Although this hotel is one of the very few hotels in Hua Hin that allows pets, DO NOT bring your pet here. I was walking my small Havanese directly across the street from the hotel (literally 30 meters away) when three dogs bolted out of the makeshift food stall bloicking the sidewalk and attacked her while on a leash. As I jumped on her (injuring myself), a dog bit me. If my wife or anyone else not so quick would have been walking her, she would have been torn to shreds before their eyes. The hotel security guard saw the whole thing and never even yelled to get the dogs off of her. I called the police and they talked to the owner who still refuses to pay anything (my dog is still in the hospital 2 weeks later) and said they had told the hotel to warn their guests NOT to come across the street with dogs. I don't know if that's trye or not, but I do know that the hotel staff seemed indifferent and when I tried to borrow one of their cheap luggage carts to take my dog to the hospital (she had a huge hole in her belly), they refused. No compassion whatsoever. BEWARE of this hotel.
I stayed two nights with my family The hotel is well located & facilities are perfect for a short break Transportation to the town is easy & inexpensive Most of all, the management & staff of this hotel are so very friendly & helpful I would definitely return
I blame myself for not looking at the map on Accors website! We decided to walk from the trains station, thinking it was only a few blocks. 5-6kms later, we arrived at the hotel. It is now where near the centre of Hua Hin, maybe a 4km. For eating we walked 20-30 mins to a shopping mall. Technically this place is not in Hua Hin as we passed the city limits sign on the way. It was a weekend so the place was packed, seemingly with Chinese tour groups. There seemed to e.g. Some sort of dog convention on as the place was heading with dogs. Apparently, the hotel is dog friendly but signs clearly state - one dog per room. We saw many people with 3 or 4. We love dogs but really don't want to be surrounded by them in a hotel. It was quite noisy most nights for some reason these tour groups need to prop their room doors open and shout to one another down the corridors. Apart from these gripes, it was a standard ibis - you know what you are getting basic, but good quality accomodation. We stay in Accor hotels at all levels all over the world. This is one we definitely won't be returning to.
I enjoyed my stay at the IBIS Hau Hin the rooms are clean and the breakfast was good value even asking for a poached egg was not to much trouble. Handy to the beach and the shuttle service worked extremely well. Close to the night markets at the weekend and just overall a good place to stay the rooms are a good size as well
nice, clean, comfortable many kind of food for breakfast. clean room and fit for 2 persons. good location--near Huahin downtown, Khao Takieb and Huahin beach. awesome drinks at the hotel's bar. Average price.
Well, we get there before noon hoping to be able to check-in early but no chance since it was after new year. They told us to come back usual checkin time ( 2pm) we got back half past 2, rooms are not ready and we were told to wait 45 mins more. Ended up waiting for 20 mins they gave us room and free late check out. So she tried at least. And it's not great resort hotel so u can't expect much but it's Cheap, clean and if you travel with your pet this is pretty good deal I think. We didn't know this hotel was pet friendly hotel but we got no pet zone which located 5th and 6th floor.
We traveled to Hua Hin by train and took song teaw to the hotel, about 4km away from train station. The reception hall is modern and clean but the lounge is quite worn out. Check in staff is friendly, no hassle. The room is clean but quite small for a couple however we manage to fit in well. We are disappointed that Hau Hin has grown up too big and crowded.
I have stayed in many hotels through my 25 yrs of travelling. Ibis Hua Hin really impressed me with their services. From the security guards, waitresses, house keeping to the reception, the services rendered by a 3-star hotel was above my expectations.
Property is okay as a business hotel. Insufficient parking is an issue; guests with barking dogs are an issue and the food is dreadful. All the negatives aside the personnel are terrific; smiling accommodating and the rooms offer everything you need and nothing you don't need.
The room was small but It's very clean and tidy. The Ibis is well located and they are providing free shuttle between Ibis and the Clock Tower. Very impressive for me is good service of staff. Security guard entrance to the hotel is very good-natured.
