Friendly staff helpful staff. Spoke good English. Excellent location being very close to the centre. No onsite carpark but at 4€ for a day you can park only a few minutes walk away. Rooms were quiet and the air conditioning was effecient.
We stayed here for 3 nights in June '17. For sheer convenience it's perfect for strolling through the oh so picturesque town. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast choice perfectly adequate, the staff friendly and helpful. The parking situation is the only drawback, no secure parking, meter fed and quite pricey but it's the price you pay for such a great location.
Modern hotel adjacent to the centre of Honfleur. Receptionists were wonderful. Rooms clean with AC but compared to my stay in the Styles in October 2016 baths had been replaced by showers, which to myself was not appreciated.
The hotel is located in an excellent position. Close to old town attractions. Good selection of restaurants and cafes close by. The hotel staff were were really friendly and helpful. Parking on the street outside. Easily accessible from the motorway.
Having stayed in Honfleur many times this was my first time here. As with all Accor hotels at all levels you know what to expect. This no frills well positioned hotel was ideal for the overnight stay needed as i headed back up France . As the saying goes if did what it said on the tin. No fuss, clean accommodation with a limited but nice breakfast selection.
The hotel is ideally located, Just right above The Quail of Honfleur. There is a big public parking in front of The hotel also. The team was very atencious and It's a good hotel for The amount of price for The stay.
We stayed at this hotel last year and returned because of it's great location, a 3 minute walk to the harbour and loads of restaurants. As with all Ibis hotels, you know exactly what you are getting, the rooms are simple, spotlessly clean and have a big comfy bed. The continental breakfast bar has plenty of choice with the added bonus of a fresh orange squeezing machine.
This is a very conveniently placed hotel in the centre of honfleur. We had a very friendly greeting and were given good advice as where to park. The best thing to do is park briefly in front of the hotel, drop your cases off and follow the advice to park by the big wheel, 4 Euros a day but make sure you get your ticket befor 9 00am on subsequent days. There is a lot to seeand do in Honfleur, well worth a visit particularly if you are interested in the Impressionist painters.
Excellent welcome at reception. Good, clean & bright room with comfortable bed. Unlike other hotels we have used, there was no hot drink in-making facilities provided in the room however there was a complimentary bottle of water provided in the room. Parking is VERY expensive close to the hotel, although there is a car park within 5 mins walking at 4 euro per day from 9.00 am to 9.00 am.
Quiet and centrally located near the harbout. Excellent breakfast!! The rooms are clean and pleasant - lots of parking nearby but this can be expensive - cheaper parking on the other side of the river
we arrived early evening to find the car parking was very limited. The hotel staff were very welcming and rooms were clean and well fitted..Fresh coffee etc was always available at reception area and a good selection of games for children. We were situated very near to the beautiful quay area with plenty of quality eateries and stunning buildings.Breakfast in the morning was to a high standard with good selection of cereals, fruit, bread, croissants etc
A friend and I chose Honfleur as a base for a motorcycle tour of Normandie. The hotel was easy to find and well situated for the town itself. The staff were very helpful and advised us how, and where, to park our motorcycles. It appears all parking near the hotel is via a ticket machine. The beds were comfortable but the room lacked storage space for clothes and luggage. The breakfast was good and the availability of complimentary tea and coffee in reception was very welcome on returning from another wet day on the road. The only down side was the very poor wifi service. Although free it was painfully slow, Skype reverted to a blank screen and sound only. This, together with the persistent requirement to re-log on, made communicating with loved ones, and the weather forecast, difficult.
Hotel in a good position for Honfleur, and a good re-vamp from the old Hotel de la Tour. Good value for money, and recommended for a short stay (even though parking your car will cost you almost as much as your hotel bill !)
