Excellent service from the staff at this hotel who go the extra mile to make your stay pleasant. We checked in early from a 5am flight and our room was ready. The heater did not work, but immediately a person was sent to sort it out. The location was superb. Walking distance to many sights and a metro station 2 mins away. We zoomed around the city with ease. The room was clean and the breakfast fantastic. Our room was small and the bathroom needs an air extraction fan.

This was my fourth stay in IBIS Blackfriars. Compared with earlier the stays I noticed a rather decent decline of service. It seemed to have to do with staff shortages because for 3 consequent days our room was not cleaned, they only started at 15:00 cleaning rooms without check-out. So leaving at about 10:00 and returning at 15:30 I was confronted with that.

A pleasant stay at ibis London Blackfriars for the end of the year. Confortable, quiet and with all expected services. Very good place to go when you want to visit London (close to underground, bus & co)

the staff were friendly and helpful .. the room was nice and clean .. many choices on the breakfast buffet .. the hotel is right next to southwark subway station so it was easy getting around and get from and to the airport .. it's also walking distance to many london sightseeing ..

A clean and friendly hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from all cooked well.We would stay here again easy to walk into all the sites.

I stayed here for a weekend break with my daughter. I paid an extra £10 for an early check in of 10am which was well worth the money as we could offload our bags and not have to carry them round all day. When we arrived the room wasn't quite ready but we were offered a free tea or coffee while we waited and the room was ready within 10 minutes. The room was basic but spotlessly clean as was the large bathroom. The only criticism would be there could have been a couple of hand towels in addition to the bath towels. A very good breakfast menu is available. Southwark tube station is a couple of minutes walk away and Waterloo station approx 10 minutes walk. We would definitely use this hotel again.

IBIS Blackfriars was perfect for the one night stop we had in London. It is about as central as you'll get. It wasn't cheap but nowhere near dear as some of the hotels in the area. The service was excellent with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was small but very, very clean and comfortable.

A great hotel perfectly placed on the South Bank for the theatre and Borough Market. Clean, friendly and has everything required at a great price. Check in was easy as was check out. A great bar with friendly service and great food.

I stayed at this hotel at the weekend for a visit to London. The hotel is in a great location , right next to Southwalk tube. ( when you come out of the tube take a left and walk about 200 yards and there it is) . All of the main attractions in London are max 10 minutes on the tube .We were welcomed by the friendliest man who took out bags for us and stored them safely. We returned later on in the afternoon and were given out room which was spacious and comfortable . There was a Tv, kettle with a choice of coffee/tea and biscuits. We had a comfortable stay and the breakfast choice in the morning was great. There was a choice of cooked/continental breakfast including sausage, bacon, eggs, toast etc , cereal , pastries and fruit. I would definitely reccomend this hotel for any trip to London

The front desk staff, Mr. Patryk is very helpful and friendly assisting with his best of effort during our check in. When he knew that we can get a connecting room duration the period of our stay. He try his best to get us two room which is adjacent. The hotel is within walking distance to River Thames and Borough Market.

We were very pleased with this hotel especially the great service that was provided. The room is cosy and clean. As one of the light in the washroom was not working when we checked in on the first day, the hotel staff immediately arranged another room for us. The breakfast was great too! The location is perfect as it is 5 mins walk away from the train station.

Excellent, welcoming staff made checking-in easy and hassle free. The room was clean and well presented and had everything we needed. The room's air-con worked well too, since it was fairly warm in there when we first arrived. Er Indoors was particularly happy with the breakfast, which had a fair variety to choose from and the cooked options were better than usual, being poached eggs and clean sausages and bacon, not swimming in grease and all for £10. Good hotel, will use again if we're up there for the night.

London is not cheap so this ibis despite above average in terms of price versus other ibis in the world, it is priced accordingly for London. Location is great when u need to in the city as direct to Canary Wharf and Waterloo is near by by walk. Room would gain a lot if a fridge was included. But clean. And sleeping is above average . Would have appreciated to get to a high floor which was not offered despite gold status.

We required somewhere close to stay to the Trafalgar Reception Centre after our tour. we ended up walking to the hotel from the Reception Centre which took about 10 mins. The receptionist was very welcome and checked us in via a cell phone. the room was typical Ibis and had a good amount of room. The bed was comfortable and the morning breakfast adequate. The hotel was a short walk away from the Underground and also many restaurants.

Mum and daughter off to see Mama Mia and we have stayed there before and it didn’t disappoint this time. The greeting is good, the bedroom clean and fresh, shower room perfect and the breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended.

I have stayed here several times before and always enjoy the friendly staff, nice ambience and great transport connections. If you do sleep light suggest you don't get room at rear of hotel as constant air handling equipment noise may keep you awake.

This is the 3rd time that I stayed in the same hotel in London. The location is amazing, with a lot of restaurants, supermarkets, pubs. There are a tube station in the same square and Waterloo is so close, as London Eye and Big Ben.

There was plenty of hot water....and the room was very clean. Unfortunately the bed was not comfortable (try Premier Inns beds) the towels small and thin and the bathroom (pre-fabricated plastic unit that fitted into the corner of the room) was noisey wether taking a shower or trying to flush the loo.

Great Ibis Hotel in the Southbank of London. Very clean and comfortable with great friendly and helpful staff. Great location to see everything in London. 50m fron Southwark subway, 10 min walk to the London Eye and many restaurants on the Thames River. 20 min walk to Westminster and many other popular locations. Loved it and highly recommend.

My stay was quite good.there is Nothing to complain. - good location - good service - good breakfast -15 mins walking from london eye Room was Slighty small,as i might be feeling this because we were with a baby.
