I always stay at the Ibis Styles because of the standard of rooms for price, the professional and friendly staff, and the central location for easy access to everywhere else. There is always the personal touch by staff that make you feel that more welcome.
Good location with easy access to both the Airport & Canberra CBD, the property is functional at best. Upgraded to a Superior Room with two Queen Beds, the room had a fair amount of room not functional. Breakfast was included for $1 per day on the Accor Breakfast special. Breakfast variety was adequate. Dinner in house on the last night was somewhat tasty & better than venturing out. A price sensitive property - stay if on special or other Accor properties more expensive. Hopefully the property improves. Has an excellent GM from a very stylish property ! :)
I thought it was a great place to stay and easy access to public transport close to shops and restaurants I would recommend it to other people clean great service friendly staff good food in the restaurant.
I understand the need for accomodation. It might have been a busy weekend for all I know. First of all I booked the right date but a few days later the hotel confirmed the booking, and it shifted a whole day for check in and check out. After some emailing to and fro we got it right. I reckon due to this I got shoved into the basement, a tiny room next to a door that went "KABLANG" all night. The noise was good enough to get an hour shut eye before my out of bed time. Parking would be okay if you find one. On Friday night parking in the street was the closest I could get. At least it was free and I didn't get fined. Check out was easy. I just left the keys in the room and left. I'm yet to receive my $10 for collaterals I was asked to pay at the checkin. Would I recommend this hotel? Probably not. Then again, you might have the luck and booked when it's not as busy and pay less than half what I paid. If that is the case, you'd be fine. I paid premium to get a dump. A clean dump I must add.
the location is nice. room rather small for 5 nember family. clean n nice breakfastbut wish to have more variety choices for longer stay guests. sometines parking is not available. value for money. may consider have ground floor rooms for senior citizen.
Ibis Styles has large comfortable rooms and helpful staff, particularly Ms Alagao at the bar and restaurant. Staff remember you and your preferences and make you feel most welcome. The front office staff were also very helpful
Reasonably priced and comfortable the Ibis Styles in Narrabundah is my preferred place to stay when visiting Canberra. Clean rooms with comfortable beds and nice shower. Breakfast is reasonably priced and the range of options is satisfactory. Close to the restaurants and cafes of Manuka and Griffith and not far from major attractions.
The service at this hotel was good. The position is great for Baseball fans wanting to catch games in Canberra, with Canberra Cavalry and competitors, as the diamond is a short walk away. the pool is nice and there is plenty of parking. My only complaint is that the two bedroom apartment I stayed in smelt awful even though there had been obvious attempts to cover the smell. The room looked clean but there seemed to be a pervasive dampness.
Great location a few minutes drive to all the essentials. Clean and fresh rooms, good restaurant and bar on site and friendly helpful staff. Fantastic value, FREE parking, WIFI and movies and $1 breakfast deal what more could you want.
The service provided by the reception staff member was amazing. The room we booked was not available so we were upgraded. Unfortunately the upgraded room had a shower over a bath which was not do-able for us. We were offered an easy access room at the same rate. Magic
Stinking garbage in an area adjacent to the rooms, so couldn't open patio door or walk to and from the dining room without being hit by the stench. The stairs and hallways were filthy and didn't look like they had been vacuumed in weeks (at least). No light in hallway at night, which made opening the right door into a bit of russian roulette.. First complaint I have ever had about a hotel.
Staff were very understanding and obliging when I had to change my booking at the last minute and leave early. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a welcoming and personal note a lovely touch. Good location also. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you
Excellent value hotel in handy location. Rooms were a little tired, but very clean and quite roomy. Our price included $1 breakfasts and free wi-fi, internet, movies, games. Highly recommended. Suggest you book direct.
Hotel was understaffed, resulting in long waits and poor service. Rooms needed a refurbishment, the beds were uncomfortable and had aged to the point all 3 in our room were on an angle. Only positive experience was the extent and meaningful way we were greeted as Accor members. I would not stay at this property again.
We have stayed at the Ibis Styles Canberra annually to attend the Canberra Highland Gathering. It is a handy location to drive to the Kambah oval and then at night to a local restaurant in Narrabundah for a Clan dinner.
Nice touch with the welcome drink. Even though the bar was closed at the time, the staff still made it for us. Room is not too big, but clean and cozy. Good for a family with 2 or 3 kids. A little crowded at car park at a busy season. But can use steet parking.
Staying one night with family. Nice bed and great service provided. Staff were very helpful. Good size room for a family of four. Complete with Smart TV which has great varieties of channel to choose. Overall enjoying the stay.
An expensive hotel that offers no service, rooms in a concrete bunker, breakfast served in a “mess hall”, with a guarantee of the previous occupants mess remaining in your room. Don’t be conned - there is no room service, no “24 hr” service, and a very limited hotel. Never again!
Ground floor, old single room. Initially, it has a connecting room which has lot of noise and small TV which is not working after request , the room is changed but still on ground floor, 2 star standard.
Both nights it was luck that we got a car park. There was a small red back spider on the back of the bathroom door, the base of the shower/bath had not been cleaned which was evident by the black dirt ring around the shower end of the bath. The toilet seat was cracked. The sleep areas were fine and beds/linen were great. The restaurant was good as there is no other places to eat in walking distance.
