Location is good, bus/metro within walking distance. Room was bigger as compared to other ibis Styles hotel I stayed the earlier week however shower was very small. Climate control was not working. Very poor sound proofing, one can hear every noise from other rooms, lobby and lift movement. Breakfast was good. Tea/Coffee and mineral water available in the lobby near reception. It would be nice to have it in the room or at least an electric kettle. WiFi was OK. Taking into account all the aspects, ibis Styles hotel are over priced.

I opted to taxi to the hotel from Montparnasse -- Fare was only 7€. It is only 1 km away but needed if you're hauling luggage. I am an Ibis fan in general and this Ibis Styles was right in there with all things good that I love about Ibis from the room itself (whistlestop clean) to the staff (totally great service in every moment). The hotel is in a great neighborhood that is exceptionally quiet for Paris! Boucheries-charcuteries, boulangeries, cafés, and more than anything? Off the main tourist streets. Normal Parisian life. Found a GREAT restaurant a block away -- Le Petit Baigneur -- GO IF YOU CAN!! I will return whenever necessary for a layover walkabout visit. Thank you!

Small but clean hotel. The elevator is tight. The breakfast was rich, very nice and fresh. We enjoyed it. The Tea and coffee area is small but not bad. It was a little bit cold. The value for money is good.

No courtesy at all at the front desk. Room are very small and bathroom even smaller. I had been to airplane toilets more comfortable than the one at Ibis Montparnasse. Location is the only good thing but not it is not in a top location.

Space in inner Paris is at a premium and hotel rooms often very small. This one not too bad - good bed and other facilities, though the shower is designed for smaller people. Good breakfast and excellent staff - so, overall, this one is a pass.

Good value stay when you throw in the free breakfast. Family room a bit smaller than previous Ibis Styles but functional all the same. Staff friendly and only a short walk to Pernety Metro station. Would reccommend.

The hotel is on the standard for Ibis Styles, that is, a decent 3-star, with all services included. No frills, but comfortable and quiet. Too bad that it's close to no metro stop; the closest is Pernety, but it's a secondary stop on line 13, and at least 5 minutes away on foot. Montparnasse train station is a good 15 minutes walk. Finally, I didn't like at all the design of the bathroom. A couple touches would have been enough: substitute the old-fashioned bathtub with a shower enclosure, recovering some space in a minuscule room and avoiding water spillage; in the extra space, provide a standard-size washbasin - the one there is is almost insufficient to wash hands in.

We thought this might be an improvement on Ibis generally but the rooms though having all the requisite bits and pieces were terribly small. Barely enough room to get the bags in. Ground floor room facing street felt like a prison with iron bars over the windows. Breakfast was pretty slim by 8am as well.

Service at reception was excellent. The room was simply too small for two people. One had to turn sideways to enter the shower. The self service breakfast was also very compact with little space if more than 8 people arrived at the same time. Hotel on a quite street, 10 minutes walk from Metro and lots of good reasonably priced restaurants in the area.

I stayed here for 10 nights. The place where I had breakfast, did not have enough space to seat. The dishes were dirty.I could heard noises easily from other rooms next to mine but staffs were very kind and polite.

Clean rooms, however I have been initially given the smallest room I ever seen, so small I didn't have enough room to open my suitcase... and right near to the elevator so the noise wouldn't stop... The showers were also leaking and flooding the bathrooms

The room was nice and clean, but too small. There was a tiny shower. However the room was well equipped and a gift (chocolate and water) was waiting us :) The reception was very nice and the breakfast, good and generous

In a quiet untouristy corner of Paris within walking distance of the Metro. Bars and a good restaurant only one block away. Rooms are clean if a little on the compact side. Very comfortable bed. Good value for money.

The hotel is small and nice. room very clean but small the bad great. There was a problem with the door in the shower and water on the floor every time we showerd. We told the stuff but they didnt fix it. The safe in the room didnt work too. Also the breakfest was much smaller than we expected from ibis hotel no eggs for our entire stay. The free wifi included in the price did not exit in the room and we had to use it from the hall or the loby wich is very inconvinient.on our last day we needed a luggage room but they didnt have a room so they put our luggage in the front desk next too them. Its not very good. The staff was polite and nice but as you can see there was some problems wich effected our satisfaction from the hotel.

