Many thanks to Sharon at reception who went all out to help us to arrange a day tour of Gyeongju. She made our stay at the hotel very smooth and pleasant. She was always helpful and couteous and changed our room when we did not like the first one assigned to us.
Excellent location....metro just in front of the hotel....very clean and spacious room ....good value for money... Excels and professional staff....English speaking staff. It is also only 1 stop away (subway) from plenty off restaurants and a very interesting market which is just next to the hotel.
The room is bigger than I expect! And the choices of the breakfast cafeteria is really mulitiple. I enjoyed the breakfast very much. I had a good time while staying in Ibis Busan Hotel. I will recommend my friends!
If you're looking for a decently quiet option in Busan, this is a good one. Right on top of a subway intersection, very convenient for public transport. As an IBIS hotel, international quality of standards is guaranteed.
A good central location opposite the metro. Fabulous help from reception in helping us with transport enquiries. A soft bed and a quiet room. Only let down by the unwrapped condom noticed under the bed. :(
Location of Ibis Ambassador Busan City Centre is in my view a very good location with easy access to Seomyeon station where some speciality streets are located like coffee street, soup rice streets. In particular, can simply walk via the underground street without being affected by weather.
Not the best of hotels of course but good value. Location is not prime but convenient enough with dircect subway very close by. Wi fi is strong and reliable, though standard in South Korea. There is a Starbucks on the premise though not part of the hotel. This is important as coffee is not as readily avialable than say in Seoul.
The hotel is one of the best ibis chain I stayed. As platinum member of Accor hotel group, I have been stayed in numbers of ibis hotel across asia pacific and I could conclude it is one of the best. The hardware is up to standard. Staffs are helpful, friendly and able to speak in good english. Location wise is in the city centre and near the subway station. I would recommend any people visiting busan to stay here without hesitation.
I only stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. The room size is bigger than Ibis in Seoul, Myeongdong. Due to limited time, we didn't have time to explore the area around the hotel. There was a market next to the hotel but we didn't have time to explore it too.
It was a delightful experience with clean and comfortable size bedrooms. My special thanks to Laura of Reservation for making my family stay more comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located right in front of exit 9 of Bujeon subway station which can get you anywhere around Busan. Only 2 things I hope the hotel would improve are that the 17th front desk and information counter at lobby are the front line ambassadors for the hotel. I hope they would improve their English level and also to know more about Busan beside main tourist areas. One day, I asked both the lobby & 17th floor where can I find a nearby catholic church, no one knows nor did they try to search for the info. I manage to find one behind Geoje Market area within walking distance (about 10 minutes) straight from the City Hall main front entrance. It was the security guards and people at the City Hall that guided us to the church. They took the effort to search from their mobile phones and also try to call the church to find out more details. Lastly, I am not sure if the Hotel can suggest to make a pedestrian cross over to the other side of the main road opposite the Hotel instead of going down through the subway. That would be great for tourist. On an overall basis, this is a great and nice hotel to stay despite the lack of activities in the surrounding areas and choice of outside food. The Hotel staffs are generally fine and friendly (except need to brush up on their English and ability to source any kind of information a tourist would ask). If I do come to Busan again, I would stay in this again.
Enjoyed my stay with Ibis Ambassador Busan City Centre. Good and reasonably priced foods are just round the corner and Metro station right at the doorstep. Service rendered by front desk is excellent.
There is a pubic hair on the bed. I changed the room but It was unforgettable scene... And the bath room like chip motel room. I don't wanna shower again in that shower booth. Reception desk was kind and they apology again when I checking out, but dirty is dirty.
This is a wonderful hotel, nicely located. The Metro is just beside the hotel and the local train is about 300m away making it very convenient. There is also a wet market selling all sorts of seafood.
well located. The hotel is closed from city center and the main local market. The access from the metro must be done from the underground shopping center. the room was clean and the design is the ibis typical one.
Underground Shopping just in front of the the hotel. Central Railway Station of Bujeon is just 5 minutes away, There is a Starbuck beside the hotel for my morning kick start coffee. Many eateries and there is a supermarket across from the hotel beside my favourite Paris Baguette. We booked a Junior Suite (29 sqm). The room was comfortable. We had a pleasant stay there
...but it seems to be a bit away from it all. A very friendly and efficient reception, standard Ibis room, all in all if you choose Ibis for what it is you shouldn't be disappointed by this property. Standard, bed and bathroom, room as about anywhere else in the Ibis world. Clean and comfortable. A decent budget choice.
This is a budget accomodation located at CBD, easy to take subway to the beaches in Pusan and other attractions. In the meanwhile, but, the staff wokring at this hotel should be more customer oriented. They did not know well about Accor membership. They did not explain well about member's benefit also, did not give me a welcome drink boucher. It was not common experience on Accor.
The location of the hotel is perfect with metro station just next to the hotel, bujeon market just next to it, and seomyeon underground mall just 5 mins away. Nice and friendly staff that speaks English Clean and comfortable room.
This is really my go-to hotel in Busan. Service: The staff are extremely friendly and their service is top notch. The key here is, really, consistency. I have never experienced any trouble with their service since the first day I stayed here and it continues to be the case three years on. Cleanliness: The rooms are generally clean. No stains on the toilet or the toilet seat. The mugs provided are cleaned daily. Value: Pretty decent if your budget is not too tight and you want a great place to stay near Seomyeon. Location: The location is great because you're right above Bujeon station which is a stop away from the city centre in Seomyeon. You're well connected to the other parts of Busan once you're in Seomyeon. Sleep Quality: The beds are comfortable. There is only one window in the room and it isn't huge. The curtain blocks the sunlight for those who enjoy sleeping in. Rooms: The rooms are equipped with the basics. Kettle. Shower necessities. Slippers. Hangers. Ample space for storage.
The room smelled of smoke as I entered. I left the window open and it got a bit better. I think it was probably in the drapery or carpets though. Otherwise, a pleasant stay. Dinner buffet was quite good.
