This Hotel ticks all the boxes, it is in a great CBD location, has a very comfortable bed, very good food options and the staff are helpful and very attentive! The room is in a typical Ibis styles design, bright, modern and well appointed, without being over the top. I can recommend this hotel to any traveler who wants a great room at a great price!
Returned ti my favourite hotel in Brisbane. Fabulous staff, excellent location. Great River Views. Easy transport access & colour & character on every floor. Laundry of level one is always helpful Always a pleasure.
We stayed at this great hotel for the first time. Normally we stay at the Sofitel but decided to try something new. As platinum members we were upgraded to a beautiful corner room with ceiling to floor windows all round and views of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a short walk to the centre. Great value for what we paid and we'll definitely stay here again
My wife and I recently spent a few days at ibis styles brisbane. We had a river view room, which was very nice. Through room was spotless with a very comfortable bed, and a very good bathroom. We thought the location was perfect. Would stay again.
I returned to Brisbane recently and chose again to stay at the Ibis Styles on Elizabeth Street. This is a hidden gem so central and very comfortable - value well above the price paid The buffet breakfast in the sunny and airy dining room on the first floor is a relaxed way to start the day, or for a small fee, you can have a hot breakfast
Disappointing that the hotel does not have its own parking facilities, there is, however, an arrangement in place with an underground car park close to it at a reduced rate. A food court is also near by for quick meals.
Great hotel, excellent location. Service was spot on. The room we had overlooked the river and Southbank. Top view. Room a bit noisy though from Irish Pub next door even though we were on the 24th floor. But no real problems. They didn't go till all hours. Apart from that the restaurant was good and relaxed. Breakfast one of the nicest for a hotel breakfast have had for a while. Would recommend
The staff at Ibis Styles Brisbane are amazing and always so welcoming. The hotel is in a conveniently location in the CBD with very easy access from the major roads. Look forward to staying here again in the future.
Great location right in the CBD however this means there is no area available for unpacking luggage. Car-parking is in the shopping centre next door with no direct access to the hotel which means we had to drag all of our luggage through the shopping centre and out into the street to get to the hotel. 'Parking here can be a bit stressful" was the response from reception. We weren't advised on check-in of the credit card 'holding' fee or that the room cost was also going to be added to this; on check-out we used a different card to pay for parking and the room cost was also added to this (without this being explained) - so I have now paid twice and it will take up to 10 days to have the original amount & holding fee refunded. The view of the street and river were lovely at night until the building across the street turned on it's massive panel of decorative flashing lights which the curtains weren't successful in blocking out. We ate in the restaurant for dinner & breakfast, the food was ok and the service left a bit to be desired. Be aware to check that if you have a bed & breakfast booking that this only included continental breakfast and you will need to pay extra to upgrade to a hot breakfast. We were one of many that were caught out by this. We have stayed at a number of Ibis hotels and they are generally great value for money, but we were not at all impressed by our stay at this particular Ibis Styles. The décor & styling look great throughout the hotel, however the customer service and accessibility were a big let down.
Ibis Styles is a great place to stay in Brisbane. The location is perfect for getting to see Brisbane, both central and Southbank. The hotel is perfect for a fun stay. The decor is bright and it makes you feel like your holiday has started the minute you walk through the door! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Location is fantastic!! Hotel is great..would def stay there again.its clean and am blown away by how close it is to the mall..well literally right in CBD. Room is clean with comfy bed.Service is great.
The hotel is located at a convenient location beside a shopping centre and bus depot. We chose the river view room and it was a good choice, as the view was great. We were able to walk to the museum, the city botanical garden, the Queen Street pedestrian mall, two shopping centres, etc. We sampled the many eateries nearby but also took a bus from the bus depot to Sunnybank to try out many Asian restaurants. We stayed at few Ibis Styles hotel before, and Brisbane Ibis Styles is one of the better one, in terms of room size and decor. Happy travel.
