Usual standard Ibis Budget, close to Brussels Ring Road. Very friendly reception. On site parking not included in hotel price, so expect to pay extra. 24 hours are 9 Euro. Not much to do / see in the area on foot.

Ample on street free parking, €9 a night parking inside the gate. Friendly staff and nice rooms. Something was splashed under the bunk bed above us that we didn't want to touch and should shave definitely been noticed with a maid that cared at all. The frosted shower cover had to be covered with a blanket for privacy, at least the toilet had a separate area and door. We wished the shower had the same. Quick drive into Brussels, 30 minutes from Antwerp and Gent. Great quiet setting. Good experience. Except for the shower and bed stain, those made it pretty awkward. We'll gladly upload some pictures if possible.

I report only three experiences to exemplify the poor standard of care of this hotel: 1. the extra pillow that was delivered to the bedroom door did not have pillowcases and was posted by the attendant under his armpit; 2. questioned because there was no cleaning and daily cleaning of the extra bed, the attendant informed that "it was up to the guest to clean this extra bed"; 3. the drinker for guests is unavailable at the time the restaurant is closed - the electrical outlet is simply taken out, although access to the equipment is free, and front desk clerks simply say they can not do anything.

Convenient location if you are driving to Brussels.Train station nearby, train every 30 or 60 minutes. Ok rooms. Parking 9€/day. Nothing around the hotel. Rooms basic and clean. Nothing special but also no complaints.

friendly staff, clean room. a bit far from center of Brussels but cheaper than other hotels.I would like to stay again. if you go to the hotel by train, I recommend train time schedule in advance.Thank you.

This budget hotel overall is good but the breakfast hours is traffic jam. Too much people came out and 1 shot. that's not enough seat for breakfast and the food is gone too soon. Have to wait 2nd round to be serve.

A good night's sleep in an awkward place to get to in Brussels. This hotel has all the facilities you would expect of an Ibis. The breakfast seemed chaotic. There was a distinct lack of crockery. There was no french baguette a staple of a continental breakfast, though the rye bread was good with the ham and cheese. There is no lock on the toilet door in the room, and the lights in the communal toilets go out very quickly unless you move.

Never have I or my friends been so appalled! We checked in as normal when we arrived and were given our first room, when we went into the room we found dead flies covering the whole room! On the beds, in the showers, in the sink and all over the floor! Skirting boards were thick with muck as well as the plug holes! We went to the reception where the man was very understanding and gave us another room. We went into the next room to find more flies everywhere in the room again, this time we were kindly greeted with blood on the floor also!! We were disgusted and found an alternative hotel to stay in! As for the customer service team that was even more of a joke! Almost 2 hours spent on the phone to get absolutely no where with anybody! Only lied to! The final night of our 2 week road trip and it was just horrendous! I have no intention to ever Stay in an ibis again never mind this particular one!!

What an excellent value place to stay. Reception was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good value too. We staying the one night this trip and I would definitely stay there again . Only 20 mins walk from Nemo 33.

This is an Strange Industrail Neighbourhood which is very close to the audi factory . Even not considered Brussels anymore. False advertisement about closeness to brussels . You can not even use the brussels card for transporting here . worst small rooms and even worst towels yet why are they charging car parking for their own parking place? strange iron doors , if you are travellig with childeen definately this is not suitable according to my opinion .

Originally I had booked my stay at Ibis Budget for two nights (29th and 30th December). Then I sent an email requesting an extension of two more nights. On the 30th Dec night when I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist (who signed in my original receipt) took a cash payment of Eur 73.20 for securing the same room for two more nights. He (whose name was probably Khalid - from what I could make out of his signature) said that he could not print at that time and therefore signed on the original receipt that was issued for the first two nights. On 1st Jan, when I returned to the hotel, I found to my shock and dismay that I could not enter my room. Upon enquiring with the then receptionist (different person) I found out that the previous receptionist (who had signed on the original receipt) had not entered my stay on the 1st Jan night on the system. Therefore I had to make an extra credit card payment of Eur 50.20 to secure the same room for 1st Jan night. This thus caused unnecessary confusion and also discomfort to me as I had to pay more than what I think I needed to do. Despite contacting the hotel management, they still haven't even bothered acknowledging receipt of the email. This is almost like daylight robbery!