Within walking distance of Montparnasse train station (15 min walk), this hotel was located close to my meeting place. It is also conveniently reached by RER via Denfert-Rochereau station, provided you change to line 4 and walk from Alesia (15 min as well). The room is simple and brightly colored. There is no extra furniture (no wall clock nor cupboard/cabinet for clothes) but there are hangers for shirts or coats. The bathroom is new (though the shower is a bit tight) and has hair dryer, soap and shampoo. The included continental breakfast is good : viennoiseries, several kind of breads, cereals, fresh fruits, fruit juice, yoghurt including plain, ham and cheese. The wireless internet tends to suffer from congestion at night in the hotel room floors, but it works correctly at the lobby floor, which also includes a freely available PC. Price is cheap for the area. You can find cheaper, but it would be without breakfast or with rooms in worse condition.

If you are looking for a place to leave your luggage and have a fine breakfast, this hotel may be your choice. It is 10 min walking from underground, but, after 0:00 it is quite weird to walk around. If you are going during the summer, be prepaired to sleep without air conditioning or any fan... if I wasn't so tired to sleep easily, it would be a nightmare!! My room was for 2, but It was so tiny that me and my friend almost could not open our luggages at the same. And the shower... OMG!! Sooo tiny, that I could not wash my feet without closing the tap... Well, it was just for 5 days and I was on vacation with friends. If it was a trip with my boyfriend, I would absolutelly change hotel.

The customer service is preferrable and acceptable as well as cleanness. Besides, the hotel should equip the aircon because during summer, the temperature seems hot in which Asia people not wish to see. Best,

We are a family of 4; 2 adults and 2 children, stayed 1 night at Ibis styles Montoanasse and were not happy with the stay. The room was tiny, and by 'tiny' i mean extremely and uncomfortably small. The kids slept on a sofa bed that when open you cant actually walk around the bed; only one side of the bed is open to the bathroom area. neither room door can open. While the ceiling was un-usually low (i am less than 6' and when I extend my arm i am touching the ceiling with the palm of my hand). One side of the adult bed had a low sloped ceiling; you will have to bend while walking along the bed in that side or will hit your head (imagine the bathroom visit at night). The bathroom door opens at 45 degrees max since it hits the sink at that point, you will have to open the door, then squeeze in bathroom then close the door in order to be able to stand in front of the sink. The bathroom smelled sewage. Breakfast is ok, staff dont speak english. When my wife asked the lady serving breakfast if food contains or came in contact with peanuts for allergy reasons, the question went from her to the other lady who was sitting close by to front desk (yelling no phone) and got no answer from anyone whatsoever. Few days earlier we stayed at another ibis styles juan les pins, and the receptionist called the supplier and got the answer in a few minutes. Though they are both ibis styles, but the juan les pins hotel was at least 10 times better, cleaner, helpful. Location:it is 10-15 minute walk to metro oh, and the stairs door knob is left broken in the door on level 5; just to show how much they care. I have photos of all what I mentioned above and will attach if needed. Bottom line: if you are willing to sacrifice comfort, convenience and service, and looking for a place to crash then this is the place for you

In a very pleasant location not far from Gare Montparnasse. There are good value bistros, small parks and an art gallery in nearby streets. The staff in the hotel were helpful. The room was not very big, but was ideal for a short stay in Paris. The service was swift and efficient.

This is a small Ibis Styles and as expected didn't provide much more than just a place to sleep during a business trip. My 5th floor attic room was pleasant but lacking (no wardrobe or cupboards). The bathroom was a tiny 1metre by 2metre, including a walk-in shower, so I had to go into the bedroom to dry off with towel. The lift was slow and for 2 "normal" sized people. The breakfast, like many hotels, was unpacked, you know square, flat cheese, compressed flat "ham", yoghurts, pastries etc. Unexciting but there are so many like this to choose from, this is no better or worse than many hotels in Paris. I have stayed in many during the last few months. Found an excellent, old-style restaurant close by which saved the visit - called Le Petit Baigneur, worth a visit.
