I will be honest - I only booked here because a lot of accomodation in Leuven itself was already booked and I was not per se looking forward to staying in a hotel just off the motorway. But my expectations were so wrong! The hotel itself is not a standard and although has the basis same rooms as any ibis hotel, the room is bigger than I have been used to from Ibis. The staff was really friendly and helpful. No noise from the motorway coming through. The Breakfast in the seperate restaurant was good enough, with great coffee. At 75 per room per night, great value for money, with free parking. What we also found is that is was an easy place to explore the area from, hop in the car and you are in Leuven, or Brussels or Aarschot - we really had a great stay!

This is a very reasonable hotel with comfortable beds! But it is difficult to find if you don't know where to look. Its located at a service station on the east side of Brussels which means that staying there you can escape the morning traffic. Turn into the service station just near Leuven - you have to drive up to the petrol pumps but turn right just before them and take a little road out of the back of the service area - it is marked "Hotel". Then onto the main road - turn right over a bridge and then right down another small road which takes you on to the other side of the motorway.

My wife and I spent 2 weeks traveling through Europe with no itinerary or plans. The Ibis Hotel chain was our backup plan for any nights we could not find a cozy little B&B tucked away in some romantic spot. We chose this location for it's easy access from the main highway. This was merely a pit stop on our journey. The hotel is located in a highway service location with easy on/off access. No need to exit the highway and travel in to a city. Once again Ibis Hotels provided a fair price, consistency in good service, clean rooms and not to be forgotten . . . . their great staff.

The hotel is quite new and a bt different from other Ibis we have stayed in. The hotel and staff were great, extra pillows etc not a problem. Not a fan however of having to go to the motorway services for breakfast which was not up to the usual Ibis standard.

To stay at this hotel, due to its location, you need to be by car. The hotel is recent and not too big. Quiet in spite of its location along the motorway. Rooms are bigger than the average Ibis size and very clean. Friendly reception with a choice of beverage on sale. The hotel is linked with the shops and self-service of the nearby petrol station, which gives you the possibility of having a snack, drink or whatever at any time. Worth staying, a good discovery

I have used it in the weekend. Although it was very low cost, the cleanliness and quality was very good in spite of that. The hotel is located inside the parking place of the high-way. Good to stay for over night.

Stayed here as a half-way point on my Euro road journey. Was only there six hours, but lovely comfortable beds made the trip more bearable. Location was perfect for what I needed. Good value for money.

This hotel is ideal for the traveller. When entering the service area northbound you have to take a service road back over the E40 that I feel should be better signposted. Everything else was good value for the price

Personally I don't like hotels in the motorway. I can understand that somebody can find them comfortable for in-between stops, just to spend the night. It's not my case, being for the the opportunity to have a break from the travelling tireness. This hotel definitely is architecturally good-looking but it's actually part of a rest/tank station on the motorway connecting Bruxelles to Liege, with possibility of accessing also from outside. Very wide, smart and comfortable rooms, newly and stylish furnished. Personnel is looking quite detached, not so expansive. Ok! But the disappointment came when the discussion fell on the eating issue: the nearby restaurant closes at 21:00; if you arrive later (as I did) the nearest possibility is at 15 minutes driving away (which was closing at 22:00 actually). Breakfast was actually in the bar of the tank/station and relaying point. Not exactly that enthusiastic!

Excellent place to stay as an en-route stopover but do not buy their 14 euro breakfast in advance. It is served in the motorway service area restaurant (which is clean and pleasant). You have to pile everything you want on to a tray at one visit to the buffet and pay at the till with a voucher and get your coffee out of a vending machine with a token. Not up to normal Ibis standards. Better off just buying and paying for a coffee and croissant on the day.

This used to be an expensive but grotty hotel that we only used because of its closeness to the motorway. Ibis has totally transformed it. Rooms are clean and comfortable and its really good value for money. The only one negative is that coming from Brussels it is difficult to find - and almost impossible with a sat nav, You have to turn off the road at the Heverlee service station and find a small service road out of the back of the complex over to the other side of the motorway. For your first visit make sure to take their phone number with you!!

I have stayed at this hotel a few times recently, and find that the heating system does not cope adequately during cold winter periods, even when thermostat is adjusted to maximum. Otherwise no complaints, although the lack of heating in the room is serious.

This was the newest Ibis I have stayed in, and what a treat! Not at all 'tired' or dated! Although right next to the Motorway this is the QUIETIST hotel I have ever been in......didn't hear a thing from the road......a great sleep. It is a basic room with no frills as expected (no mini bar, kettle, hairdryer available at reception if you need one!). But if this is all you need I would highly recommend it. Very easy to get to from both the main road and from local roads :-) There is a motorway type shop/restaurante but do not be fooled - it serves great fresh foods cooked to order, so don't be put off by this. The food is a little pricey but that's normal! Overall a place I will certainly visit again when I am in the area.
