This is a perfect location when staying in the Brisbane CBD with my young son. The staff are professional and always friendly, welcoming and helpful without ever being pretentious. Whilst the rooms are on the small side, the floor to ceiling river views are more than enough to compensate. Besides, I don't go there to sit in my room, although I must say the beds are extremely comfortable and falling asleep watching the glittering lights of the Southbank and the city are part and parcel of the experience. The hotel is extremely well located, adjacent to the Myer Centre, bus terminals and Queen St Mall and just a 3 minute walk across the North Quay Ferry terminal for a free river trip on the regular City Hopper service. Enjoy your stay!
Terrible service I had a major issue and asked to transfer my booking as broke down on my way to the hotel just outside the Gold coast, I asked desperately if I could change my booking and the hotel were totally ignorant of my request and heartless. I will never book again with accor as they are not the type of company I want to be associated with.
Bed was very comfortable. Loved the multi coloured interior decoration. We got breakfast included but didn't realised this was only continental but we could upgrade to the full breakfast for an extra $10 each.
The hotel itself and staff was great with the exception of the Asst. Manager on duty when I checked in. He was very curt and unprofessional when speaking to me. I am an elderly woman who questioned hotel charges that were made on my credit card thru Booking.com prior to my arrival to the hotel. The gentleman was rude and dismissive to me and gave a strong impression he did not want to speak to me let alone assist me.
All staff were friendly and very helpful. We were so pleasantly surprised as we entered our room. Fresh, fun, cosy, bright will amazing corner room views. Floor to ceiling glass..awesome. Breakfast was top notch. Comfortable bed. We will be back.
For someone who suffers from OCD, has travelled at length at several overseas destinations & encountered bed buds at several locations & bedding never changed for new Clients, I was elated that my room was immaculate, sheets crisp and clean, hope this continues, is particular cleaner deserves a payrise for her dedication to the job. The reception girl who checked me in was lovely, breakfast delicious.
This hotel is very conveniently located in the CBD just across from the casino and a couple of blocks from the ferry terminal.I was very surprised at how well equipped the room was, despite being pretty small. The bed was very comforatable, aircon worked well and was quiet. The staff were very friendly, efficient and competent. The decor is funky and cool. Breakfast was as good as any hotel breakfast I have had. The restaurant/snack bar has very good but basic food for reasonable prices. Because I am a Le Club member (but only at the Basic level) I was given a free bottle of wine, early checkin, late checkout and 50% off our meals - and we only stayed one night.it was a bargain.
Amazing stay at Ibis Styles! Will definitely stay again for our city trips. Wifi signal was great and the early check in I requested meant we could duck back to our room for small breaks during our various outings. Also asked for a higher level to enjoy the river view and to my surprise we were out on the 26th floor! Loved it!
Great staff knowledge, location was excellent and cleanliness too! Recommend to everyone going to have a great experience in Brisbane, it is near the CBD, has cool stores and activities in the area as well.
Another #Stylish stay at my go to hotel in Brisbane. Great location, fabulous staff, expansive views from the corner rooms. Whether it is for work or pleasure or a combination of the two, it is the place to stay. The lifts have great 'quotes' & the dining room has a great picture from the Michael Douglas movie 'Falling Down' #StayStylish stay Ibis Styles Brisbane
Nice modern hotel in the CBD. Check-in & check-out were quick & easy. The room was nice & modern with good facilities. The included breakfast was good with a decent range although barista coffee was extra. Very good location for Mall & for South Bank. We were attending a performance at Qpac which was only an easy 10 minute walk away. Parking is at the Myer centre car park at a discounted rate. It was a bit of a chore finding the hotel from the car park as there is no signs to follow. There is no direct lift access to the hotel from the car park, but once you work out where the hotel is it is quite easy to find for subsequent visits. Overall a good stay in a nice hotel.
Great location! Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable rooms Great for a shopping and theatre trip. Always feel safe. Very convenient to the Myer centre and the Queen Street mall. Restaurant very relaxed.
Great place to stay so central in Brisbane city great price clean staff very friendly and helpful so easy to drive to from Coffs Harbour Only issue was parking I was recommended to use the Myer Parkinh next door for but it was expensive and to recharge a days rate every time you went in and out so the purpose to having a car would have been lost as I was going to Australia Zoo,so I searched and found Hotel Secure Parking at 140 Elisabeth , much cheaper and I could go in and out as many times I like.
Could have sat and watched the amazing view over the river & south bank all day. Could see down into queen street. Great location and budget hotel. Nice bottle of wine included in stay. Bargain. Travel zoo deal.
Position - Excellent Parking - OK but expensive $39 overnight. Room - Very clean, functional, but smallish. Bed - Excellent king Size Restaurant - Very poor. Food was terrible and room itself was in need of a decent clean. Opinion - Would stay again, but wouldn't eat in the restyarant.
Had an overnight stay here while in Brisbane for the Rugby League World Cup Final. Room and bed were very clean and comfortable, breakfast the next morning was very good too and liked the fact that the gym was always open so managed to fit in 2 sessions
This is not a luxurious hotel, but really practical if you are planning to not spend any time in the hotel. The wifi was excellent in the rooms. The bed was good for sleep, showers had plenty of pressure and bathrooms were in excellent shape. High quality TV and room was quiet. Common areas were practical with minimal comfort.
Although the rooms are small the beds are very comfortable. Shame there are no chairs as such yo sit on and that is the only complaint we had, bathrooms are adequate and clean staff are friendly and appeared well trained especially in Accor practices. Breakfast good dinner ok and if you wanted more you are in the heart of Brisbane with theMyer centre next door and numerous pubs and restaurants very close by.
We were really impressed with this hotel. The staff are outstanding - especially Paul. The view is one of the best in Brisbane, and it is in a terrific position in Elizabeth St. The only possible fault is that the room was very small. No problem for a short stay.
The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and the food in the restaurant was great. But what really lets this hotel down is the terrible internet access. With the top downloading speed of 10mps which you have to pay more for than the standard 5mps, it was simply ridiculously slow. Even within their conferencing area their internet was patchy and slow. When I queried it, they thought it might have something to do with having full occupancy. My argument was that shouldn't matter! If you need to work while you are travelling, then potentially this is not the place for you!
