The location is pretty central. Rooms are clean. Good service by friendly people. Stay 4 days with no bad feeling. What else can a traveler expect from an hotel. I reccomend for all travellers on business trip.
As a frequent traveller, I can compare, and this Ibis is by miles outpassing Ibis in France, Germany, Belgium etc. Even much better than Mercure by Accor in Paris. Very polite yet efficient staff. Excellent breakfast. Almost full breakfast available from 4 a.m. - not even major airport hotels offer that.
Very good choice if you need good hotel in the center of Kiev. 10 min walk from railway station, metro some 5 minutes walk. Hotel room is worth its money, excellent bed - had very good sleep, no noise. Bathroom bizzar - getting into shower demands some acrobatic skills. Air conditioner was living its own life nomatter how you you tune controller. Tolerable for 2 nights.
The hotel meets the expectations I have for an Ibis hotel. Even if the room is small, the bed is good and its clean. The restaurant is the surprise, they have a real, open, kitchen with a chef and the courses are of quite good quality. I actually ate there most of the evenings. Friendly staff in the restaurant and reception. A good experience !
There is no car driveway to the hotel and short term parking for cars or taxi. There is no lobby and place to meet your quests. The TV in the room has about 20", but you will find Ukrainian and all important foreign TV channels. The WiFi is work really good. You need to ask for minbar. Normally it's empty and turned off.
Large firm bed, fluffy pillows, well stocked bathroom, strong water pressure and heat, easy walk to shops and restaurants, pleasant service, good breakfast and bar. I would stay here anytime I come to Kiev, thanks!
Sixth time staying there this year and no reason for me to wish to stay anywhere else. Sensible price, nice rooms, varied breakfast, decent evening meals but most importantly the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The location is good for other restaurants, shops and is a relatively short walk over towards Independence Square. Can't fault the place.
Friendly staff and good breakfast, high overall service quality. My only concern is that there is no floor carpet in the room, this makes it less comfortable. Good location, usable wifi connection. Poor quality of TV channels.
I always stay at this hotel in Kiev It is always a great place to stay and value for money. The only problem I had this time was room 1316. It rained for two nights and the noise from this inside the room was incredible. We both didn't get a wink of sleep. That aside, as soon as I asked to be moved it was promptly dealt with. The staff here are wonderful. I will be staying again this November do don't let my comment about the noise put you off.
I booked a standard room for my recent business trip to Kiev Ukraine. I asked whether I can have an electric kettle and was very disappointed the answer given was I booked standard room so cannot have kettle.
The Hotel is located very close to the Railway Station (ideal for the bus from Borysphil Airport. The Staff were welcoming and always very helpful. The room was very clean as was the toilet and shower. The breakfast was really good, as was the selection for the evening meal and was good well cooked food.
Good location short walk to the metro. Very quiet area, staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Nice to have a fridge in the room and complimentary bottle of water. It was my birthday while I was there and they left some fruit in the room. Good view from the room
IBIS is always the best ! In the breakfast there is a lot of kind.Location is also on the one of the famous street in Kiev.We were really happy to stay there so any time again... You can trust ibis anywhere..
It was not my first stay at IBIS Kiev City Center. And it was good as all previous. Kind staff, central location, very good breakfast, a lot of bars and restaurants nearby, not far from metro. Of course it’s IBIS and you can’t expect something luxury and outstanding. But for budget business traveling it’s very convenient and adequate. Strongly recommend!
The hotel fully met my expectations: central location, wifi free of charge, the room very appropriate for working too, clean, peaceful, friendly staff and smooth service, good breakfast and restaurant service all in all. I will be back for business and holiday! Thank you!
As usually with Íbis Hotels, not a very large, but a very clean room & bathroom, with a great buffet at breakfast. Location not very far away from railway station, but away from main atractions in Kyiv
Welcoming staff, always ready to answer your questions. Polite and ready to help you, i highly recommand you to enjoy a nice stay there! Breakfast is good, the staff is always smiling. Very close from city center and subway 200m from there
The hotel has a typical IBIS standart. Rooms are atisfactory, baths are clean. The hotel was so quiet therefore sleeping quality was good. Breakfast is rich in selection. The only problem was the room temperature. On transition period the rooms are quiet cold and fancoils are still in cooling mode. The location of the hotel is good and quiet close to a metro station.
I was a 1st time internal traveller. Last trip from Vancouver was 5 years ago to mexico for 1 week. I was learner as I went and the 1st think I learned was that who ever makes the decisions for Air Canada has never tried his own system. You can't even read your ticket without help from the employees who have to use their computer to figure it out for you. Enough said about that. When I finally made it tô Kiev at midnight, 47 hours after I started, they gave me a nice clean room and I was able to get some food. Having said that I was never told before I left, and I did ask, what money should I carry and was told Euros and a credit card. Yes I got my hotel and SOME food but found out to buy a beer or wine and certain breakfasts you need Ukraine currency. The staff were so kind and understanding of my situation about many things I will return and spend the night again just to visit again with them and say thanks from Canada !
Staff was very kind and helpful, I just had to ask. They speak English very well. The room was comfortable, beautiful (I like its style) and clean. I did like the practical furniture, enough to keep my things but leaves space. I also appreciate the courtesy of one free bottle of mineral water in the room as welcome gift. On the other hand, fridge was empty but second floor bar was open so I had no problem with that. The only negative point I can mention is the air conditioner that works only one directional tool depending on the season (cooling in summer and heating in winter).
