The hotel is really small, but the rooms are actually quite ok, most importantly clean (the decoration is rather odd though). They somehow managed to squeeze some breakfast area in the lobby - breakfast is nothing special but not bad at all (although the place easily gets crowded). The bar area is in fact a little fridge right there in the lobby - but then again who needs anything else in central Paris anyway. The area is very lively but we weren’t disturbed in any way by the noise during the night.
Even the Manager of the hotel was CHARMANTE, I will never forget the cold of my little room. Breakfast excellent, but ... cold... Cold... And tey explained to me that all the radiators are... "decorative"... Chic and Shock... I will never return at this hotel...
Location is very good being close to multiple restaurants; bars and the metro system. Downside is breakfast area is way too small for the number of diners making it an awkward experience. In addition there was no kettle in the room and at some times no hot drinks available in the reception area.. that for us was an issue.
it is unfair to mark the hotel and brand down because of the action of some staff, but within half an hour of checking in, my wallet had all the paper money removed whilst it was locked in my room and my wife and I were getting a drink in reception. The thief had time to remove the wallet from my bag, sear it, remove only the cash, and put everything back so I would not notice, had I not decided to onky take some out with me, i would not have been able to identify when it had been taken - there is no doubt as the money was there before we left the room. the receptionist was on the phone all the time we were in reception, I assume it was to alert his accomplice of our impending return I was robbed of all my cash 130 eur. otherwise, the hotel was clean, tidy and accessible, staff were friendly despite the dishonesty. the receptionist did not seam surprised, perturbed or apologetic about the theft. The manager stated that there was only myself and the receptionist in the hotel at the time this is not true as there were others checkid in at the same time as me, there were 2 receptionists, and others hovering in reception. keep all valuables securely on your person your hotel room is not safe
Nice hotel, warm and stylish with clean rooms and quality breakfast for a limited variety of choices, metro station only within 2 minutes walking. Carpet outside rooms was dirty but inside rooms just fine
Location near metro was very good. Reception was small but the people were very friendly and helpfull. Near the hotel lots of restaurants, again a good location. Breakfast was simple, I missed the confiture, but it was enough fto start the day.
We chose this Ibis because not knowing Paris I had heard of Montmatre so I thought it was ideally located. It was but this location on the street was not the best. However once inside the hotel it changed the managers spoke english & were obliging, helpful. Our room whilst small was clean the bathroom a good size & the bed comfortable. as Australians like their cups of tea or coffee when they book in so in the lobby is always tea & coffee. breakfast isn't spectacular but more than adequate to charge you up for a day of Parisian touring. I recommend this hotel
The hotel with an excellent guests service. Great location - less than 2 minutes to Pigalle metro station. All the employees were very helpful and kind. Freshly baked products are served on breakfasts. Very clean and well designed.
This Hotel is conveniently place just south of the pigalle Metro station. It has small but comfortable rooms. The breakfast is good with freshly squeezed orange juice and a good selection of teas and coffees. It is also possible to get free tea and coffee during your stay at the reception area.
The staff was very friendly and answered all our queries patiently and gave us good tips on things to see and do over the weekend. If you're looking for a cheap, clean place to stay near a metro station then this IBIS should be on your shortlist. I've rated this 5/5 stars considering the price paid and comparing it with the other properties I've stayed in Paris in the past.
Just a note to say that on booking a taxi for early morning transfer to airport the hotel staff asked for Euro 15 deposit to be deducted from the fare. The taxi driver was not aware of this and asked for the full amount which I paid. Before reaching home I had email from hotel apologizing and crediting the 15 Euro to my card account. this was good.
Ibis Styles Paris Pigalle Montmartre is well-positioned literally a two minute walk from Pigalle station. This was the third time that I have stayed there. It is in a dynamic area (OK, it is sort of a red light district) but has an enthusiastic and vibrant night life. There are plenty of great restaurants and bars around - take a walk through the narrow streets in the North side of the station. One of my previous stays was with my wife and she loved the area - particularly the proximity to the arty Montmartre area. The hotel is clean and well-kept and staff are friendly and helpful. The only minor negatives are that the breakfast area is a bit cramped and if you have a street-facing room then the Friday and Saturday nights may be a bit noisy for some people (it doesn't bother me).