The Ibis Styles in Honfleur is a modern and friendly hotel. My room on the second floor was spacious and clean, although Wardrobe space was limited to about 18" - 24" wide with three to four hangers and no drawers to put away clothes.. this for an overnight stay or weekend is fine, but when you are there for over a week then it becomes tiresome living out of a suitcase.. so if I could ask one thing of the hotel it would be to give some drawer space for longer term visitors... However, all in all I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, friendly and very helpful staff, good breakfast and central location to the beautiful town of Honfleur
This Styles has a great location in the harbour so there is plenty to do and see on your doorstep. Parking is very close but very busy in August! Could not park outside to drop luggage. Breakfast is simple but tasty and ample. Rooms are clean and the bed is comfy. Nice shower.
When I booked this hotel I didn't realise that it was a 'Styles'. Anyway I checked in and when I got to my room I was pleasantly surprised. The room was large, had the usual comfortable Ibis bed, there was a full sized bathroom with a bath and the room had air conditioning. It faced out over the front street so I expected some noise from the traffic but the double glazing did a great job at keeping out the noise. The hotel is in a great location very close to the harbour and there is parking outside the hotel. Note that the free parking is only overnight, you need to buy a ticket if you leave your car all day.
we choose this for it's excellent location and wrre pleased to find a parking space outside. We had good advice from reception on paying the parking. It was the room that disappointed us. We have stayed in all sorts of Accor hotels over the years but this was the first time in a Styles one. The big bed was comfy but memory foam so a little hot. no fridge, only one big towel , with each towel in the pile getting smaller, one small chair and a stool. The bathroom was a good siza and shower fine but bath too short to put legs flat. Breakfast was good with plenty of food choice and all help yourself, good coffee . Reception helpful but had run out of maps. Don't get me wrong, the 117 euros was about right, we just had higher hopes...Location is great.
This hotel is located just blocks from Honfluer's central historic district. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a typical European breakfast consisting of breads, meats, cheeses, cereal, coffee, and juice. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only negative thing I can say about the hotel is the limited parking. There are a limited number of parking spots right in front of the hotel. We were fortunate enough to secure one of them for the night but I could see where it could be a concern if you had to drive around looking for a spot. This is a great hotel if you are staying in Honfluer.
Staff really helpful & friendly, hotel within easy walking distance of loads of restaurants & the town centre, port etc. Parking very easy directly in front of the hotel and on the other side of the street. Remember to think about the €8 "forfait", which allows you to park from about 16.00 until 12.00 the next day. Free WiFi is really useful and the buffet breakfast is delicious and very copious.
I booked the family room for myself and 3 kids for a one night stopover and was very pleased with the hotel. The family room has a double bed and 2 twins in an upstairs loft. It was clean, comfortable and most important very well located in Honfluer. The ladies working at the front desk were very pleasant and kind. Yes, parking is a bit more expensive then one may like, but it's very convenient and parking anywhere in the other lots will cost the same or very close. Breakfast was very good as well (mine was included in rate so cannot comment on value). Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
"We should build towns in the country because that's where the air is pure." In the lobby, a quote from Alphonse Allais, a 19th century journalist, writer and humorist, sets the tone. Here, the décor evokes the natural appeal of Honfleur. A palette of light, of contrasts... everything reflects the artistic mood. Splashes of red, the painters' favourite primary colour, enliven the walls. Then green, a nod to plant life. In the breakfast room, pop art prints and photos that depict the town. And in the rooms? Soft tones encourage daydreaming. Perfectly settled into a spacious bed, you drift off with Impressionistic visions dancing in your head!
Honfleur: its port, its light and its painters. Sitting with a sketchpad, or standing behind their easel, they invade the streets. The first to set up shop? Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet, Jongkind... they all fell under the town's spell. As did the owner of the Ibis Styles. Quotes from artists, sparkling colours... you settle in, settle down-for the duration!
Discover the art and architecture of Honfleur... At Ibis Styles, the visit continues. Here the staff is as natural and easygoing as the landscape-cheerful and warm. A cosy, homey atmosphere. Whether you are here for the weekend of for business, smooth sailing ahead!
