I didn’t get a housekeeping service during the time I was staying at this hotel. Housekeepers were rude and made laugh of me because I couldn’t understand German. In the end, they never cleaned up my room. Besides from this, the room was very comfortable and breakfast was fine. You can take a metro easily to get to the center of Vienna, however the street were the hotel is located was kind of isolated.

Stayed at Ibis Budget Wien Messe during our recent Euro trip. Average hotel, value for money. Good breakfast buffet, only 5 mins walk to closest train station and 10 mins walk to the Prater Amusement Park!!

Internet was not good. Bed sheets were not cleaned. I didn't like the idea of having separate toilets and washrooms and sinks. Location is very good, close to a main metro station of the city. Good value for money.

Very Simple room. Basic equipment. A wardrobe for the clothes would be good to have. But at least the price is reasonable. It is a pity that it is not possible to collect points for the Accor hotels card

Location excellent, people very kind, rooms clean, for the money it's perfect. Except car parking was a little problem but nothing that's can't be solved. From what i was expecting it was all better. 😁

All where as usual excellent. The staff is very helpfull and kind.Especially the staff in reception is amazing. They are always with a smile and there are no question of yours that they dont't Know to answer.I come from Greece and this hotel has always something from my country. This is Mrs Karagouni! For me is very important to have someone who speak your mother language to help you.So every time I am in this hotel I feel like home.A very nice hotel near Vienna center.U1 line is near you.Two U1 metro stations.Vorgarten straße and Praterstern.

I had a double bed for one person at this hotel for four nights. Why architects think it's a good idea to put a transparent shower cubicle in the middle of a room for two people, I don't know: not everyone wants to see someone else showering or be seen when showering. Nevertheless, it was fine for single use. Clean sheets; thin, firm mattress. There were no comforts in the room, however, so it was really just a place to rest one's head. I sleep lightly and was woken about 6:20 am each day by the (quiet) cleaners using the lift (which chimed), and by their cleaning carts trundling down the corridors. Close to a metro stop and the Riesenrad. I found it best to eat in the city centre before returning to the hotel, since there is not much on offer in the vicinity. Breakfast wasn't bad - although a mixed fruit salad, rather than just a bowl of apples, would have been welcome.

Very basic. Clean room well laid out. but a hard mattress. The upper shower holder was cracked so the shower worked well on the wall not on me. The loo light switched off on a timer. The loo door kept swinging closed

Didn't expect much, so the "hotel" (aka Hostel by another name) delivered. Room was spartan, two fixed single beds and the bathroom. The shower was really bizzare, frosted glass in the main sleeping room. That was awkward traveling with my daughter. Unlike a hostel though, no kitchen area to heat water or fix something to eat.

We stayed one night in this hotel due to a spontaneous visit in Vienna. We just needed a place to shower and sleep the night and that is what we got. The room was clean but the interior, even though quite new, reminded us of jail most probably because of its simplicity and colour choices. The drain of the sink didn't function, which was inconvenient. The bed was uncomfortable to sleep in. Definitely not a room you want to hang out in. We paid 55€ for the night without breakfast and would definitely not want to pay more. We ended up having breakfast at the hotel. The restaurant area is best described as school cafeteria style. The breakfast itself was very basic but good value for the money paid (6,80€ per person).

Almost perfect! Just a bath that I was missing. Otherwise, the view from my room was great, quiet, clean and accessible for public transportation. Nice staff and breakfast is great with good quality of brown bread. The value of money is excellent as the location of the hotel is close to the center of Vienna and not to far from the airport. The fare for public transport is fairly cheap compare to UK and very efficient, never been late or over crowded! I enjoyed most was the Sight Seeing Bus tour Hop on Hop Off. If you are fun of sea food. Don't forget to go to North Sea Restaurant in Stephanplatz!

The room was clean and bed quite comfortable, but the overall experience was like in the clinic.. it was not a lot of space, shower and sink were very close to the bed and toilet only behind the "push" doors. The lighting system was nicely done, so you can turn off the light from the bed and at night turn on only led light around the room without waking up the other person.

I stay frequently in this hotel as it is situated close to my work. Staff is efficient, rooms modest but clean (with AC which was important end of August). Also, walking distance from cafes at Donau Isel at Danube.

Silent and clean room in the hotel with friendly staff. So almost no noise can disturb me even I have stayed more than twice at several floor that I dont remember. The price was cheap even 3-5min from subway. Restaurant and supermarket are close just 1-2 block from the hotel. Im highly recommend this hotel.

Being used to budget hotels, IBIS Budget Messe Wien was in the lower end. Closet-door to the toilet. Shower in "the middle" of the room. "Doll house" sink. There are many good intentions, but ending some awkward. The green fake-tree LED stripe on the wall seemed ridiculous compared to the absense of a normal chair. A small glowing light in the mirror was also not intelligent compared to the toilet "door", or the overall absense of "something": Decoration, coat hangers, a proper little table. A beating by my travel friends who found lovely appartments around for 15 - 20 EURs more.

Nice and friendly staff, safe neighborhood, very close to the metro, easy to get to the Inner City and touristic attractions. The second time I registered at the hotel, there were loud costumers, even at night.

Staff was very helpfull and kind all times. Good location: close to 2 different subway lines and also from the airport train line (about 10 min walking). Cleaning service was disapoiting... not as efficient as it could and should be!!

Hotel was good for a basic style type but beware of the City travel card card sold at the hotel and elsewhere. The booklet that comes with it contains errors about where it is valid which resulted in me being fined 90Euros by the OBB ticket inspectors.

Value for money indeed for this hotel. We got the room that we requested (though it's dusty...when i looked under the bed...housekeeping need to do their job better). Nevertheless, room size is adequate. Be ready for the shower to be part of the room...water pressure is great at the 9th floor. Quiet area...near to Billa! All else is fine...

Very good value for money. Close to subway in Prater area. The rooms have minimal facilities but the price is low, even in periods when Vienna is crowded. Breakfast don't have many choices. The main advantages are price and location