The Ibis Styles Paris Pigalle is located in a more local area (internal) of Paris. And right next to a metro station, which is very good, 5 minutes walk from the "Moulin Rouge" and several bistros with good quality. You can get going to the Lafayette Gallery, it takes 20 minutes. Regarding the hotel, I found the room very, very small, there are no safe in the room. At the reception desk, besides not having a bar / restaurant does not have an automatic machine for drinks and snacks, only a tiny refrigerator to meet throughout the hotel.I did not like the breakfast, bad.
It is well located and the hotel is nice, but there is no lounge and when you get in the hotel, it seems you are in someone's home... and you were not invited! I couldn't feel welcome at all. It's low standard for Ibis Styles and I would recommend a different hotel.
It's in no distance to Pigalle metro station and 5 minutes to Moulin Rouge. They offer free drinks 24/7 (tea and coffee). If you like to be near Montmartre, and mostly out of the hotel, this is the place. The breakfast is very simple but again, in a super small serving area.
The bedroom was small but it was just for sleeping anyway as we were all about Paris everyday. The bathroom was bigger then I expected while the shower was spacious, the water pressure was super and the water was always hot. A hotel well worth it's value
Ideally located near Pigalle metro (5 min walk). Sacre Coeur 15 min walk. Moulin Rouge 7 min walk. LOts of cafes in the area. Hotel was newly decorated in the reception, breakfast area. Breakfast counter tiny and not very well laid out, not much inconvenience but if someone was making a hot drink you couldn't reach half the breakfast available as not enough room. Room was for 4, 2 adults and 9 and 11 year old. Double bed and 2 single sofa/put up beds. Loved the fact you could make a cup of tea in reception whenever you wanted, so after a long day out we could grab a cuppa to take to the hotel room. Would return, car park 5 min walk.
I would ignore the fact that room feels very unhygienic contrary to normal IBIS standards and the Manager was arrogant from the beginning. Whats appalling is that my Omega watch worth USD 2,000 and cash worth USD 250 has been stolen from my hotel room after damaging my bag worth USD 250. I had locked the items in my bag as directed by the manager of the hotel when I checked in and was told there was no safe. She reaffirmed to me that the room was safe. I asked for the police to be called and the manager asked me to go walking to the station. The police are telling me I should have called and I did suggest this to the hotel manager. I have filed a complaint at the police station, however I need this to be cleared as soon as possible. Also, I was charged thrce for the room. Once when I checked in online and second time when I checked in at the hotel and lastly when I processed my checkout. The manager didn't want to understand and she wouldn't refund. The manager told me she will email me the list of people who have accessed the room and this has not been emailed yet. I have raised these issues with Accor hotels and am waiting for inputs from them. I need to be compensated for the damage caused while in the locked premises of the hotel.
it was a small hotel but nice and confort; the room was small but clean. The breakfast was good; the staff was very helpful. Good location, with a metro station nearby and very near to the Moulin Rouge and Montmatre.
Have been there for three nights. Pros: The hotel is perfectly located, less than 100 meters away from metro station Pigalle. Therefore it´s a perfect starting or ending point for trips to and from Montmartre/Sacre Coeur and Moulin Rouge (which is only one metro station further away). The staff members all have been very nice and helpful. Next to the reception there´s 24 hour supply of coffee, tea and water for free. Room and bathroom are well kept and clean. The breakfast offers feshly squeezed orange juice, ham, nutella, honey, cheese, cereals, bread and croissants, choice of different coffees and hot chocolate. Cons: The rooms are very small, even for Paris. It´s difficult to open a normal suitcase, if you don´t want to put it on the bed. Rather use a trolley than a suitcase. At night you can hear a little bit the rumbling of the metro All in all this hotel can be recommended for a short trip to Paris. The size of the room doesn´t matter if you are exploring Paris all day/night long.
