Nice stay, friendly staff, nicely located in the city centre hotel. The food is not great to write about in the hotel. but there are many restaurants in the vicinity that you could use. Parking is available and is fairly good if you want to drive in your own car.
im very comfortable stay with ibis Chennai city centre. good security system and not very friendly staff but very clear and good service. toilet looks too small for couple stay. overall good. wifi connection very good.
Its nice hotel to stay being in city center. Staff at hotel are really good and of great support. Except the entrance way, hotel is well located in the city. I found the stay, food, rooms, cleanliness and restaurant is very good. Front desk people are too supportive. Restaurant chef was courteous to prepare Jain food for me. It was really tasty.
The hotel built on upper floors of a office complex, having an idiotic entry is good only for travelling executives. A single person oat entry handles luggage, security check, car parking etc... The toilest in rooms are replica of toilets in Ships (made of plastic) .. Not worth the money and certainly not for a comfortable family stay..
Ibis Chennai city centre is not meant for family stay according to my opinion. Room is too small for couple. It is best for business trip ppl. No luggage assistance. u can test ua patience wt elevator
The location is excellent and the hotel rooms are nice. However, the hotel is very slow in terms of check-in process and executing requests given to house keeping, maybe there is a need to increase/retrain the support staff.
It was a beautiful trip and wonderful experience staying at Ibis. Thank you for making our Stay so comfortable n cozy . Rooms were clean got cal housekeeper asking if we needed any thing. Dining was good and front office girl from Manipur was so sweet .
The hotel was great! Rooms were comfortable and the staff did everything they could to make this trip enjoyable. Special thanks to Tharani, Vijay their new trainee, Blessing, Rajesh and Deepak at the front desk! Sharmila kept our room spotless!
The hotel is ideally located for business and leisure traveler. Not far away from Marina Beach, not far from the airport either. 45 to 50 minutes to the airport either way, considering the traffic and Metro construction. The breakfast menu is quite diverse & great. The staff is very warm and hospitable. Value for money. Download 'Ola' or 'Uber' app to make your logistics easy and comfortable.
This is outstanding Ibis hotel i have ever stayed so far. The one year operation hotel offer great service to all guess , awesome staff who are always smiling and willing to assist whenever we were in need. I definitively book this Ibis again when come back to Chennai
Food was very expensive and not very great. One thing which I don't like that we checked in at night and reqd staff to extend the stay till 4 next day which they didn't do even though we had small kid
Service very good.Location central.Air pollution terrible. Must do something for this.practically no space for walking.I went out walking in Anna Salai for about 45 minutes and came back with red eyes which took 2days to clear.General quality of service very good but little being done even for your gold and platinum members.A can of ordinary soft drink handed over as welcome drink.Must do something about pollution and for members.Extended stay plan was very good
Overall the stay was comfortable but I had a horrid time trying to get an airport pickup organised which took 3 phone calls and then there was no pick up at 2130 when I reached the airport. When I tried to call the hotel, the number was from the outsourced travel desk where the person (Akbar) cut my call and did not bother to call back. The hotel then apologised profusely, even the rooms division manager met me but there was an expectation that I should understand their internal lapses and processes which requires an email for airport transfers (they claim that they did not get my mail when i did online checkin). and that there is no interface with the hotel instead of an outsourced travel agent. They kept asking me what should they do to make this right - I did not understand, whether the implication was that if they give me a discount then it will be alright!!!!. I felt that - If they wanted to do something that should be automatic not as if a favour is being done to make the customer happy. To be fair - the hotel did not attempt to brush it off and seemed interested in trying to fix the issue. This hotel has been opened only about 6 - 8 months ago and hence we should be a bit patient to help them get up and running to the best standards.
TV is very slow and responds to the remote after a 2 minutes . The ac died during the night and the blind in 804 does not close completely. Thanks to great staff that wanted to make sure I'm comfortable my rating is high else could have been a diff scenario. From the front desk manager to night ac TV person were wonderful.
food was not good, Limited options in breakfast buffet, no veg breads Room was too cosy for 2 people gave one with the capacity of only 1 person. AC was set on automatic system gets off in every 5 minutes annoying and uncomfortable. Too much cost cutting as it becomes uncomfortable for guests. package was stay for 3 nights and pay for 2 but had to pay full bill. Not recommended specially for business trip, only if its a single day trip for a single person then its ok
The hotel was probably above expectations for an Ibis, rooms, breakfast, room service, all perfect. Front desk service was lousy to say the least, was found taking cash guarantee on top of card guarantee and another minor issue where they were found acting beyond the law..
