A good city centre type Ibis, up to usual standards, easy to get to and in a super location for visiting the cathedral, and very close to lots of restaurants. It's a popular city centre, so parking is expensive wherever you park. Definitely recommended.
Welcoming and friendly reception. Clean and quiet rooms. Comfortable bed linen so welcome after a long day. 10minute walk to the cathedral and plenty of restaurants. Breakfast was included and there was a good spread.
This visit was planned for on route to Switzerland and with the intention of visiting Reims cathedral so this Ibis hotel was ideally situated. We were not over impressed with the local tourist restaurants so we ate in the hotel in the evening. Slightly disappointed because although the service was good my steak was very rare and chewy instead of being medium, as requested.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The car parking was very useful; everything we wanted to visit in Reims was and easy walk from the hotel so it was good to be able to leave the car in a secure car park through our stay. The room was good with comfortable beds and ensuite facilities. Breakfast was also good and staff were all welcoming and helpful. The location was good except that our room overlooked a very busy complex of roads so that we were reluctant to open the window at night because of the noise; consequently it was a bit stuffy. So if possible ask for a room on the other side which looks towards the Cathedral.
Good hotel quality/price. However the internet connection is not as good as expected (better than mercure cathédrale though) Close to the cathedral and downtown. Easy access to highway The breakfast is simple, but acceptable
We have stayed in this hotel many times as the restaurant is open until 21.45 pm so if you arrive late you can still get food. Arrived on Friday 16/12 @ 21.10 to be told the restaurant was shut. The staff were still there but would not serve food even though on the room information it clearly states the restaurant shuts at 21.45! We will not be returning.
Location is excellent, less than 5 minutes from the Cathedral.. Parking is expensive. Rather petty to allow only one of the occupants of a double room a complimentary drink with accor silver card. Other hotels have granted two!
Parking was good and close. Breakfast offered a variety of choices. Room was clean and well appointed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very close to all attractions. Walking distance to cafes and pedestrian walk
Great facility. Clean, crisp room, air conditioner worked well. No frills, except the free breakfast, which was the best and most comprehensive we had in 2 weeks in France. Price was similarly great, better still given its central location and access to city sites and trains.
Value for money, large room, very welcoming staff. On site parking small but convenient, located centrally and ideal for visiting the cathedral. Recommended for a short stay it overnight stop of on alonger trip
Book in advance to save a significant amount of money. We decided to spend a night in Rheims on the way back to the UK. We had two rooms both of which were spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to keep the car in the car park for a couple of hours after check out. Breakfast was abundant and the coffee was good. An excellent stopover only 5 minutes from the Cathedral and main shopping and restaurant area.
My wife and I stayed here on our way back from Italy the day before we arrived at the hotel Igot an e-mail asking if I wanted to speedy check in and also why not book a table in our restaurant I thought I woul wait till we check in when we got there. The following day we checked in and asked to book a table I was told the chef was on holiday for a month and had to find somewhere to eat,we went to our room to relax about an hour later I opened the window and looked out just as a Sheerings bus was pulling up at the hotel and 40+ people got off and checked into the hotel, later that evening my wife and I went out for a meal at the Campinale hotel up the road as we passed our dining room the people from Sheerings were sitting down for a meal when I asked the manager what was happening he could not explain why Sheerings got a meal and we had to go out for ours. The rooms are brigth and clean and breakfast is good do not use the car park at the hotel its 11 euros 20 yards over the road right outside the public car park is 4 euros for 24 hours
This Ibis styles is really an old Ibis spruced up a bit with a poor room layout which does not make good use of the available space The breakfast was ok but nothing more and the tables were not cleared very quickly after previous use The hotel is well positioned with a public car park next to it at a good price. Most things are within walking distance and there is a good transport system for going further afield The Styles we stayed at a few days before in Vienna was much better so Ibis can provide a good hotel
We stayed for one night as part of a longer trip. The hotel was just great, clean and welcoming. The staff were very good, friendly and courteous. We had a meal in the restaurant and again it was really good. The room was clean and we had a good nights sleep. The breakfast offered a good variety and was very fresh. A good stop over
Great budget hotel in excellent location, very convenient for the centre of Reims. Clean, well run; staff are multi-lingual so no issues. Within easy reach of the Channel ports. We've stayed here before, and we'll probably stay there again/
Ideal location for the Cathedral and surrounding buildings. Hotel basic - there could have been a larger selection of meals (for the prepaid meal) it was confusing what was exactly on offer. The staff spoke English.
Booked a nights stay on an advance inflexible rate. Due to a family emergency had no choice but to change my travel plans and asked to change my booking by 6 days. Was willing to pay any difference, but felt as the hotel would not be losing a booking, therefore not losing business that an exception may be able to be made. Was met with absolute refusal to discuss the matter by the hotel manager. I telephoned Accor, who told me their hands were tied without the say so of the hotel manager. Yet again received a flat no from the hotel. The manager of this hotel should be retrained in basic customer service skills, as he was not even polite in his inflexibility! Whilst I understand that the rate I had booked was non flexible, I find in this day and age that at least trying to help the customer should have some bearing on any discussion. I have lived in France for 9 years and am very used to the difference in customer service experienced over here however I find the way I was treated on this occasion unacceptable. I have had to pay for another hotel and I haven't even had my Accor club points credited to my account for the stay I paid for but did not use!
Stayed here for one night. Room was spotless and the bed was very comfortablle. Only down side was the size of the room, which was very snug with hardly any storage facilities at all. Therefore unsuitable for a stay of more than 1 night, 2 at the most.
Location is good - car park opposite is cheaper than the hotel one. Short walk to cathedral etc. We were tired, so ate in hotel, and the food was excellent - and the attentive service. We slept well - room very quiet with good double glazing despite the main road outside.
Easy to locate from the autoroute. Glad there was secure parking but there is also plenty of parking close by. Like the funky refurb. We stayed in a room that was featured in their video. It was a corner room and very spacious. Fab breakfast as always. Staff always friendly. Reims is a lovely city with a real buzz.
