Did not expect such a lovely room as the hotel was only 3 star. Was definitely better than our expectations. Breakfast was included and was probably closer to a 3 star rating. Overall though we had a fantastic time as we traveled from Durham to see xfactor.

Room was compact but clean, bed was comfy. Our window looked out onto the car park and with the window open my partner didn't sleep well as he could hear a low humming noise all night ( fans or something like that) he is, however a light sleeper and it didn't keep me awake. Breakfast was average, not the best we've ever had but certainly not the worst. Staff were very friendly so overall a nice stay and I would stay again but prefer the nearby Travelodge as the rooms are bigger.

This was the first time we have stayed at this hotel and it won't be the last all of the staff very friendly and helpful and with this hotel the breakfast is included in the price and it's very substantial also the pub that is part of the hotel is very good as well with nice food also very friendly staff

I found IBIS customer services was excellent. I arrived at the hotel couple of hours ealier than actual check in time however they still let me checked in. I have to checked out earlier as well to plan my day and I couldn't do it with their help, they kept my luggage in the hotel for all day for me and it was great because I didn't have to carry my suitecase when I was out and about. The staff was very helpful with any questions to asked and one of the staff member even told us the short cut to our destination(Euston train station) from Hotel. I am very pleased with the services I would highly recommend them to stay with Ibis.

Stayed for a tradeshow, wifi is terrible. In 2017, in London, a business location, there is no excuse for bad wifi. Left a package at reception to be collected by DHL. 1 hour later, the same receptionist sent the guy to my room?!? I had to come back down to get the package myself to give it to DHL. Just as well I didn't go back out. Finally, always stay in Ibis, but I don't get the "Styles". The bathroom is worst than standard Ibis or Ibis Budget. Only great thing was the guy who runs the breakfast. Excellent service there.

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting for the NFL. The hotel is a bit out of town but with an Oyster card nothing is difficult to get to as there is a DLR station outside its doors and London is well served by public transport. The room was pleasant and clean there were tea &a coffee making facilities and a very good breakfast with lots of choices was included. We were able to get around easily and when to Wembley for the NFL and to the theatre one night too. The only negatives were, the complimentary water was not replaced and there was a shower curtain (which I don't like).

Great hotel: the Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room clean and facilities good. Very impressed with breakfast, there was a lot of people dining, the staff had the food topped up all the time. The hotel was only 2 minuet walk away from the Excell.

Ibis Styles is situated very close to Excel London, the rooms are compact but very clean and the bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities and good quality shower with hot water, business class hotel so ideal for a stop over of 1 night, I was working at an exhibition. Custom House Pub next door with access through the hotel was excellent, food lovely and piping hot and large portions. Friendly staff. Ibis Styles not to be confused with the Ibis which is next door to the Norvotel opposite the Excel, I found out the hard way and try to check in to the wrong hotel. All in all a good stay, breakfast set up is very strange on 1st Floor, canteen is very long and thin huge queues for the breakfast which was horrible. Although a very good selection of pastries, croissants, juices, coffee machine, buffet cooked breakfast, I ate because hungry but eggs were revolting and scrambled and so white they looked like porridge.

We stayed in the Family Apartment. The ceiling collapsed on my daughter whilst sleeping - luckily she did not suffer any physical injuries. Reception were unhelpful, and as yet still waiting for 'management' to contact me regarding compensation. It shows a complete lack of urgency and ignorance. This is a long term maintenance issue, as there was a water leak on the ceiling tile causing it to get heavy in absorption and eventually collapsing. So this point to poor maintenance standards and risking the lives of guests.

Nice hotel, parking (pay extra) secure and easy to find. Had a little trouble with rooms, 3rd go we had success. Pleasant staff , DLR right outside Corridor noise can be heard clearly in rooms, but not too bad. Noisy aircon unit but functioned well .

Was average and parking way expensive for one night.. thought this should be included in the bill instead of having it separately .. £15 for the night was too much considering we paid for the room already .. our room was too small and the shower so tiny

Modern facility with great value for money. Well mannered and friendly staff. Quick check in with user friendly facilitates. Cash machine and vending machine, bar and dining on site. Clean room with Samsung galaxy Device and Television. Great night peaceful sleep.