We stayed here recently. The location was great being right in the city, the rooms were nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. The only downfall was that we booked the weekend that city to south was on and therefore, the loud music started outside the motel at 7am - Not sure if this reason was why the room was so cheap. But obviously that's not the Ibis' fault. Definitely great value.
Not a good place to stay. Very poor service. We were supplied with ONE tube of Soap, Shampoo and conditioner for the two of us. No face tissue was supplied. Coffee, tea, sugar were not replenished had to ask reception to provide.
Ibis Styles Brisbane is a stand out hotel in my view. The hotel is new, rooms are very functional, clean and fresh, and true to the Ibis brand, not huge. What makes a real difference is the way the staff make you feel welcome. I love the smell when I first walk into the foyer. I was lucky enough to have a room on the 23 rd floor, over looking the Treasury casino and out over to South Bank. Parking was easy at the Myer center car park next door, and access to the Queen street mall and eating venue was magic. I would highly commend the Ibis style Brisbane for business or pleasure, for location, quality and price. I first experienced Ibis Styles in Japan last year while on holiday and was keen to try the Brisbane hotel, I wasn't disappoint, top marks.
Great hotel, loved the decor, real bright inspiring and inviting. Was really impressed and grateful for the late checkout, wasn't expecting this late. Had dinner inhouse restaurant and was disappointed, waitress had no idea of food & beverage, seemed to be a backpacker from Brazil (which is fine, but wasn't capable of serving customers). Room 2612 was amazing - great views to wake up to.
I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. On the second day..the room was not serviced. In the morning when the housekeeping lady came I told her to come back as I was not ready but when I came back at around 7 pm the room was completely the same as when I left it in the morning..towels are not changed althought I put them on the floor to indicate that I want new towels. I then rang reception to request houseleeping to service the room but was putting on hold for about 4 minutes. I then hang up and decided to come down to the reception and talk to the hotel staff in person. I then told the reception staff that my room is not being cleaned by the housekeeping and he asked me if I put DND sign on the door and I said no... He told me that the housekeeping team has gone for the day and he said that he can not do anything with the room. I simply didn't accept this and insisted that the room should be cleaned. He answered me by giving a question "what do you mean that your room need to be cleaned"..? (Very stupid question). At this point I am becoming iritated then I asked him back if this hotel standard is to have the room serviced on a daily basis..and he said yes...well my room is not being serviced and you better get someone to do it. And after I insisted then he said yes that he will get someone to service the room. Why couldn't he do it when I asked from the 1st time ?? Why wait until I am angry and insistent wuth my request? Man power resouce is always a problem in a hotel like this level in Australia..maybe because labour cost is too expensive. Having a guest waited and hold the phone for 4 minutes is totally unacceptable. I understand that you could be busy at certain time but obviously you were lack of man power. When I went down at the reception I saw a female staff gone and left her other 2 male colleagues handling like about 6-7 guests and at the same time also answering the phones which kept ringing (no wonder they put me on hold for 4 minutes and maybe completely forgotten me as they were too busy). The female staff doesn't care if their collegues were busy handling the guest like hell. I understand hee shift maybe finished but I would have stayed for a few more minutes to help my colleagues until at guests are cleared at rhe reception. Not impressed with the management to manage their staff and the service level is poor because of lack of staff. The staff generally are good but it won't work if they have too many things to do at the same time.
Stayed 2 nights for business so didn't spend too much time in the room but it was clean and sufficient for my needs. Hotel facilities provided what I needed with the gym and restaurant and it was great to be close to other restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and efficient.
The corset (open) is too small, only 5 hangers available. The hotel did not state that only continental breakfast was included, guest need to pay extra for hot breakfast. This is the first time I ever encountered, all other hotels will mention that they include continental breakfast if this is really the case.
Stayed there a year ago when brand new. Totally acceptable. Only one year on - not happy. Room service didn't replenish coffee/tea/milk supplies. Restaurant menu changed, and only offering 'plastic' food this time.
