I've been a loyal member of Accorhotels chain for quite a long period. Unfortunately this was the first time at Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod when i didn't feel myself not even welcomed as a loyal member but even as just being in Accorhotels chain. The problems started even at prepayment stage and continued simultaneously during the whole stay -even at checkout. So i can't recommend Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod to anyone at least for now - hope my feedback will help the management to pay attention for Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod and improve the current status and allow this hotel to be a prominent part of the Accorhotel Chain.1)my room rate was 100% prepayment. So the payment was conducted at the same date when i make the reservation: 13.10.2017. For some reason i was charged again by Ibis Nizhniy Novgorod at 02.11.2017 - i sent request to the hotel asking to clarify what had happened at 03/11/2017 - i have received no answer here yet. When checked in at the hotel i asked at the reception about this issue: unfortunately i had no clear answer, just was informed by reception staff that i will get the answer at check out. Unfortunately during the check out manager Shukhrat wasn't able to explain me clearly what has happened: in quite rude and nervous manner he told me kind of "you know it happens sometimes". 2) The staff at the reception desk gave me wrong info about breakfast slots. 3) i ask if it's possible to park my car at the hotel parking and the answer was NO again in absolutely unfriendly manner. I ask to keep me posted if there will be any possibility - unfortunately i had no feedback here. 4)at breakfast i asked the restaurant staff if it's possible to order fried eggs because i'm used to enjoy this meal each time i stay in Ibis - the answer was NO: the staff marked that usually there is such an opportunity but not today because there are too many guest and there is only one cook at the kitchen (frankly speaking there were around 3 or 4 tables occupied ). 5) the table with vegetables and yogurts is located very inconvenient to to take anything from it. 6) welcome drink voucher was proposed only for one person (though we ordered double room) 7) if i got it correctly there is no local wifi in the hotel - only city wifi , so the connection was very unstable. 8) the sink wasn't clean enough 9) there was only one power socker near the bed 10)the bed wasn't made as it's always made at Ibis



I stayed two nights at Ibis Nizhny Novgorod. I could say now that it was excellent experience. Very helpful and friendly staff. A girl at reception kindly explained me how to go to some attraction in the city. I also received welcome drink and a small gift. Room was clean. Bed is very comfortable, snow-white bed linen. There are about 20 channels on TV, also in English and other languages. There is wonderful city view from window. All this is for reasonable price.



Very good location, near the pedestrian area and all other kinds of transportation. Not far from the Kremlin. Well maintained hotel, clean and with helpful staff. The rooms are standard but comfortable.



Generally a good location but it was a bit strange that all the snow around the hotel was moved to the hotel entrance, making 2-3 meter snow hills. The snow melted and there was a lot of water at the very entrance. Meanwhile there was almost no snow or water in other locations around hotel. Looked like a strange approach to hotel area management; probably snow cleaners were not paid enough and they left their work unfinished. Very limited number of amenities in the room, other NIzhny Novgorod hotels are generally cheaper and better equipped (coffee-makers, fridges, baths), they also provide MUCH better view from the windows.



It was bad stay. "15-minutes warranty" is not applicable in this hotel. 1. At 8th floor the water pressure is too low. I have seen in the comment in the guest book that in some rooms there was no water at all. It could be true! 2. In cold days the room could be cold. Central heating system works in winter time only. There are probably some individual heater in the hotel. But their number is definitely less that the number of rooms. SO, ask before arrival! 3. In the early morning time the breakfast is available but there is nothing to eat (French breakfast with stale bread). Therefore light is not lighting in the restoran area. Thus, it is better to eat at the train station? you will get much better food for the same money.



Hotel is so so... Just a breakfast and cleanliness of the room was OK! Very difficult to get to the parking place, a lot of holes on the road... Also you have to pay 200 RUB per day and get a special card for getting to the parking. AC works not correct, only heat mode was available. This is a central AC and it was installed for a winter mode in May.... lol I saw opened room doors due the very high temperature at the room... Also we`ve got an issue with payment a part of our stay with accor points... This issue was successfully solved and we got a present from hotel at the room - fruit plate! No coffee/tea facilities at the room. No glasses, no minibar... Very expensive bottled water at the reception area, 100 RUB for a half of litter. And the last issue, a problem with hot water at bathroom! My friend couldn't take a shower on the departure day... I had a cold shower. lol Actually 15 minutes service doesn't work! I'm not recommend this hotel due the small issues. Generally we have got a great time in Nizhny Novgorod!



The Hotel is nicely located near the city center and about 60m from the Metro. The staff are courteous and efficient, spoke English OK. The Breakfast is quite good, I am pleased. Typical of iBis the room is rather small with small bed but clean, so good for short stay just to rest and sleep. The WiFi works well during the stay. It would have been better if there is a kettle in the room.



Good hotel, Short walk away from the walking street where there are plenty of bars and places to eat, not the Ritz but no complaints for the money paid, Only a shwould stay again in this hotel if i came back to Russia:)



I would reccomend this hotel for peapole who are going to travel round the city. Location is around 10 minits from center street (pedestrian). And not far (6 min) from English Embassy Pub. (also worth visiting) Hotel: Price = service. No safe boxes and refregirators in rooms this is bad. but for a two star - ok. Nice hotel. (4 out of 5 stars)
