Great, no frills hotel, clean, quiet and efficient staff. Comfy bed, slept really well. Easy check in and out on site but you can also check in online. Didn't have breakfast but pizza was tasty. Will visit again.

If all you need is a place to sleep this is perfect. The room was clean and comfortable and bare bones. The staff was always available and desired to be helpful although their knowledge was limited. The area was not great as the street was "trashy" and although at first we did not feel safe, by the time our stay was over (8 days) we felt comfortable. The hotel is about a 5-10 min. walk from Algate East underground stop on the District line. There is a great Turkish restaurant near the underground....Efes and a very nice breakfast restaurant 2-3 doors down from that.

Having read previous reviews, I was concerned that I'd made the wrong choice in booking this hotel, but how wrong I was! Location was fine, friendly busy streets and people willing to give directions. Hotel was excellent. Will admit I was worried about the shower being in the room (from the reviews I'd read) but what wasn't mentioned was that 3 sides were walled and the door had excellent privacy screening on it. The staff could not be any more helpful, nothing was too much trouble and I would certainly use this hotel again.

Bit of a catastrophic night initially at least. We walked from the bus to Brick Lane. We thought the hotel was in Brick Lane. At some stage we phoned the hotel to confirm that it was in Brick Lane. We were assured it was there Are you sure we said. Oh yes was the answer. 100 Brick Lane definitely. So off w went. 100 Brick Lane was a derelict house. We rang again No it was the corner of Brick Lane and Whitechapel Road we were now told. By chance a local told us the was an Ibis on Whitechapel Road about a half a mile from Brick Lane. So off we went and eventually found our hotel. The chap on reception who had also answered our calls was unrepentant. The hotel is definitely on Brick Lane. We asked him to check it on google map. He did and apologised blaming the manager. The address on the booking says Brick Lane Whitechapel but it's nowhere near Brick Lane. Next morning we're looking for an ATM. Reception tell us there's one about half a kilometre along the road completely unaware there's one across the road beside a garage 10 metres away. Both these incidents make me think that the staff have abysmal training or have never ventured out of the hotel to see what the area is like. Either way it's a bad way to run a business. I'd say the hotel itself was fairly ok An acquired taste perhaps.

Have stayed here several times before as it's such a handy location within Zone 1-2. The staff are always very helpful and great that you can leave luggage for a small fee. Rooms are compact and basic but if all you need is somewhere to sleep they are fine, and in my experience always clean.

This was an over night stay, good location for st. pancras train station (5 or 6 stops on the tube).Cost was Β£55 for one night central london, you know its not going to be 5 star accomodation. The bed was very comfortable, very clean room, good flat screen tv on wall.No shower gel etc but a bar of soap, the shower was very good, but the bath towels were very small. The room was quite small, reception staff very nice.If you want to spend time in your hotel room this is not for you but if you want a good clean room for a very good price then yes, i would stay here again.Brick lane just down the road for curries and kebabs.

Very tiny room. Reviews said it was small, but it's smaller than I expected. Top bunk (which we weren't using) didn't look like sheets were clean. Room service woke us at 8 am. But otherwise, staff was friendly and location is great for the price. Underground 5 min away and Tower of London was the next stop walkable if preferred.

Excellent value for money hotel in the colourful East End of London where you get what they promise: clean room, comfortable bed and a good shower. Only a short walk to the excelent coffee at Brooklyn and the Spitalfields Markets.

Everything was all right. The hotel is so close to the tube. There is a supermarket close. Only the wifi was not so fast. It is a excelent option if your intention is spent not so much and stay at a clean hotel.

Quite New. Nice Staff. -You cant open the Window. Only Aircondition which you cant regulate. its cold or off. Power Socket were Broken. Nice Pillow. Hard Bed. The Area is not make for Walking around in the Evening.

This maybe a budget hotel but it does exactly what it is meant to do let's face it how long in your room when on holiday especially London soooooo much to see Soooooo much to do, restaurants are great shopping is amazing....... Be back soon πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Dingy, horrible rooms with dead flies and mould on the window sill. Beds were rock hard and the whole experience was very uncomfortable. Definitely not work Β£109 ... I should've got an Air BnB! Only positive was the room was quiet.

We had a 3-bedrood. The Rooms a smal with no storage. But the location was fine near the underground. At the office-desk was a trainee. He was overwhelmed and to slow. The breakfast was ok with toast, two species of cheese, ham, yogurt and marmelade. Coffee, fruit juice and water.

From the moment we stepped into reception we felt really welcome. We were greeted immediately and check in was really quick. We thought the modern funky reception and kitchen area was great, not like the usual boring hotels. We were pleasantly surprised to find our towels folded into swans and a heart on the bed in our room, a very nice touch. We were happy with the room, it was clean and just big enough for all our stuff. We are so pleased we stayed with you as we were tired from a long trip around Europe. I would recommend your hotel to friends and family. Thank you!

I cant fault this hotel. Not exactly in the centre of London but with the tubve station less than 5 minutes walk, you really cant go wrong. rooms are small but have everything you need and are spotlessly clean.

A bustling and cosmopolitan hotel that operates at quite a high speed - don't expect to relax here. Breakfasts are 'functional' and limited in choice. Most clients seemed to want to be in and out in ten minutes or less. Long queues on 2 of my days there. No parking in the immediate area and what there is is very expensive. Rooms are surprisingly comfortable for a budget format and kept very clean for my 4 day stay.

Ibis Hotels are wonderful. They have everything you need, without any frills. By sticking to the basics (good, clean room; good beds; very adequate breakfast; extremely helpful staff), they keep their prices low. My wife and I stayed four nights in a "twin nest" -- small, but so well arranged with everything we needed that it seemed larger. The location -- the Whitechapel area of London -- was perfect, with incredibly easy Underground access to anywhere we wanted to go and a cultural vibe (center of the Muslim culture of East London) that made it seem like we were visiting another, very interesting country!

I stay at this hotel most weeks for several nights. The staff are professional always and friendly whatever time of day. Rooms are consistently clean and well presented. Price great for London and in hot weather the room air con is very much appreciated. Highly recommended.

This hotel is in a good location (close to Aldgate East subway station). The rooms are simple without any extras but this is what you expect to find in a Ibis budget hotel. The beds are very confortable. Check-in and check-out went quickly without problems. The staff was very friendly.

Hotel was very nice and clean. Staff could of been better, had one almost argue with me about asking for extra pillows and bedding as our room hadn't been made up. Hotel excellent, staff need more training