This was a great hotel to stay in. It is a 2 minute walk to the DLR Station at Custom house. The only problem we Had with this hotel was that it was a in residential area which looked a bit rough. But in all we had a great wee 4 day stay and enjoyed every minute of it. Oh and the beds where as hard as rock, i like a firm bed but this was like lying on a board.

We stayed here for one night in room 228. the car park is just behind the hotel and for one night it was charged @ 15 pounds. It was very pleasant that the room was already available when we arrived around 10 am. The rooms aren't that large but ok. the bed and extra pillows were comfortable. The airco in our room was dripping which we discovered after a few hours, so the floor was wet and the doorhandle as well. As the door opens with a card (and there was still a card from a previous sleeper on the desk that makes you wander about housekeeping) there must be some electric power so i wasn't keen on opening the door but managed. Turned the airco off and didn't use it further although it was quite warm outside on may the 27th. Breakfast is being served from 06.30 am. breakfast is oke, but we had to wait for a availability of a table. btw: I wouldn't take the coffee, but go for the tea instead. I stayed in both excel Ibis hotels (dockland and this one) the last half year; I would definately take the docklands next time. more value for money excepting it is more expensive. PS: we did not notice staff about the airco as it was late and we wanted to get some sleep.

Stayed 15 May for 3 nights. Booked on the IBIS website following a regular Monday night personal e-mail from the company. Overall excellent value for money for a London Hotel. 10 minute walk from Prince Regent station on the DLR, less walk when Custom House station re-opens late 2017. Room adequate, bathroom a little on the small size. Breakfast good. Only major downside is the hotel is in underground zone 3; we spent forty pounds in four days on the Oyster card each. Pigeons perched outside window early morning but little aircraft noise. Would recommend if you can get a good deal.

The hotel overall very poor. The decor is dated and cheap, and the facilities are absolutely awful. My first room had dirty bed sheets with what can only be described as a stain that might appear after someone had sat on the edge of the bed naked. The bathroom looked like an under the stairs cupboard with a horrid shower cubical and one of the tacky shower curtains from the 1970's. The window was broken so I was awoken at 5am to the flights from City Airport. The air conditioning didn't work so the room was very stuffy. We asked to move to a room whose air conditioning worked and was placed into a second room that was very cramped, which made it very difficult to work at the desk. The bathroom was much better and the window did shut, but again the air conditioning didn't work, staying on for no more than 3 minutes. A hotel service person did try to fix it but actually made it worse. This means that again I had the window open, but this time made it to 05:30 before being woken by the planes. The pub, well, we had one pint in there but there was absolutely no way that any of us were going to eat in there. It was dirty, run down, smelled of grease and had an appalling menu. Luckily, there are some nicer facilities across the bridge. Three of us stayed at this hotel from our company (should have ben 6) and two of us had very poor experiences. We will not be re-booking here when working in the Excel again, despite its location to this venue. This hotel might be suitable for school trips (of which there were several), and backpackers, but really this is just one notch up from a hostel at 5 times the price. My advice, avoid at all costs.

Got room very far from elevator, no upgrade, even they know me a Platinum member, hotel just give welcome drink, not so satisfied with the service from the hotel staff. not feel welcome from the hotel, I think accor need to improve their service for loyalty member Beware of closure of Custom House DLR station, you need walk far to reach the hotel, I think hotel need to post a caution at the website.

We used this hotel as we were going the Grand Designs show at the Excel centre. The hotel is situated well located - a short walk over the bridge . We checked in on the Monday evening and everything was fine. The room was clean and had all the features we needed for a one night stay . The staff were extremely friendly- from the reception staff to the staff in the pub - we had an excellent meal and the waiter was really helpful . The staff in the breakfast room were also very friendly and helpful - it was a good breakfast too . We enjoyed and it was good value

Stayed here as we were attending an exhibition at the London ExCel - perfect location as it was just a short walk to the ExCel. Convenient for the DLR service and fairly good bus service. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The room size was pretty good by London standards. Very good if you are intending to stay more in the East of the city, but is quite a hike to get further out. Will almost certainly be staying again.

Basic does not come close - no baths in hotel - queue out the door for breakfast so paid extra to get breakfast at Excel - would not use again - also felt vulnerable walking back at night from prince regent tube
