody is supposed to clean the rooms, when you check out after 3 - 4 hours. 2. Despite the fact, that the breakfast was supposed to be until 10:30, at 10:00 the staff started to pack and clean the breakfast area, even though that we were still there and drinking coffee. 3. At 11:30, a very unfriendly member of the staff knocked on our door, and not even saying "Hello" or whatever, she just "Reminded" us, that the check out time is 12:00. Like it was not 11:30, but 12:15. Very, very rude and unfriendly. Yes, I know that it was 31.12, and we probably were the only one's in the hotel. Yes, I suppose that everyone of the staff probably wanted to be home and not at work, but this situations were not the Ibis type of service we all know. Also the lady at the reception took a defensive way of behavior, when I pointed out the above mentioned situations. She didn't reacted as well-trained front desk person, but tried to protect her colleagues.

Nice room and comfy bed. Unusual setting for shower in bedroom but as I was on my own it didn't matter. Staff very helpful and kind, spoke English very well and I was helped when I needed. Thank you. x

Decent hotel, very basic, but just what you need for one night: a bed and a bathroom. If you require a luxurious room, you should go elsewhere. If you are fine with a room that offers a bed, a bathroom, a TV, WIFI, and which is clean and tidy, then you might wish to consider staying here.

From the reservation via Internet till goodbye everything was perfect... I hope Hotel Owners take the IBIS's as example: Simple, comfortable and environmental friendly...... And I will be very happy to stay again in IBIS Ludwigsburg...

Overall, the hotel and my room were very clean. The lady on reception was friendly and very helpful. The wifi worked well. The sheets and towels were spotless and of good quality. These were the good points. These were all negated, however, by the fact that I was given a smoking room. I asked to change my room but was told no alternative was available. The smell was awful. I found myself feeling sick and found it difficult to sleep. I had to leave the window open but this made little difference. I had to hang my clothes in the shower to keep them from smelling. I would have got more sleep if I had slept in my car.

The room was very hot and the climat control wasn't working. So we opened the window. The hotel is accross the train station so the whole night we hear trains, cars and people talking. NEVER AGAIN .....

This hotel satisfied all my basic needs in a budget hotel for a good price, except that the parking fee was much too high: 12.50 euros for one night. This was nearly 1/3 of the rate for the room itself, which defeated the purpose of staying in a budget hotel. Has I known that in advance I would have stayed at one of the other nearby Ibis Budgets that have reasonable parking fees (e.g., Stuttgart). Aside from that, the hotel was easy to find, clean, quiet, and secure, and there was an interesting palace nearby that was worth a quick visit. Also, unlike many other hotels, this one actually had plenty of electric outlets in the room.

The room was minimal, clean and comfortable. Sadly, the reception was not particularly helpful. Hotel parking is seriously expensive proportionally to cost of the room; for the benefit of future guests, please note that (free) on-street parking was easily available only 2 minutes walk away, but the receptionist was not permitted to tell us this.
