Hotel was fine although a bit tired , particularly in the bedrooms. However had a modern walk in shower. Door handle broke during our stay but otherwise ok. Breakfast adequate. Good location close to motorway
This hotel is well located in Brive, not far from the center and the highway. It offers a good price/quality range, with comfortable rooms and a good bed. The quality of the restaurant is not so good, also the wine (white Bergerac) was very disappointing.
The hotel is conveniently placed close to the motorway, in an easily accessible place. There is ample parking and the hotel environment is quiet at night. The staff are all very obliging. We ate in the dinning room in the evening and the food was well served, of good quality and the price was very reasonable. Breakfast was more than adequate.
Good, clean hotel. Restaurant fine , reasonable selection good service. Breakfast copious fresh orange juice , excellent choice of breads. Beds as always with ibis styles very comfortable . Bathroom fine good supply hot water in shower just a bit dated but very clean. Good stop over hotel convenient for autoroute.
The general standard of Ibis is exceptional for the money. We are knocked out by the staff's friendliness and professionalism plus facilities like breakfast are great Would highly recommend to anyone6 but check on parking as it ranges from free to 24 euros per day
This hotel is situated some distance from Brive on an Industrial Estate. Our room was very clean with basic facilities. The room was quite small - a little claustrophobic. The room did not have air-con, fridge or hot drink facilities. Breakfast was included but was quite basic and the staff, although very pleasant, were not as attentive as other Accor group hotels - they appeared over-stretched at times.
Hotel appeared to be relatively new (or it's been well maintained!). All parts of the hotel were clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was included in the price and was available from 6.30 which was handy for us as we had an early departure. Bed was very comfortable and room, although not huge, was adequate for a one night stay. Hotel also situated not far from a hypermarket.
We had no faults at all with this hotel. The service, bedroom and decor were good and the hotel delivered pretty much what you would expect from a no frills hotel. Value for money very good, especially booking well in advance.
Room was clean and quiet, 2nd floor as requested. Had one English speaking channel on TV. Had a good meal in the restaurant during the evening and good breakfast. Paid for half board which is a good deal for the money. It pays to book up well in advance to get best price. Staff helpful as usual. Tea, coffee, and kettle in lobby, no milk, but normal for France.
The Hotel was in a very convinient location to rest on my way to Germany in a very quiet area and the service was very gentle, but the bathroom was quiet old and not clean. The breakfast included n the offer was very good
Our room was clean, beds were comfortable and service was excellent. However the evening buffet was pretty ordinary as was the breakfast. However, this is a budget hotel and we would probably have another overnight there but eat elsewhere !
Good hotel very modern and clean. Good value for money with a good breakfast in the price. Half board works out to be a good deal with a two course and a drink in the price. The price on the reservation was the price paid. Could we have coffee available with the tea in the reception, please.
Located outside Briive la Gaillarde it is the usual Ibis Style: clean, efficient, breakfast and free parking included, with an acceptable restaurant for dinner since it is outside the residential area. The staff is friendly. Place is quiet. When using Wifi to access internet on an iPad with a pop-up blocker it connected quickly but after 1,5 to 2 hours disconnected, only to restart after a hard reset on the iPad. After a few times no connection anymore.
Stayed here whilst passing through France. Hotel was easy to find and a slightly better option than a "normal" Ibis. The check in procedure was however chaotic. The reception staff also have to take charge of the bar and restaurant, so when we arrived the reception desk was deserted. After a few minutes trying to get some attention we finally managed to check in. Another problem was the "free" tea and coffee making facilities in the reception. When we arrived all the cups and water had run out, and when we asked for a coffee due to no cups we found out the next day that they had added the 2 coffees to the bill! It seems they are cutting corners by getting the reception staff to do other jobs at the same time. If you arrive when its busy then things are a bit all over the place. The staff were however friendly and polite when you could locate them. The rooms were adequate and slightly better then a bog standard Ibis. The big difference is the beds. Much more sumptuous and comfy than normal. Breakfast was the usual Ibis continental buffet. Nothing outstanding, just perfectly adequate to get you going. All in all the only reason I would choose a "Styles" over a normal Ibis would be the beds. Everything else is pretty much standard.
We found this hotel generally above average in all aspects. The one disappointment was a very long wait between first and second courses in the restaurant, so long that one couple who arrived after us had left before we were served the second course. It is usefully close to the motorway, but not the easiest to find - the "Budget" is more obvious, but the sign for the "Style" was mostly obscured by the budget sign and a road sign at the entrance. We found it quiet and slept well. We'd use it again, but maybe skip a meal and go elsewhere.
