The hotel is very basic. I found strange they offer 1 towel per person. Rooms are in the small size specially for 4 people it borders on uncomfortable. No where to seat but the bed. Not a hanger or place to put your clothes in the bathroom while having a shower. Your outside coat must be hanged with your clean clothes ( a simple hook behind doors will do the trick). Breakfast room too small. If the hotel is full you will need to take turns to have breakfast. Breakfast is basic but good. People at reception helpful and polite. It is a hotel for business people perhaps as it lacks warmth for a family holiday. Good location and quiet area. We walked everywhere from there. Plenty of restaurants caffees and even supermarkets. All in all good experience but expensive for what it is but perhaps this is paris?
Barely speaking english, the is no parking space as mencioned on the booking, really bad breakfast and to make it even special the elevator was broken and our room was at the 7 floor. But the location is good
5 nights and no support, they really didn't care, at least was how i felt. For example, We had a cold room during the winter, they gave us a noise warmer, impossible to sleep. They have this "slogan" That says something like: we try so solve the problem in 15min... i don't think they even tryied.
Only one block from the Cadet Metro underground, this is a great location to explore the very best of Paris with convenient Metro and Bus transportation. This property should meet the needs of all guests. The rooms are efficient, clean and well designed. This property will work firne
Within easy walking distance of the Seine ,shops and some sights. A clean and friendly hotel . Our room was on the top floor and although quite small had good views and little street/ car noise. There was air conditioning but no tea or coffee facilities. Quite a basic hotel but bright clean and adequate for 2 nights. Ther was a small bar near reception where a very pleasant gentleman attended at night.
The service was ok, we checked in online before hand so it took less than a minute to get the key to our room when we arrived, pricing for the location is reasonable as it's right next to the opera house, very near everything you may want to see during your trip, rooms could have been abit nicer as I requested a room with a pleasant view as it was my boyfriends birthday however my request want mentioned upon our arrival nor acknowledged. Overall average.
When making the reservation we booked breakfast for the whole family and we got the confirmation showing that it was included for 2 adults and 1 child. However, at the hotel, they argued it was a mistake on their web page and we had to pay for our child's breakfast. My daughter Threw up and they didn't clean it up.
The property certainly met expectations and actually exceeded them for the Ibis name. From the reception, the room and to the breakfast room, this hotel met all our requirements. The room was slightly larger than normal and all amenities worked perfectly. The location is a little away from the main commercial area but is close to Gallery Lafayette and Sacre Coeur . There are plenty of good value restaurants close buy. Good value for money
My wife and I love the area around the Palais Garnier Opera House, and this Ibis hotel is perfectly situated. We could walk to Palais Garnier and pass by numerous restaurants and cafes (including some of our favorites in Paris). The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. When we visit Paris again, we will stay here.
The room was perfect for us, the staff was patient and very helpful, and the hotel has a wonderful location (just 2 blocks from a little grocery store and two great little restaurants, and a very short walk from Galleries Lafayette and l'Opera)!
We stayed just 2 days. Our room was small but very quiet.Everything was fine. The location of the hotel is good. You can find whatever you want in the hotel area.Metro statiton(cadet) is near too.If you are looking for a average hotel, choose it.
The hotel is at good location, just 2 min walk from metro Cadet station, the suburb is quiet and clean. Nearby you can find many good restaurants, supermarket, pharmacies, and fast food shops. The front desk staff is very helpful and provide assistance to meet your needs.
The Ibis Hotel Paris Opera La Fayette is not luxurious, but it is a comfortable, clean, basic hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Try to avoid rooms on the 8th floor, because of the slanted ceilings. Word of advice to American travelers: bring wash cloths. The hotel only provides large bath towels. Although they will give you extra towels on request, those of us who rely on wash cloths find this inconvenient. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and to recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
We stayed 5 nights and overall, we enjoyed the hotel. Our plan was to be out every day and return in the evenings to relax and plan the next day. There aar good local restaurants and bars nearby in the middle price range which suited us. The nearby Cadet Metro was a great feature. Breakfasts were adequate and we liked the 24hour free coffee machine on the lower ground floor. Bit noisy at night if you sleep at the front of the hotel with the windows open. A rear room is preferable. Next time?
Four nights / 5 days in Paris, it rained for three days but we had the benefit of staying at Opera La Fayette which is actually closer to Cadet Metro than anywhere. We hit it lucky as we were provided with a room on the eighth floor which being a loft conversion room was a good size, there were only four rooms on this floor and it meant it was quiet and we had a view over the rooftops. The actual view was an inward view over a courtyard so we had no traffic noise to contend with. As stated the room was spacious for a "Paris" room and the bathroom was also a good size. Breakfast was served in the basement and the selection was very good. The location of this hotel was good, Montmartre and Sacre Coeur was within was comfortable walking distance. We actually walked from the Louvre on one day and Notre Dame on another back to the hotel and there are so many interesting things to see on the way, especially the many lanes filled with interesting shops and interesting architecture. Very enjoyable despite the rain.
We stayed last week from January 15 for four nights in this hotel. I only have good words with the attention we received, especially mentioning Mickael in reception. We came from Spain and arrived just in time to drop the luggage and go out for dinner. The room was perfect for us, and everything worked out fine. The sofa was very good to sleep in and the room was quiet. A standard Ibis room with every normal aspect. We didn´t try out the breakfast buffet, since we left early every day. A good place I would recommend 250 meters away from the hotel is Caramel Sarrasin, They have a wonderful menu at night for 23 € with Crepes and Galette. Search for them in google they are in 47 Rue du Faubourg Montmartre, In overall the quality/price is very good for this hotel, you have many places around and the metro Cadet is next to hotel 100 meters away. We will come back!! Thank you Mickael!!
-Located in a good area, close to Cadet subway station -Clean -Friendly for family -Good breakfast -There is no vault neither mini bar in the room and these are the negative points. -Front Desk people are nice. -Even with the negative points that I've mentioned above, I recommend the hotel.
Great location. Arrived late but the staff know me and there was no trauma. Good location to the Metro and when arriving from the airports. My business hotel of choice. Plenty of places to eat nearby.
Perfect business hotel. Excellent small breakfast. Nice beds. Walking distance to Galleries Lafayette and Opera Gardiner. Staff recommended my enrolling in the Ibis Business Traveler Card which also saved me 15% on my stay.
very good location. good value for money. some of the team gave very good service, especially marie; some less. minuses - room cleaness every day, lack of opportunity to keep private things at the fridge (unless marie arranged it; need to pay for lockers after checking out
