Very good location, huge room, bathroom and bed. Good breakfast with surprising fresh orange jouce. Coffe and tea avalilable 24h in the hall. Excellent reception service. Charger for various phones at the reception!
It was really a great experience at this hotel. The room was spacious. We travelled with a pushchair. Unfortunately the lift was small and it was very difficult for us to place it inside. I would suggest that the hotel closes off the courtyard, even with something transparent as for those living in the first floor have to go out in the cold or possibly even in the rain. I don't want that these two point impact the overall rating of our stay. It was really great experience as both us the children enjoyed the stay in the hotel. Even the breakfast it was value for money.
Rhe visit was for Christmas shopping in the renowned Toulouse Christmas Market. We travelled by train. The hotel is opposite the Railway station - a 15 minute walk from La Capitole, where the market was - so hardly 'centre ville'., but with easy , mostly step-free access using the Métro But our first use of Ibis Styles was a happy one, a refreshing change from the standard Ibis.
We booked 2 rooms. Family room very spacious, clean and comfortable. Double room good, bed comfortable. Location very good very close to main station. Metro/Tram to airport cost 1.20 euro. Breakfast was good continental. Staff very friendly. Left luggage all day as flight was late night.
The hotel looks very much like youth hostel, very small bathroom and the floor was dancing a bit. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast with fresh orange juice and good coffee made things much better. The price / quality is therefore to my opinion not more than "average".
staff was very helpful.rooms are small . breakfast is good. location of the hotel is very good as it's so close to airport bus, train station and downtown. the hotel has a very good value for money.recommend it.
For years we have stayed at many Ibis hotels in France and Spain. We enjoy the consistency of their service motto, economy, and comfort of their rooms without unnecessary perks. However, I must say this was the best experienced we have had. The Ibis officer at the lobby, Diana, welcomed us with the courtesy of special guests, and was willing to speak English, French, or Spanish for us. She went out of her way to show us the best sites to visit in Toulouse, with many tips and suggestions. Out of her own initiative, she gave us tourist maps and marked the best places to enjoy authentic Toulousan cuisine that fitted our budget. Several times she asked us how was the room and how she could be of further assistance. This is the first time that we stayed at an Ibis Styles. Unlike the regular Ibis, their motto is service, breakfast included, and snack at night. The great surprise is that the "snack" was a selection of wines, sausages, and cracker, all offered with an ambiance to encourage mingling wit other guests. We met people traveling on business and pleasure and enjoyed a nice time exchanging their stories. Lastly, this hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station, the bus station (with a shuttle to the airport), and the main tourist attractions inf the historic center. I highly recommend this hotel.
People who receive my son and I were very professional. Here is a little story describing this point : During our stay, the days were rainy. I forgot my umbrella at home. They drove me to a store close to the hostel with cheap umbrellas.
My first stay in this hotel was an absolute pleasure! From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly & helpful. The room was a decent size for a twin room. It was very clean and the room had a separate toilet as well as an en-suite bathroom. Good air-conditioning was very welcome. The hotel provided cheese & wine every evening in the reception area as well as the free coffee & water. The hotel is ultra-convenient for the station and coach station.
We needed an overnight hotel between arriving at Blagnac and catching the train to the Pyrenees the next day, and used the same hotel on the way back. Perfect solution.... Easy to reach via a tram and metro from Toulouse Blagnac airport. Matabieau Station across the street. Plenty restaurants close by (We enjoyed the Compagnie Francaise). Very helpful staff. Mohamed welcomed us with a big smile, he made our day. Beds very comfortable. Good coffee. Price/quality unbeatable. They kept our luggage in the"bagagerie", very convenient. We will use again.
Well up to Ibis standards; good sized room; small breakfast area which could be a problem when demand is high; very friendly staff. Cheese, paté and wine available one evening with the good tea/coffee.
Nicely located, opposite train station, friendly staff and rooms are good size. Breakfast is also very nice. Only 15 minutes for the Capitole and central Toulouse. Would recommend if you are travelling with Family
I stayed on my own. Paid for a double room but given a room set up for one. Receptionist rude and charged for a double. Second time there was a group of 20 and I shared a room once again set up for one. One towel, one bottle of water etc. lift broken.
Facilities in the hotel are very family focussed . Room are clean and a good size for families. Only problem is if you arrive by car, because of the location it is difficult to find somewhere close to the hotel to park, safely.
Hotel is Nice and in a good position, just in front of the train station and within walking distance from the city centre, by the way Tolouse is not that big. good value for the money spent. Room are Ok, i was expecting some more availability of product in the toilette anyway OK.
Pros: - Opposite to SNCF station - Free wifi works - Room is big in ibis category, 1 queen & 1 single beds in a triple room - Continental buffet breakfast with ham, bread, fruit, fresh brew coffee, yogurt Cons: - Separated bathroom & toilet - Ages & small lift
Situated close to the station and a short walk to the town center, but quiet at night- The room was spacious with very comfortable beds and a good airconditioning. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast breakfast was tasty. I can highly recommend it.
Only light was window/glazed door onto access walkway in courtyard. Could not turn around in the wc, which was smaller than a cupboard. A/C 1 night and wc 2nd night not working. Can't believe+reviews.
The IBIS styles is ideally situated opposite Toulouse Matabiau railway station, along with a few other hotels. I was arriving & departing by train so it suited me, however it seems to be a fair walk from the main tourist attractions. The hotel seems to be an old house with a central courtyard which has been converted into an hotel. As a result the sound proofing leaves a bit to be desired. I could hear the people in the room on the opposite side of the corridor, which took a knock on their door to sort out. I was told when I checked in that breakfast was at 06.00, as I had a train to catch at 06.45 I went for breakfast at 06.10 only to find that it had not been set up & I had to get the receptionist to set up breakfast. As a result I had to hurry & ended up taking some with me. Not what I expect from an IBIS styles. On the plus side there is free tea & coffee in the reception area 24hrs & free wifi in the rooms.
Our room was on the fourth floor at the front of the hotel. Thankfully there is a lift. We found that there was no noise from outside where there was a lock on the canal underneath our window and the railway station opposite. The room was sufficiently large to move around and the en suite was good. Breakfast was a cold buffet with bread, cold meat and cheese as well as yogurt and jam. The nearest car park is across the road at the station.
