A good, clean, reasonably priced hotel within easy walking distance of Hamburg's main railway station and the shopping district.
Staff and service are efficient. I would recommend booking breakfast at the hotel, it is buffet style with a large selection. We didn't see anywhere near by the hotel which would have offered an alternative breakfast - so best to eat at the hotel.
We also ate dinner at the hotel - food was reasonably priced and we enjoyed what we ordered.
Rooms have very good double glazing, so you can only hear any external noise once the window is opened. We stayed on the second floor, facing the apartments on Schultzweg.
Hotel has luggage storage which is available for a returnable deposit of 10 euros.
My only niggle was that the rooms do not have any tea or coffee making facilities - I really missed the opportunity to make myself a cup of tea! Hot drinks and soft drinks are expensive in Hamburg and nowhere will provide you with complimentary water at the table - you have to buy still mineral water which is about 5 euros for a 1 litre bottle served at your table.
If I return to Hamburg then I will stay here again.
