We stayed here for 2 nights, it is affordable, clean without any frills, there are 2 Hotels next to each other Red (frills) and Blue (no frills), we stayed in the Blue due to price. We stayed in the Red in Warsaw and the difference was nothing much, they are both decent hotels with nothing exceptional. A hair dryer was available from the reception, where the Red had one in the room. The close proximity (3 min walk) to the Krakow Glowny station and mall was a bonus, all the shopping and food you want available there. The Old town and market was a 15 mins quiet walk. Even though I have given 3 stars this Hotel is recommended and is decent if you get a good price.

If you are the type who likes to be surrounded by nice things and enjoys a certain lifestyle I doubt this is the hotel for you. Upon stepping foot in the room, I instantly got a whiff of what reminded me of a care home for the elderly. The decor is very minimal and the Bed is a piece of foam on a plank of wood (queen size however). The finishings in the room remind me of an old hospital (perhaps that is what it once was). However, the rooms are clean. The service staff are very friendly and the windows are sound proofed so you won’t hear the trains from the station across the street. TV and Wifi are available. Overall, not a terrible hotel if you’re looking for a bargain but if you like a little more lustre in your life go to the Mercure down the street.

This is the third visit to this hotel. Very clean,friendly staff and very reasonably priced in central location in Krakow. Will use again without doubt. We are frequent users of the ACCOR hotel chain and always a warm welcome,

The room had one single and one double bed and had a very good space for luggage. It was bigger than usual rooms for Ibis Budget. Location of the hotel was very good too. Very close the the train station and to downtown Krakow. There are food and beverage machines in the hall and in its side another Ibis with a 24 hr restaurant.

Well placed,well priced hotel. Easily accesible and convenient to everything. Helpful staff - patient with requests and quick to provide solutions to queries. rooms both comfortable and practical with a high standard of housekeeping. Breakfast buffet well stocked and replenished; only criticism- cramped dining facilities

More than adequate hotel just north (10 min dawdle) of Old Town and very close to railway station and shopping centre. Underground tram stop close by if you're going a bit further. First the hotel - fairly typical Ibis Etap with public areas in good condition, reception OK, staff friendly and efficient, public internet connection which worked fine for me as I don't carry a smartphone or Ipad. Next, the typical Ibis room - clean and in good decorative condition, bed on the hard side but comfortable, TV with enough language options, basic other furnishings, shower pod with strong shower, more power points than the average Budget. Last, location. As already noted , location is good, particularly for Old Town. Podgordze or Kazimierz are a bit of a yomp but can be reached in 30 minutes on foot, quicker using the tram. All pubs, restaurants, music bars and sightseeing in Old Town within easy reach. Small supermarket adjacent, other shops within 5 minutes walk. Breakfast was in my deal so I had it! Adequate, filling and varied enough but might not suit everyone. At this price you won't get anything really special but you can go to a nearby restaurant or hotel for that - and probably pay close to the price of the room here for it! Lastly, they looked after my luggage for the day when i checked out. I'd definitely stay here again.

Near old town. Near commercial spot. Good room (we stayed on room for 3 persons). Good cleaning. The thing we didn’t like so much was breakfast: need more care with cleaning tables and seats, need improve quality of products.

Rooms were as pictured. Small but, clean. Great location next to train station. Very helpful staff. I needed to print a few things and they did it for me. They saved me a trip to find a print shop. One thing that could be improved: the blanket was too warm. Maybe a thinner blanket should be available.

Good value for the money, but very crowded and narrow breakfast room partially due to frequent busloads of guests. Good location near city center, the main train station and bus terminal. Very helpful staff. I will probably use it again.

Nice, clean, typical Ibis. Good location - leave your car and walk to the Old Town, the central Market Square on foot. Staff friendly, parking very good, though not much space. Room for three was spacious enough.

Very handy for station, short walk into the old town. Room was clean and adequate. Main problem was only one small towel per person, one larger towel would have been fine. Only one pillow provided, charge for additional which is disappointing especially as I had a back problem at the time. Hardly any storage space so lived out of suitcase for 4 days. However this hotel does offer fantastic value for money. The breakfast is also really good value.

Ibis budget is located next to Krakow station. We stayed in a comfortable room with bright colours but without amenities such as shampoo/shower samples. Breakfast is very good though it has no big variety. I will definitely choose/suggest it in the future.

My 2nd time at this hotel, great location, great staff & a pleasant stay. Very handy for the train station and the centre of the city, next to a very large shopping mall. will be back on my next trip to Krakow.

Very close to Krakow Growny station. Secure underground parking. Friendly staff. Plenty of food and drink places within 5 minute walk. Old town only a 10 minute walk. Tram stop virtually outside door. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Recommended.

The stay was pleasant. The service was helpful and kind. The room was clean and neat. I would suggest changing the photocell in the toilet into an ordinary light switch. I would also like to suggest making the parking free for the customers (or at least lowering the price).

Very happy with my stay. Hotel is clean and modern, within walking distance (500 yards?) of Krakow Glowny. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Room was very quiet, as long as the windows were closed. It is a budget hotel, so bring your own shampoo, hair dryer, and soap (soap was provided, but the bars were very tiny). Bathroom is not separated from the room, but the lack of privacy wasn't a problem for a solo traveler. I definitely would stay here again.

The location of the hotel was good with a 15-20 min walk into the Walled City, clean and friendly services. The Breakfast was ample and reasonably priced with a fair selection. The staff were accommodating and the food good. The beer and spirit prices are horribly high priced and well out of balance with the rest of the city (even in the City Square)

compact room but very clean ;very kind staff in front desk;good location near central station,tram lines and shopping centers;just 15 minutes walking from old town and main tourist sights;basic but good breakfast;

Always happy with IBIS Hotels and their budget braches just as good - all that one needs for a good break, a comfortable bed and a hot shower. This hotel is very close to the railway station and a big shopping centre and a 10 minute walk to the Old Town. Also on a tram line and the hop on hop off bus stops just outside station. Breakfast was adequate and very reasonable.
