Small complete renewed hotel, but great room, breakfast enough to start the day with enough choises. Nice renewed rooms with bath and shower, big beds, Good matras, Good pillow, aircondioning in room. Fast WiFi in room. Liked the nice painting in hotel. Very close to metro, restaurants and shops. Money worth staying in this hotel. All staff very gently and helpfull. Hotel was clean.
We seriously enjoyed this trip. Upon arriving we had to figure out some room configurations, and the man at the front desk helped us figure out the most profitable solution. We loved the rooms, and the service provided with them. Breakfast each morning was amazing, and was the perfect start to our days. The ladies at the front desk were always willing to help with directions and making sure we were enjoying our time!
Great stay at this clean and quiet hotel. Helpful staff and an excellent included breakfast. Close to transport to all areas of Paris. Not a tourist area but had small Cafes restaurants and shops. Highly recommended, especially if you get an online deal.
Small, but clean room. Helpful staff. No frills in terms of decor or amenities. The bed and bedding were pleasant, but there were no bathroom goods apart from the soap. 5 min walk to the Metro. The main disappointment was internet: the connection was so slow that it would take any webpage forever to load - it was virtually useless, so their claim to provide free WiFi is not helpful. They need to invest in proper fast broadband to claim they provide internet.
the room was quite decently sized for 2 people, and the neighbourhood was quite nice although it was a bit far from the main sights (average 20-30 min metro time) except for maybe Disneyland. what made this place so special was the breakfast! you can make your own fresh orange juice, the croissants are hot, and you get ham and cheese and fresh coffee. what's more: it's already included in your room price! what a great bargain!!!
The room was very clean room, the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is not very huge, but ample enough and good. There is 24 hours reception, the neighbourhood is quiet and safe, metro Olympiades at 600m, metro Tolbiac at 1.5 km. Good service by bus in the street, interesting for Chinatown and Italie 2 shopping centre.
The Hotel is very good, near a metro station and RER and worth the expense to be included breakfast and Wi-Fi. Despite far from major attractions, remains good standard Ibis, extremely comfortable beds, air-conditioning and central heating with silent. The breakfast don't have much variety but has a automatic machine to squeeze natural juice, croissants (excellent) and Brie cheese, among other qualities. As negative points, which do not compromise the hosting, I consider the lack of luggage space and lack of a box (curtain) in the shower.
room was clean and sufficient. Soap in dispenser was empty and traffic noise was terrible. I opened the window to get fresh air, but this let in an excess of noise. The room's desk space was nearly unusable for just my MacBook Pro 13" laptop. The shower was open such that water spilled readily on to the foor.
A 'proper' hotel at a budget price. This isn't somewhere you'd go for authentic French charm; it feels like a big chain hotel (because that's what it is), but for the price it's a good one. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet (I was on the first floor facing the main road, but the window shut out the noise entirely). The curtains blocked out the light pretty well and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nothing special, but it was clean and everything worked. There was hot water in the shower and shower gel in the dispenser. I had to work in the evenings, and found that the WiFi worked reliably, and the one-person desk in the room was big enough to take my laptop (just). There was free tea & (instant) coffee available in the lobby all day. The cold breakfast buffet had a good range of fresh food and was open for a full 4 hours (6-10). The breakfast staff were quick to clear away the dirty dishes and wipe the tables, but they didn't re-set the tables with clean dishes, just left them empty. I saw several people come in later on and look puzzled, trying to work out where they could sit. The bar in the lobby felt pleasant enough for the two minutes I sat there, but there were more interesting looking cafe-bars in the surrounding streets. Overall, excellent value. I booked it on the Ibis website at 20% off and it cost 49GBP/62EUR per night. My colleagues were in other hotels sharing a bathroom at that price. I told them I had my own bathroom, free WiFi and free breakfast, and felt smug.
Good room in a nice neighborhood, close to the Metro. Great staff! The room could use a little more space and a comfortable chair, and we've had a more elaborate breakfast at other Paris hotels--but we were not at all dissatisfied and we loved the staff, who made the stay very pleasant.
The hotel was very comfortable and clean. Rooms were small but adequate and beds were a good size and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and staff were consistently helpful and attentive. Air conditioning was not working but staff were concerned and reported problem but we were there for 2 days only over weekend.
A good hotel in a calm street with confortable and cleen rooms. Very kind personnel and a good break-fast served. Rooms are quiet and spacious. Good choice to stay in near the Bibliotheque Nationale. Metro and RER are near - within 3 min of walk.
Breakfast is good if you stay maximum 1 week. Pretty small rooms (no place for 2 big suitcases) ans very narrow hallways. Quiet in the night and many shops nearby. Very friendly staff and very welcoming.
ibis Styles Paris Tolbiac Bibliotheque is located in a great neighborhood, only 1 block from metro and train station and 3 blocks away from Sena River. The bed is really great and confortable. The bathroom was my only issue: is really tiny and should have a shower instead of a bathtub, because you sinply can´t avoid to wet everything and also don´t allow you to use your towel more than once (afterall, you have to use them to dry everything that is around).
Stayed in ibis Styles in other countries before, but had reasonably low expectations being Paris and all, but overall is was very suitable for needs. Had a quiet room (#310) that was clean and functional, breakfast was solid to start the day with excellent timing from early in the day, the location was also good being a very short walk from restaurants/mini-marts/atms. Overall, very good and would stay again.
Chose the hotel on price and convenience to the Gare de Lyon. It is only 3 stops on the metro and a 50 yard walk. We arrived late on Saturday and were pleased to find a couple of decent restaurant / bars near the bibliotheque. The hotel and the room were a little austere but were well appointed and very clean. Staff very keen to help. Our adjoining family rooms were in fact 2 separate rooms that had a lobby area that closed them off from the corridor. This worked very well as it meant we had 2 bathrooms at our disposal. Our rate included breakfast which was very good value. Freshly squeezed orange juice was a real bonus. The hotel exceeded my expectations.
One of the best economy class hotels I stayed at, and definitely the best in Paris... Nothing to complain about at such a great rate: convenient location, nice surroundings (especially Seine banks), shops nearby, spacious and clean rooms (as long as Paris **/*** hotels are considered), good-working air-con & WiFi, great breakfast buffet (German style, almost). This hotel is definitely the one to choose at the ** level.
Good hotel, friendly staff, comfortable beds, the rooms are small and air-conditioned, clean. The hotel is in a good location, close to the metro - line 14 and RER C, a large supermarket on Avenue France - Monoprix. All in all a good base to go sightseeing in beautiful Paris.
Staff friendly. Location handy for Metro, restaurants, snack bars and supermarket. Breakfast self service with good choice of food. Lifts to upper floors. Comfortable bed. Large TV but could find only one English speaking channel which was CNN World News. I would go there again.
