Good location, nice service from staff. Quickly check in and check out. Breakfast room is wide even I faced with group tour and refill food all time. One more, you have to walk to another building to have abc and parking but it’s not far from main building.
I booked the room for 2 nights during New year> the price was reasonable (Accor member rate) for high season. The room was ok, just a little bit weird layout. The service was ok. But the choices for breakfast were limited and the even worse thing was some dishes look like left over food from the day before.
Corridor is dirty with too tiny space comparing to price charged. Breakfast is not very variety but opening time range is good for travelers. Location is hard for drivers and public transportation to notice and stop by.
I was booked for superior room for 1 night in Chiang Mai. When I arrived at the hotel, I got a key card for room number 1615. After the door opened, I was so confused about the room. My first expectation is modern style room type but it was a standard room same decoration as showed in hotel website. I called hotel staff to comfirm about the room type, and hotel staff told me room 1615 is superior room but decorated like standard room and the size bigger than normal standard room. I though this was not fair for me. Why I have to the higher price for a bigger size standard instead of superior room. All the hotel staff cannot make any clear answer for me.
when looking for budget accomodations, I find IBIS hotels to be consistently good and value for money. As an Accor member i was upgraded to a deluxe room, and it was spacious, well designed. the breakfast was better than average for a 3 star property, and the check in/check out very efficient. I think its a great choice if looking for a budget hotel in that location. the only downside is that if you are planning to spend time in the old city, or riverside, the traffic on huay kaew rd is terrible.
Great services from staffs, especially front office and housekeeping. The room physical is not good because the ceiling in my room (shower room) has moldy. The internet speed is not up to my satisfaction
Our room was upgraded to a higher level in Building 3 due to our Accor membership, the room was a very strange and awkward design though still better than many Ibis rooms we've stayed at in other countries. A very noisy room as we could hear the loud music from the restaurant/night club below until late into the night as well as heavy traffic noise. Not sure if the windows were double glazed. The hotel attracts large travel groups so the breakfast room was busy and not always kept tidy and well stocked. The staff were always helpful and did their best to make sure we had everything we needed. The location is OK, too far to walk to the city center though cheap enough to catch a Grab or Uber. Plenty of good eating places within easy walking distance. I'd recommend this hotel for a short stay of just 1 or 2 days, we stayed 5 nights and it was a bit cramped for our comfort.
I spent 6 nights at IBIS Styles and enjoyed my stay. Located on a busy corner ment there was some road noise but not detrimental to a good night's sleep. The complimentary breakfast had a very good selection and was very enjoyable. Being some 5km out of the centre meant grabbing a "red car" or "Grab taxi" as passing tuk tuks were scarce on the ground.
Clean rooms, and modern design. The staff speak amazing English and are helpful. I They forgot the basics like plugs next to the bed, a bedside table big enough to hold more than their phone. Also the bathroom door has horizontal vents throughout so it does nothing as a sound barrier.
We couln't sleep because noise. AC was terible and windows were so thin and bad that we hear motorbikes, cars and planes like at the street. We asked to change room to a back side and had to pay for it but the result was the same, no sleep. Small pool. Breakfast with disco music and flies on the fruit.
The room was okay but a bit dark, there was not enought light. Breakfast was several choices for selection. Helpful staffs. Far from downtown where tourist attraction but there was no problem for transportation because of Uber and Grab are also availble and resonable price.
Request a room away from the traffic noise and landed up with motor bicycle noise for most the night. Room was old and not in a good condition. Next morning the toilet blocked that had to be fixed. Car got damaged in hotel car park. I would not recommend this hotel.
When turn on air conditioning. It's very noisy. Cold and Hot water in Bathroom not stable. But Receptionist is very friendly. And one more thing for Breakfast after Chinese group left it's very dirty. It doesn't mean I don't like Chinese.
If you're looking for a place to stay on your vacation, this would be one of your favorite hotel in Chiangmai. The hotel location is not far the center of Chiangmai. Also, the hotel breakfast was good, so many choice to choose. The bad parts are the room which should be maintenance because it was seem to be old already and the other thing is parking lot was too small.
This place is locate on Suthep Road with great location. For breakfast, it is include Northern food styles. Nice staff and sleep well At night, we can enjoy our drinks with the best Jazz band in area at Mellowship.
I always stay this hotel many many times when I went to work in Chiang Mai. The average for this hotel is good as room is not too expensive but if you are not accor hotels member. I think still a lot of hotels to choose in Chiang Mai and also cheaper. The same problem still occurred that about parking space. Hotel MUST arrange some space to keep parking lot to your customer who stay in you hotel not let every slot to who only attend the event in you functional room.
Ibis styles has a close location to the airport but during rush hour it will take the Shuttle bus 1 hour. There is no Shuttle back to hotel and minibus about 200 THB. A very good value for money with a nice welcome gift
been there for 1 night. the hotel is at very good location. very convenient for such a quick stay. if you come to Chiangmai and hang around sight-seeing over the city all day, i would recommend this place. least fav.here is that Towels are old.
The room is clean and the service is prompt. Overall it is a good hotel but on certain days there was a sewerage stench at my floor pervading the room. Breakfast was adequate. The spread for buffet lunch was limited.
At first I have encountered with air conditioner so the staff changed and upgraded a new room. The new room was good but in the next morning the water is not running after ~30mins they fixed it but it still smell and got yellow colour. Staffs were very satisfied when I asked a question they can provide a clearly answer with the smile.
