Very pleasant receptionists on arrival. Breakfast was good value and we also had the tickets to keukenhof included in our package. Room was as expected. The hotel is close to the railway station. I believe the more expensive rooms have tea and coffee making facilities in the room, ours did not. However we always take a travel kettle on our trips.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. I love the location adjacent to train and bus terminals. The staff is friendly and breakfast buffet well done. I have taken advantage of the Kuekenhoff special a couple of times. It is an excellent value.

Is the same as other Ibis (so regular), but prices higher than usual for this kind of hotels. I chose Keukenhof package, that included a welcome drink, and was not offered to me... I had to look again my booking and later with the booking information on hand I could get the

We stayed 3 nights at the Ibis Leiden Centre. It has a great location just across the road from the train and bus stations. Couldn't think of a better place to saty when visiting Keukenhoff Gardens - the combined bus/entry ticket goes from Leiden in around 20 minutes. The hotel has probably the best breakfast we have found in the Ibis chain. Rooms were clean, tidy and in good order.

Conveniently located near the train station (could hear almost no noise coming from it), less than 10 minutes from the Volkekunde Museum, De Valk mill. Room was clean and adequate for an ibis. Overall a good choice. They charged city tax for our 5 year old besides us two adults (15 euro total for two nights), though we informed 2 adults and 1 children in our reservation and the tax to be paid there was stated as 10 euro total. I am not sure the city levies the city tax on children...

One disaster after another frim a non caring staff. Traffic noise was unbearable with motorcycles racing after midnight. Could not get my room as promised. Room was hot and when i asked someone to come and check they said no!! When i checked out i was told my bill was 480 euro for ONE night! My key did not work even after being reassigned to a new room after they sent me to the wrong room. I was absolutely shocked at sll the screw ups and their attitde toward remidies.

The Ibis Leiden Centraal Station is centrally located, walk across the street to the station or a little further to rent bikes. Rooms are standard Ibis rooms. However, no in room safe. Was able to check valuables in at the front desk.

IBIS Leiden provides a great location for a stay in this charming town. Right by the station, but not noisy. Rooms are standard IBIS style, clean and comfortable, with a good shower. The only disappointment was the food. I've stayed at other IBIS hotels and had much better selection in the evening. Ate there on first night, as we were tired. Very average meal and a rather small portion. Breakfast was much better.

We stayed for 10 days over Christmas. The rooms were just big enough, with all the amenities you'd expect. The shower could have drained a little faster, but the water was strong and hot. Breakfast was varied and tasty, although the toaster was only sometimes there. Personnel were friendly and helpful. Even though this is right across from the train station and backs up on a parking lot, the rooms were very quiet. You're right in the thick of things, but you'd never know it from inside your room.

My wife and I stayed for 5 days just before Christmas and could not have asked for more friendly, helpful staff - both front of house and housekeeping staff=ff were exemplary. The location of the hotel - opposite the rail and bus stations allows for easy access to all areas of the region. The central part of Leiden with a wide selection of shops is only a 10 minute walk away and the local Wednesday and Saturday markets are a must. The accommodation in the hotel is good with comfortable beds and a well appointed bathroom. We will certainly stay here again when visiting Leiden and have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to other travellers.

Typical Ibis. Clean room, centrally located, spartan decor and furnishings, small bathroom, no hot pot. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety. Staff was friendly and helpful. Best was its close proximity to the train station. Also near center.

Nice hotel with excellent breakfast. Modern rooms with very nice shower. Staff very helpful - right opposite railway station. Lots of restaurants nearby. Nice bar and everything with reasonable pricing.

Stayed here four times. Very convenient for station. Reception staff are excellent. Reasonable sized comfortable rooms. Had a view out of front overlooking station. With window closed there was no noise. Breakfast food range has improved. A sign said bacon or sausage. Day one there was both briefly, after which there was only sausage. Day two breakfast staff were not very good at replacing omelettes. Yoghurts, fruit, cold meats, pates, cheese, breads, croissants, waffles pancakes, cereals complete the line-up. Good showers.

Nice and clean hotel, convenient nearby the station. I had a loving afternoon working in my room from a desk at the window on 6th floor with a nice view over the city. The room was already ready at 12 pm.

A very pleasant stay. Room was perfectly adequate and extremely clean. I would like to make a special mention of the front office staff, Angela and Tamara who were so very helpful and obliging, thank you.

Great hotel! My room was quiet, clean and the shower was excellent. The staff were really helpful and friendly and even the wifi was good. My only complaint was that I would have liked firmer pillows.

very convenient location -- very helpful staff -- good value for money -- this really sums it up for this Ibis. I'm a very regular visitor and its always fine. very convenient location -- very helpful staff -- good value for money

The most important feature of a hotel in my opinion is the friendliness of the staff. Grumpy staff can ruin a stay with their surliness, and lacking the discipline to stop a bad mood from spreading to customers. The ibis staff in Leiden get 100% for friendliness and professionalism of service. They made the stay so pleasant because we knew that when we arrived back to the hotel we'd get a friendly greeting. The rooms were also excellent, though our aircon in room 303 was somewhat noisy. It didn't bother us that much so we didn't complain. Room cleaners were also quite excellent in terms of work and attitude. The breakfast was pleasant, but lacked in several respects. Food items were not checked throughout breakfast and so things ran out. I asked for full milk and it had not been delivered. My friend wanted pate but it had run out. The fried eggs were also rather leathery. However, the variety of food was outstanding, the breakfast staff friendly, so these deficiencies weren't serious. Many thanks for the lovely stay. It takes hard work and discipline to work in hospitality to a high standard, and all the staff at Ibis should be very proud of the excellence of their service! On the other hand the variety

Good clean hotel, staff helpful and good breakfast. Car parking a bit expensive but is a private parking at rear of hotel but not owned by IBIS. Unlike IBIs hotels in the UK there is no tea & coffee facilities in the room.

Having been here before, there was no doubt in booking a stay-over again at the Ibis Leiden Centre. Comfortable and clean rooms and very quiet (good to support a good night sleep). Friendly staff at all times of the day. Enjoyed the stay once more!
