The room and breakfast were good. Unfortunately it was impossible to turn on the shower without getting the bathroom soaked, or standing in freezing cold water until it got warm. On reflection, this could have been avoided, but being unaware of the need to be creative, cold and wet was the result.
Tiny room, that looked not very clean. The shower was leaking. Impossible to Watch TV, since the offer was pretty poor. I asked to be waken up, but the nobody called me. I asked for a very quiet room and found it rather Noisy.
Would have been nice to know that the entire hotel was under reconstruction Very disappointed on this 4 star. the whole room was covered with dust. Bad location - at the red light zone of Frankfurt, was not really safe walking at night alone.
The hotel is located near the main train station of Frankfurt, being a nice choice for the traveler that is planning a trip by train. It is a nice location to visit the main parts of the city by foot too. The hotel is nicely decorated, clean and the staff is nice. The only slight downside is that the individual rooms are not served by a direct lift, making it necessary to access the rooms going up or down a flight of stairs, which might be a challenge if you have a lot of luggage.
I had a bed experience using Ibis Styles Frankfurt City! My booking was 21-25/11/17 My check out was early - 6-30. I asked the reception specialist to write me the final bill in the original, as it was necessary for me to arrange the costs of the business trip - and I preferred 2 bills - 21-23/11/17 and 24-25/11/17. Finally, that person tell me that there are technical problem and no possibility to print no one final bill. and promise me to send them till 10-00 25/11/17 (check out day). Due the time limit I accepted to receive the bills by mail (and wrote my mail) Finally - today 04/12/17 - no bills, no actions, no messages!!!!
We had hard time looking for a parking lot near the hotel (depend on your luck). Location of the hotel is about 5-10 minutes walking from the central station. I would suggest you to think twice before booking the hotel if you don't like to stay in the red light district. Breakfast was good though.
Hotel is located within easy walking distance of main train station and old town. We enjoyed the older part of the city, walkable as were the paths along the rhine. There are many good restaurants nearyby.
CONS: - Staff at the reception was very rude and unfriendly - very small and dirty room - dirty bathrooms - not sound proof - carpet in room was very dirty and too old - terrible bed - poor internet - this hotel is simply terrible, please do not waste your money by staying here PROS: - only positive thing about this terrible hotel is location
After pre-booking 2 rooms with double beds arrived at hotel to find one room with double bed and airconditioning and other room with two single beds and no airconditioning. Attempting to change room for one with double bed to be told hotel fully booked and cannot change. Hotel staff made excuse that bedding was not indicated at booking which was not true. Booking clearly stated 2 rooms with double beds. Very hot night so had to sleep with window wide open. Buffet breakfast was good.
A fine clean hotel not far from the station where we arrived. Our bikes were locked up in the playroom conference room. 7 floors up was too far to go on stairs. Breakfast offered a very wide choice of everything.
I did not like the hotell at all small rooms nealy no window at all smaller than my kitchen at home and lobby toilet nearly impossible to find so its a nono for me huh so i checked out and went to berlin super ibis haha
I stayed at the Ambassador for a recent business trip in the Frankfurt- Mannheim area. The hotel is very centrally located, an easy walk from the train station and only a block from the Main river and its extensive green areas. Excellent for that morning run!
As a city hotel, you can get all you need. Helpful receptionists, nice breakfast, clean rooms, easy to arrive by public and private transportation. Walking distance to frankfurt central train station.
This was the second time I stayed at this hotel and I'm very satisfied with the location and the service. Front desk personnel is very friendly and helpful, the comfortable rooms comfortable, good breakfast and wi-fi.
I loved that this hotel is in the heart of Frankfurt, a few steps from the Central Station, and a little walk from the touristic area and the fashion square, near Opera. The breakfast is a plus! The staff is very nice and give you all the information that you will need. Frankfurt is a wonderful city and this hotel makes it cheaper and better!
Beautiful welcome.Young lady at the reception was smiling and welcoming. She even offered to make us a lunch since we were leaving hurly the next day.We will and we are going to use this hotel on our next trip. Near, restaurants train station main attractions
When we check out on 20th March, we enquire from the front desk if it possible to have breakfast pack during our next stay on 26th March and we told that we can just inform the front desk officer during check in. When we check in on 26th March, we were told that it is not possible as it is on Sunday and no kitchen incharge person is around. We do not expect this kind of service from an International standard hotel chain
It was a pretty decent hotel, clean and orderly. The staff was friendly however the sink in our room leaked and the shower didn't drain properly. Wi-Fi was a little slow though it always worked. TV had very little channels. Breakfast was very good.
We arrived at the hotel lobby and there were two guests checking in and there was one person with this two guests and another worker on the phone. For the subject of the conversation it was a private call. Anyway, this man did not end his call to check us in. So we waited the other guests to be attended and came our turn. The attendant was verry polite, handed us two keys (cards) for our rooms, as we solicited, gave the welcome drink I was entilted as a Platinum member of Le Club. I asked for a late check out and she said they were fully booked but she said she could ask the manager and we said it would be kind of her. So she spoke to the man who was on the phone since we steped in the hotel about the late check out. She didn´t even finish asking him and he said it was not possible. Meanwhile she finishes explaining to us about breakfast, restaurants, handling maps and on, the manager started yelling at her in german, in front of us in the midle of the lobby. We did not get the subject, but he was stupid with her, yelling in front of guests and other worker that arrived while we were checking in. This so called manager, that clearly don´t know how to threat his staff, neither the hotel´s guests must have some classes of human contact, because he acts as a cave man. At least the woman did not back off and spoked back to him (in german, so we did not understand). I like Accor Hotels verry much, but this experience was terrible.
Pleasant and comfortable room in a location convenient to the main train station; experience marred by stupidly small shower enclosure with door nearly impossible to open by someone inside the stall. How anyone could have designed or bought such a contraption is beyond imagining.