Ibis Budget Ruisbroek was another good Ibis experience for me an my familie. However, there were things that could be improved like: - Payment for the car park. During my stays in Ibis Budget hotel in the UK, Germany, Belgium and Holland, this was the first Ibis budget, where I had to pay for the car park. Had the space been limited, it would have been okay, but during our stay roughly only half of the places were used. - The breakfast buffet wasn't as varied as in Ibis Budget Zaandam, which we came from. - One morning there was no light in the escalator. We mentioned this to the reception, who ackknowledged our input, but the next morning - when we left - it was still not working. It didn't bother us, but we experienced other guest who turned around and took the stairs, when they found out that there was no light in the escalator. On the pro was the more varied assortment in the 'shop' than in a vending mashine.

in particular a very efficient and friendly night receptionist, and a very acceptable price / quality ratio. Parking availability present, although many customers use 2 places in stead of placing their car on one of the provided places. The room I used on the second floor had problems with light switch and was smelling bad to the sink.

I stayed this hotel 3rd times. nice staff, clean room, comfortable bed, easy to access to center of Brussels(train station is near, 5 minutes walk). I would like to visit again in future. thank you so much.

Situated in a quiet residential area, not for from the motorway, I found this Ibis budget hotel the perfect place for me. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were cleaned and serviced every day. Dirty towels replaced daily. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of cold food to eat. About a 5 minute walk from Ruisbroek station which is served by 2 trains an hour from Brussels Midi. Some shops nearby and a petrol station with a shop is also quite close by. The only room for improvement I would say is some hand soap in the room would be nice. If I returned to Brussels, I'll certainly stay here again.

Seems to be far from Gare du Midi but easy to acces, even with bus 50,for the tourists without car; a clean hotel with good prices, good and friendly staff. Some rooms are smaller, but enough to rest after a long walk in Brussels.

a very clean and pleasant hotel. the receptionist recommended a very good Italian restaurant walking distance from the hotel which was not even very expensive. we were very happy with the service from the staff of the hotel

This hotel was easy to find from the Brussels Ring. We had a pleasant room-big enough, and an adequate, though not inspiring breakfast. Parking is charged per 12 hours. A pleasant area but few places to eat.

Stayed with my wife for one week, check-in was good with very friendly staff. Asked for a room to the back of the hotel to have less noise, we have got the last room of the corridor. Room was clean as also bed sheets and shower towels, which is a characteristic from the Ibis brand; clean and presentable room. Hotel breakfast with a good selection: 3 types of cereal, yougurt, 5 types of bread, cheese, ham, fruits, cofee, hot chocolate and 2 types of juice. But I think the fair price for the hotel breakfast should be 6 euros (instead of 7.5 euros). Hotel facilities were good, the room was new and furniture was ok. The mattress was a bit too soft, it should be an semi-orthopedic one; not too soft and not too hard. One cons was the size of the room at Ibis Ruisbroek, I found it smaller than the other Ibis Budget brands that I have stayed at (Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Porto Alegre, Barueri, Lisboa, Amsterdam). Ruisbroek train station is within 5 min. walking distance, from there you get the train to almost anywhere. There is also bus service to Brussel-Zuid. Even adding the transport fare into account, you will spend less at Ibis Ruisbroek for sure. Nearby facilities: there is a gas station (good breakfast for 4 euros) and a carrefour express (small grocery store, breakfast for 3 euros) one block away from the hotel that can provide some good refreshments. On Ruisbroek square there is an Italian restaurant which has a good pizza and pasta, there is a wednesday and thursday sale with any pizza for 5 euros, don't miss it! It's a very calm neighbourhood at Ruisbroek where shops close early and life follows the local schedule. We enjoyed a lot our stay at Ibis Ruisbroek. Highly recommended, will surelly come back when returning to Brussels.

Good hotel near train station with regular trains to Brussels. However the car parking charges are not displayed on the website (why not ?!!) and you only discover it is paid parking on arrival at the hotel. The staff pointed out that if you pointed your mouse at the 'P' parking icon on the website it does pop up as 'chargeable', so I expect they get this comment frequently. If you are staying for more than one night the parking is really inconvenient as you have to go to reception and pay every time you want to take your car out. The clock then starts again when you return and is charged in 12 hours blocks, which can make it expensive if staying for a few days. Would be better if the parking charge was for the whole duration of your stay.
