IBIS Budget Aachen City is on a good location in the centre of Aachen. Staff is perfect, Rooms are clean and with a Parking next-door easy accessible. Don't know if it noisy is in Weekends because when I am here it is always during the week. But no problems what so ever during the week.

Hotel is very clean, well-located and consistent in quality. Check-in is very easy and staff are always polite and friendly. Parking is very convenient. I will always stay here for my trips to Aachen.

The Aachen Ibis Budget is a study in contrasts between usable and comfortable rooms, and non existent service in every other area. Free wi-fi, that is indeed wi-fi, and indeed free, just not usable in any normal sense when in your room; particularly at the conveniently placed desk, where we would normally use the wi-fi. In fact, the only way to get a response to a search in under 8 minutes, is to stand in just the right place by the door, holding your computer, tablet or smartphone at just the right angle, and in just the right position. This tends to be sub-optimal for the minimal wi-fi experience the adverts would suggest. Similarly the coffee vending machine in the entrance area, which is quite ready to accept money, but shyly reluctant to dispense any coffee, or refund any money fruitlessly inserted in search of such. And coupled of course, with surly, indifferent staff, who ignore the above problems, after being asked for assistance, and who happily will abandon customers in the middle of a credit card transaction, for 20 minutes, to answer the phone; or haranguing a guest for daring to get a refill of the thimble-full of juice provided with the overpriced breakfast Coupled with a website that offers, and logs, early check in, said facility being stoutly denied by the staff, and we would strongly suggest that you stay at one of the other excellent ibis hotels in Aachen, rather than intrude of the privacy of the Ibis Budget.

You get what you pay for. The size of the room is OK, building is quite new. My bathroom was a bit dirty (top of the shower with brownish spots). Wifi is OK. Please note that the parking FEE is not included (mini 9EUR for 1 night).

The rooms are clean and very comfortable, small but good quality mattress, for me it is the best choice between quality and price, the location is perfect 5 minutes to walk to the center. Park place for car just under the hotel. The hotel shares half of the cost to park the car.

Great location near the center of town. Spacious room with comfortable bed and good strong shower. Best price in town. The reception hours were short -- no one there between 11 am and 6 pm -- but the automatic self check in was easy.

The Ibis is basic, but well located and the room was pleasant. The only problem is the lack of staff. A notice told me that breakfast should be ordered before 22h. But there is no staff present to order your breakfast. The reception is not more than a check-in computer without the option to add breakfast.

The cleanliness is just awful! The service is okish if you just check in/out and have no issues and troubles… I had no light in my room last time and it was impossible to reach someone...I know the price is low but the room is very dirty!

Classic IBIS hotel, a clean and spacious room. All seems quite new. Good location in the city center. Bit weird you can only find a member of staff before 11 o'clock and after 17hrs. Good thing there is another Accor hotel close so you can leave your luggage there. You get what you pay for.

The service and the facilities were quiet good, but the cleaning service could be much better and deeper. During my stay in the hotel the room was not swept, also the cleaning time was from 10:00 to 14:00 (too wide I think).

Very comfortable and efficient. My only complaint was parking garage closure at 2100. There is no way to access the garage unless someone is exiting. Why can't the user code I received at check-in be used. Other than that, my recommendation is that I will stay here again.

Hotel at a street where all drunk and drug people seem to gather, although not far from old town. Our sink was blocked and hasn't been repaired even following our complain... it was very dissapointing as I wasn't able to wash my babies bottles.

IBIS Aachen City is great value and an excellent location for the City, Christmas Market, shops and historic sites like the Dom (Charelemaine) and the Rathaus. A cut above the old IBIS standard. Good parking below hotel (7 Euros per 24 hours with a hotel discount - ask). Factory shops for lebkuchen biscuits (Lambertz) and chocolates (LIndt). Only 3 hours from the Channel ports, so don't know why more Brits don't visit, especially for the Christmas Market. Can recommend the Golden Swan on the Market for good food, including veggie, beers and friendly service (and English spoken). And best off all, the greatest model railway shop in the universe, Hunerbein opposite the Rathaus on the Market. Visit Koln / Cologne by train for the day easily and cheaply with a regional ticket - so no parking problems when you get there.

Nice stay in the hotel, everything was fine and quite appropriate for a short business trip. Nevertheless, I did not understand why my towels were changed every day when I followed the instructions and wanted to have the some for more days to be more ecological. Except this, I was satisfied.

Good: Room was great - clean, comfy, and had all I needed. Great value. Reception spoke fluent English. Bad: Credit card reader failed to accept my card; had to withdraw cash to pay. Would definitely recommend!

When we entered the room, the first thing I noticed was the smell of dried up urine. When I walked to the window, I noticed my shoes were sticking to the floor. Half of the room was sticky because of the dried up urine. When I told the front desk, she mentioned that she cannot do anything about it. There is no cleaning and changing of room offered.

I was a little surprised that my Accor card was not accepted and slightly concerned that they did not have any baby cots. Fortunately I had brought my own just in case and it was a good fit in the hotel room. My friends stayed next door and their room was for for one adult and two kids (6 and 4). There was the overhanging third bed design which I have seen in some French Ibis hotels which also now carry the Ibis budget brand. My room was a double bed and there was space on the side for the cot. The room was very clean and new and frankly I was impressed with the standard having stayed in the Mecure hotel in the same city about 5 years ago. The staff allowed me use of the coffee machine to get boiling water to make milk for my 22 month old baby. She also slept well and although we did not partake of breakfast it did not look too bad. On street parking was available though we plumped for an underground carpark which was a short stone's throw from the hotel and was charged at 7 Euros per 24 hours if you validated the ticket at reception. The only slight quibble would be the lack of net curtains which meant that once the curtains were open there was a full view from/of the apartment blocks opposite.

we stayed in Aachen for 4 days the hotel its self its is very close to the town centre. the wifi was so weak you could hardly get anything to connect ,our room was not cleaned very often the bin was not emptied for at least 2 days of our stay. the staff wore jeans and hoodies so you could not tell if they were staff or just people staying there. the breakfast was very nice and worth the money. overall not has good as what i expected from ibis budget.

In general I like a lot all Ibis Hotels I stay. But this one was a kind of exception. The machine that made our check-in did not mention pre-ordering breakfast, so we lost it. And the room had no soap
