I had paid for a double room, only to be given a very tiny room, that i had no room to unpack my clothes, also when i used the shower was a very strong smell of sewage coming from the drains, awful...

Hotel was clean and tidy. The bar was severely lacking stock, and the choice was limited. Also they only had 1 shot glass. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. Location was bad. Parking had a height restriction on 2.6m, my van is 2.6m.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Not much in the immediate area but chose for proximity to Walthamstow which was about a 20 minute walk. Room was fine but a little cold on arrival. James Bond décor a bit naff. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choice but seating was a bit tight. Parking at £8 per night was reasonable. BUT. The hotel comprises 2 separate buildings and we were put in the chilly building over the road from the actual hotel so glad it wasn't raining at breakfast time. This was a bit of a pain both times our room key stopped functioning and had to return to the main building for key card to be reset. Also don't forget your photo ID. Fortunately our son had his and so we were able to check in. I don't normally carry my passport when travelling within the UK.

We were staying across the road in the annexe building, the room was clean and we had tea/ coffee facilities. The breakfast was good and our stay was very pleasant. The only disadvantage is the noise of other people staying in the hotel and doors banging but this is not the hotels fault, so all in all we were very satisfied with our stay.

Everyrhing was really good, the room was nice looking clean and so on. However, in the morning, while I was sleeping, the cleaner came into my room without knocking or anything, without knowing if i clocked out and all that. She said sorry and quicly left. After few minutes I heard the lady knocking at other doors and asking out loud "are you sleeping?". I think this is very bad. This shouldn't have happened and the situation made me really angry.

I achieved doing all the things included in my Review Title because I was well set-up sleeping in comfort, enjoying a very hearty breakfast and using public transport to travel from hotel into Olympic Park and into City Centre, then out beyond the centre. Staff on Reception were exceptional: Congratulations and thank you.

For the budget price we paid we had no complaints. A small room mix up on arrival was soon sorted with smiles all round. Friendly staff at both reception and dinning area. Buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of variety. Would recommend to anyone who wishes to stay out of town in this area.

Though a simple 3 star hotel the manager and staff are easily 4 star! Following an initial complaint of our room being cold the manager went to extraordinary lengths to help us and make us welcome. All the staff were delightful and helpful and could not do enough to assist. This generosity and helpfulness was capped on our last day. My wife discovered she had lost her bus pass, as soon as we returned home we received an e-mail that it had been found in the bedroom. We are also aware of the real kindness to other guests facing difficulties. The hotel is a springboard to all of London. The rooms are basic but good, clean, with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower. The only negative we experienced was a long queue at breakfast for the only coffee machine and this issue, the manager told us, was recognized and being dealt with.

Was given a room across the road in a separate building on the ground floor room 125. The road noise was terrible, someone had a dog in the hotel that was barking, at 4am a noise like a powered jack hammer started. Complained to reception when checking out, they said I should have come to them at the time and they would have moved me. When I checked in they told me the hotel was full that was why I was over the road, when I told her this she just shrugged her shoulders and smiled.

I stayed at Ibis Styles Leyton for 2 nights last week, I've now booked my next 2 trips to stay there. Exactly what you need with a reasonable, realistic price tag. Not fussy, clean, compact, good shower, and TV. Breakfast included, better than the more expensive Travel Lodge hotels. Ibis is a brisk 15 mins walk to walthamstow station, or, several passing buses outside the Ibis, or around the corner, more frequent buses to and from Ibis/Walthamstow. Thanks Ibis.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel as it was a last-minute booking and the only hotel that still had a room available in that area. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff, quiet room, spotless bathroom with good shower, comfortable bed, good night's sleep and a great breakfast.

The room was absolutely spotless. Lovely bathroom. I was surprised that the room had a James Bond theme to it, which didn’t bother me, it was tastefully done. Just a quirk I wasn’t expecting. The bed was very comfy and lovey to sleep in. However, the doors to the rooms all slam pretty loudly and I appear to have been located under a small family of elephants who stomped up and down the corridors constantly at all hours - the only down side in my opinion. Breakfast is exactly what you’d expect, however it was very busy and it’s not a particularly large space for the number of rooms in my opinion, so there was lots of queues forming for the toaster, coffee machine etc The website says there’s a car park, but what it doesn’t tell you is that it costs £8 a day and has a very limited number of spaces so you should pre book. Upon arrival, I was told that the hotel car park was fully booked and I would have to park in the public car park further down the road (this car park only charges £5 for the day/night so it’s actually cheaper!) Annoying that they don’t tell you to prebook but certainly wasn’t a major issue for me.

The hotel is bright and clean with comfortable rooms. Good range of options in the continental breakfast. Good transport links by bus but a little way from the nearest tube station. Very good value for a hotel within range of central London.

The window can't open and from the hallway there wasn't coming fresh air either, so with just AC it get dusty and low on oxygen fast. Bed very comfy and everything shower fine. breakfast was ok just in the building across the road

First impressions were good. Somewhere to park whilst we were booking in. Had to telephone a car parking company to park in the car park, but simple enough at £8 per day. We had to walk up the stairs because the lift was broken. The carpet all the way up the stairs was very stained so was a bit apprehensive as to what the room was going to be like. Very impressed with the room however. Also the breakfast was excellent. Will stay again.

The hotel is located in the 3rd zone in London, but there's many ways to go to the centre: bus, tube or train. There are too many options of feeding around: supermarket, bakeries, restaurant and fresh fruit. Best cost x benefit I've ever had in a trip.

Yet another good stay at Ibis styles London Leyton - good ballance between price and quality, not so far from central London , continental breakfast included. Please remember to book in advance to get special price.

i‘m a frequent london visitor, at least a gooner, ibis styles is by far the best location near arsenals stadium, personal is attentive, the rooms are clean and appropriate, breakfast, only one coffee machine and one toaster is not enough when its crowded

Very nice hotel near the centre, although their car park was full there is a large car park very near by which is free after 5pm. The staff were lovely and the room we were i,n which was a James Bond themed room, was excellent.

Stayed here for 2 night. Easy to get to. Hotel clean, staff friendly and good variety of contintal breakfast. Was in a room across the road from main building but not a big problem, have a great time thanks to all the staff
