We had had a long drive from Paris arriving after 8.00pm. It was dark and the hotel's external signs and lights were not switched on, making it difficult to find. It was our GPS that kept insisting that we had reached our destination, and it took us around the block a few times. We finally found the sign for the carpark at the rear so we then found the front. We needed to park in the supermarket next-door to check in. Finally we were parked and in our rooms so we decided to have the hotel dinner. For the money, it was very poor value. Quiche, cold meats, cheese, salads and bread. Desserts in the fridge which we didn't have. I was very disappointed in this. Given the time, we really had no choice. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly, room was clean.

My wife and I have just spent two nights at this hotel and were far from impressed. We found the staff to be unfriendly and the choice of food in the dining room was both poor and very expensive for what it was. We will certainly not be staying there again.

the hotel is in a perfect location, next door to Intermarché, with an underground car park, and 10 minutes walking to the chateau and the centre of Blois. The rooms have all the comfort you need, and staff are friendly. The breakfast is included, and there's enough to choose from. At night it's quiet (as are the other Ibis, Ibis Budget and Ibis Styles where we stayed on this trip)

Hotel is located 5-10 minutes walking distance from Blois Chateau and Tourist Information Office. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Room was spacious enough and certainly clean and comfortable. A range of restaurants are available for lunches/dinners within easy walking distance of the hotel. Car parking is available on site.

Lovely helpful, friendly staff..spotless room, comfy bed, smart shower room, good breakfast, and evening meal was fine too..only disappointment was Blois itself, quite grubby, The Castle was lovely though, and well worth a visit..

The room is confortable, the service is very good, localization ok, good breakfast and coffe breaks free. The only drawback was the Ibis not release the use of air conditioning during the spring. The sleep was very bad because of the heat. The option of opening the window brought side effects such as light and noise

An excellent hotel to stay while visiting Blois, situated about 10 minutes walk from the centre and restaurants.. Very helpful and friendly staff. An excellent breakfast which was included in the price of the room. Hotel very clean and also a secure garage at a small cost.

The staff at this hotel make you feel like family. We went out into the rain and the lady who worked in the breakfast bar and as a maid brought out an umbrella that they had behind the desk. There is no refrigerator in the hotel room but the staff was more then happy to give us all the ice that we wanted, which was a lot. There is a grocery store right next door and we got some food from there that needed to be microwaved and they let us use the microwave and provided plates and silverware to eat our food, which was great. This is a small hotel that is a great deal for a small price. It is also only 100 meters from the train station, which was great.

Stayed here at the end of our holiday. Room 325 was like having a 2 bedroom suite rather than a budget room. The kids loved it and had an excellent nights sleep. Decor may not be to everyone's taste. Very French modern.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and it turned out to be two nights with mixed feelings. The bathroom - which was great by the way - took up 1/3rd of the room that turned out to be claustrophobically small. No space to store luggage, very uncomfortable feeling. Breakfast was good but the staff looked uninterested and demotivated. Sorry, wil not stay there again.

Not knowing the area had agreat difficulty finding the hotel and when we found it then had difficulty trying to park near it. Having circled the area for a couple of times we then spotted the sign for the car park and after that no problems. Underground parking was good, rooms were very comfortable with exceptionally good air conditioning. Breakfasts were of high standard and staff helpful.

I stayed for two nights during our family trip. We were in a triple room. The hotel is in a walking distance of the Chateau and is very close to the Gare. We like the space kids have to play at the reception. But we were disappointed by the service at the front desk. We arrived by car directly at the hotel parking lot. By the intercom, the attendant checked our reservation, informed us the price for parking and didn't open the door. We stayed there waiting, called again and he wouldn't answer. I had to go to the reception (a half block walk) to check in and then he told me that it would be better to bring the car to the front of the hotel otherwise we would have to take the stairs with the luggage. Why didn't he tell us that by the intercom? Why didn't he answered it anymore? Beside that, he didn't give any information about the hotel during the check in. Awful service!

Interesting decor and friendly staff. Very close to the centre and lots of places to eat. Only downside is the proximity of the railway which makes leaving windows open at night a problem for light sleepers.

I liked: - hotel is not far from the castle and city center - underground parking very handy (6€) though difficult to find (park near the supermarket next door and ask reception how to enter) - clean and modern room - good breakfast (for a continental) - bread&pastries, ham, cheese, yoghurt, fruits, muesli etc) - breakfast and wi-fi included in price - receptionist who greeted me gave me all necessary info unprompted (breakfast, wi-fi, restaurants nearby, castle, city map etc,) and proposed express check-out - free hot beverages in the lobby and free bottle of water in the room is nice - good value for money - check-out at 12:00 so you can visit the castle in the morning with car left safe in the hotel parking I did not like: - small room and hardly any storage space available (as mentioned by many other reviewers) wherefore definitely not recommended for more than a couple of nights - bed is a bit too soft for my taste but this a a matter of personal preference

Good value, good location, but needs more attention to detail and better management. The outside of the hotel looks rather disappointing with faded paintwork and could benefit from redecoration and an improved entrance. The first room we were shown was very smelly, however we were quickly directed to another, better room, but without any apology for the first experience. The second room had obviously not been prepared for guests that night e.g. no TV remote control and cleaning was several days old. However, bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom good with a separate toilet. The hotel is located on a busy road but our room was quiet. Breakfasts both days were good and staff helpful and friendly. Tip: The secure, underground parking is difficult to find. Park in the supermarket next door, check in and get the directions to the car park. It takes around 7 mins to walk into the historic centre of town where you will find the chateau and restaurants.

This is a typical Ibis hotel in that it's clean, has all the facilities you need and the bed is comfortable. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful although one young man (manager?) was quite aloof and made us feel hurried. The room (double) was incredibly small and we were overlooked. There was very limited storage room for cases but I guess Ibis hotels are used most frequently by 'overnighters' who bring little luggage. We are STILL waiting for a receipt for our bill. They were having trouble with the computer when we checked out.

just a nice modern well kept professional Ibis where one feels good and welcome. Good location in a beautiful town. Just one thing, would really help if you guys invested in some in room safes for guests.thanks again

Hotel design

Starting with the lobby, there's colour everywhere. Pink is king! Touches of white, touches of glamorous! As for the materials: velour, leather, crocodile... very chic. Let yourself be seduced by the ambiance, deep in the clutches of our round armchairs. Everything is like that here. From the breakfast room to the bedrooms... vivid hues, enchanting forms. On the walls, graffiti, stickers from London or New York...ever so stylish. Photos of urban landscapes just above the bed. And pink again on the pillows, in the bathroom... so refreshing... you'll be tickled pink!

While everything in Blois is about history, hotel Ibis Styles thinks modern. Down with the past! Fuchsia is everywhere. A wall, a curtain, a bedspread... all mixed with visuals of big cities. Here, we get with the times !

Ice cream for your enjoyment, a lively bar in the evenings and a cheerful staff...what an ambiance! You can even indulge in a game of darts or foosball. In vacation mode and feeling fine... one thing is certain, here you'll see the world through rose coloured glasses!
