We stayed for two nights in this convenient located hotel close to trainstation and buses. The breakfast was good and included in the room price. The WiFi was free and fast. Friendly staff in the reception.
We had very good experience. We were offered a room with a see view. Staff was very supportive, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also good. Good value for money. Excellent location. Good sleep quality.
The hotel is located right next to the train line. The trains run every 20 minutes in both directions from before 6am until midnight - plus you get heavy freight trains in between. If when Ibis refurbished the hotel they had taken the trouble to install secondary/double glazing or even shutters, this would have improved things dramatically. As it is, you cannot enjoy a decent night's sleep which really lets the hotel down. It is a real shame. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. Beds on the small side but OK. Breakfast is continental but good. We wouldn't return here unfortunately if nothing is done to address the noise issue.
For the money, it was a very decent place, with management who are very nice and caring. My room was very clean, and the bathroom was recently refurbished. Breakfast was a very decent continental breakfast with a nice selection of pastries. It was right across the road from the trains station yet train noise was not an issue. So very conveniently located.
I had a very good stay at the hotel and it is stone throw from Beaulir Sur Mer Station. Easy location to get to Monaco-Monte Carlo (2 stops) and Nice Ville station (3 stops) which is also on the same train line to Cannes. Easy connection by train/bus from Cote D' Azur airport and cheaper. Taxi is a rip off so stay clear. Uber not bad but best bet is bus/train and you'll not waste money Massive supermarket 3 minutes walk from the hotel was very handy. Only beef is the lack of variety for breakfast albeit very nice and laid out well but would be great to have a wide variety as got bored of the same thing everyday. Would definately book again and the receptionists were very very helpful with assisting anytime without any fuss.
The Hotel was a perfect base for our trip to Monaco and is highly recommended . From the station close to the hotel there is an excellent half hourly service along the coast, and only 20 minutes from Nice Airport, plus a 10 walk to Saint Augustine station. There is no restaurant at the hotel but there are several nearby. Our favourite was Le Cafe Des Saveurs
Excellent stay in a well situated hotel, very close to rail station. Very helpful, friendly staff. Slightly better selection at breakfast buffet would be appreciated, as would tea/coffee maker in room.
We stayed at the Ibis Styles, Beaulieu-sur-Mer two years ago and enjoyed it so much we wanted to return. Sometimes this can be a mistake but it was certainly not the case, the staff were as welcoming, friendly & helpful as ever. Another bonus is that a basic buffet breakfast is included. The hotel is right opposite the train station & bus stops and walking distance to the beach (A little over 5 minutes) So there is no need for a car, public transport will get you to Eze village, Monaco, Menton, Italy, Nice, Antibes, Grasse, St. Raphael or even up into the mountains. Many walks can be found and there are restaurants nearby, La Chicoree was our favourite but be aware, like others in Beaulieu they observe Sunday as a Family day & do not open) so we had a day out by train and returned after a meal in St.Raphael, (Trains run late even on Sunday) Our room was spacious and we were lucky to have a side view of the bay, We love the area and will no doubt return again. The only down side is that yes you can hear the trains if you insist on opening the double glazed windows (There is air con) but I did not personally find them a problem, you cannot have it both ways, reliable public transport on the doorstep must be a plus. Trains run until late, buses tend to wind down around 2000-2030hrs.
an excellent hotel in a quiet part of the town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I asked for a room with a balcony and this was provided. The hotel does not have a garden but with the sea only 5 minutes away that was not a problem. Buffet breakfast was good and plentiful.
This was a very nice, small, family run hotel in a great location. Somewhat basic but excellent beds. We had a room overlooking the sea, which was nice. Breakfast perfectly acceptable; bar range limited but adequate. BUT - might be an idea to take a hairdryer with you. Fixed temperature/air flow snake thing available in bathroom but proper hairdryer would be great improvement. Preferably one that can be connected within sight of a mirror.
Considering how much you could spend on accomodation, for 2 Adults and 2 children it was a good overnight solution. Any more than a couple of days and it would be way to small. The fold out bed goes right up to the other double bed and leaves no room to walk around so has to be put away when not in use. Rooms are great but are small.
A truly wonderful Ibis hotel. Our room was the basic double but had plenty of room with a great view and fantastic bathroom. Location is excellent too Station and Buses on the doorstep. Staff are really attentive and helpful with English spoken if required. Will for sure be returning next year.
We had a great two weeks here. Hotel convenient for buses into Nice & Monaco & also from Nice airport. Great walks into Villefranche & St Jean Cap Ferrat & Eze Plage. Made very welcome by reception staff. Room basic but very clean and lovely comfortable bed. Our only slight disappointment was that the hospitality tray in reception only seemed to be filled/available when there were groups staying at the hotel. The group bookings could pose a problem at breakfast time, however, this was not an issue for us as we always had a later breakfast!
We stayed three nights, and the room was very clean & comfortable. We were lucky enough to have a room with a sea view. Everyone in the hotel was polite & happy to help, breakfast was simple but nice, with plenty of fresh baguettes, cheese & ham etc. The fresh orange juice was very welcome. We will almost definitely stay again
A great hotel to base your trip to the Cote D'Azur from - great location with the train station and bus stop opposite. Breakfast is good value. Staff very friendly and make effort to assist with queries. Room was a little on the small side but adequate for our needs. Would pay more for tea & coffee making facilities in room!
We stayed a week in April of 2014 here. We had a nice room on the fourth floor in the back. It was very quiet at night in the back , that is not facing the main street. The room was a nice size. The staff was wonderful. Olga was very helpful about things do such as the buses to take, the towns to visit and restaurants. It was a very lovely and great place to relax.
A family operation run by the sophisticated Giles, his wife and Children, expect a very good level of service to make your business or leisure stay worthwhile in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. The hotel is one minute from the main train station, with regular connections to Nice and Monaco. There is private parking at a small additional cost. The rooms are comfortable and perfectly adequate, with modern facilities. My family and i choose to stay in the Novotel Monaco and Ibis styles in Beaulieu. Highly recommended.
As we have found in the past, Ibis (AccorHotels) are clean, and fairly frill-less. What a great location. Staff was friendly and helpful to the extreme. A great place to land on the coast and not spend a fortune but be comfortable.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel right in the centre of Beaulieu and so conveniently close to the station, shops, beach. Rooms were extremely clean and staff were charming friendly and helpful. We had the most amazing view and balcony on the fifth floor overlooking the sea. I would thoroughly recommend staying at the hotel.
Very good value to money. It was a good option for us as a stop before taking a flight from Nice's airport next day. Very clean and comfortable. Just the parking might be an issue as it is outside the hotel and needs to be booked in advance as they don't have many places