At the end of an 8 day visit to Thailand my brother and I, and our partners opted for a short break in the centre of Hua Hin. The Ibis Hua Hin is a lovely little hotel - great service, nice clean rooms, lovely pool and very convenient location. It was a short stroll to the beach, restaurants, markets and shopping. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed visiting the local sights - floating markets, temples winery etc. This hotel is great value for money and I would certainly stay again if passing through Hua Hin.
Relaxed here driving en route and return to Bangkok. Comfortable hotel with ok swimming pool and short walk to the beach and sea. Very good breakfast and meals......the Valentines Day fish special was particularly delicious.
Good location not too far from the market and Market Village, friendly & accommodating staff, ample breakfast selections. The only downside was no bedroom slippers provided and the room service was self-service.
Last week I have a chance to stay at Ibis Hua Hin Hotel for business. The location is easy to find. The service of hotel is very nice. Thank you so much for your warmly welcome. I think I will return to stay here again.
We visited Hua Hin early Dec for 7 days we had room on top floor over looking swimming pool it was excellent. All staff friendly and hotel, room and grounds spotless. As with all Ibis hotels value for money perhaps wish a set of drawers for clothes but we managed. Hotel is about 300 metres to a large beautiful beach perfect for walking about 5 to 10 mins you will find sun beds.
This hotel is located a 5 minute walk from the beach, a 10 min shuttle / tuktuk / taxi ride from the night market and centre of town, and 15 min taxi ride from train station. Air conditioning in lobby, restaurant and rooms a welcome change from the hot and humid outdoor weather. But not too cold to make you ill. Swimming pool nicely maintained, lying area/seats in sun and shade. When busy not much room for swimming though as not huge. Rooms spacious and clean, bathroom with soap and shower gel with nice quality towels. We passed many other hotels around Hua Hin, and some do have garden that backs on to the beach, which the Ibis does not. However, the location, quality and price of this hotel made it the perfect place to stay on our trip. The only issue we had throughout our 4 night stay was on our first day, we wanted to try the taster menu at the restaurant, but were given 5 full plates instead due to the member of staff misunderstanding the order. Apart from that, all staff emmbers really friendly and helpful. There's a much cheaper laundry service on the opposite side of the road about 10 minutes walk to the left (away from town) called Smile Laundry. Cost 80 Baht / kg including ironing and was ready next day. Cicada weekend market on Fri/Sat/Sun worth visiting, much less chaotic than the town's main night market, well organised and a good selection of food and crafts. Slightly more expensive, but a lot easier to walk around. On way to cicada market, pop in to Jasmine Spa & Massage. Very friendly, good foot and oil massages, and great prices. Tesco Lotus shop also on way to cicada market, about 5 mins walk from hotel. You can buy big bottles of water much cheaper than at the hotel, and also stock up with iced tea and other snacks. At the night market in town (you can take the shuttle bus from hotel) you can eat a variety of seafood dishes and other local plates, have foot massages in the street for 99 baht (although mosquitos also love it) and see lots of crafts and clothes to buy. Market Village is a mall with a food court, and also lots of shops, clothes, nail and beauty places etc, and all air-conditioned if you prefer not to sweat whilst eating.
Small but comfort and just enough for 2 persons. Near to cicada market but little bit far from city. Walking distance 10-20 minutes. The front desk friendly and helpful but need to improve a bit English. One thing unsatisfied is the room keeper. When I asking for changing the bed sheet, she show black face. Although is my mistake because my baby pee on the bed sheet when changing diaper.
It's a budget hotel, so its expected you accomplish most of your things for yourself, however the staff is eager to help. For instance for room service, you need to go down to the restaurant and collect your food, for luggage you take care of it on your own, trolleys provided.
After my first stay at I bis for many months ago .This was my second time staying at I bis Hua Hin. Me & my family loved the relaxing time at I bis with the warm welcome of all staffs, the room was clean and comfortable, when we stayed at the hotel we feeled safe and relax. The hotel location was still perfect easily walking to the beach, near a fisherman community on Khao Takieb, where we can find a fresh & reasonable price seafood. We loved this small & comfy hotel.
It s nice location in huahin, near by new chic style night weekend market called cicada by easy walk. Room is clean and comfort during stays with good view swimming pool which can be enjoyable as needed. Staff are nice with great hospitality.
