A warm welcome with complimentary drink. A comfortable and quiet room. Very convenient for the Rockhal venue, station and shops. Breakfast buffet was adequate but not extensive.Would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Hotel is located in a shopping and business area, some kilometers away from Esch. Bed is confortable, staff very friendly but I dislike the IBIS plastic bathroom boxes more and more. Steam problem and when they are getting older they are looking dirty in the corners. IBIS, you need to find a better solution!

Excellent facilities, friendly personnel, very clean rooms. But... the automatic airconditioning (which you cannot switch off) is making this background noise, so that you need earplugs in some of the rooms. There is a shopping mall and a cinema just in front of your doorstep. Some cafes and restaurants for a nice drink/meal.

the hotel is nice close to the super mark and restaurants, the room is big enough , very clean , and calm to rest for night, if you wanna come to echz you should book this hotel for few days before coming, unless you 'll find youself in trouble to find another better hotel

The hotel is located close to the shopping mall and the railway station. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are new. The breakfast has been improved during the last year and now they offer vegetables and omelette as well.

We stopped at this Hotel while attending a concert at the nearby Rockhall, it full filled all our needs, it was clean and functional. However the cost of the underground carpark at 1.50 Euro an hour, 24 Euros in total, was a hard pill to swallow when i was expecting it to be free, this was half the cost of the hotel room!!!

A really nice hotel when we eventually found it. It would pay to download directions before leaving home. The staff were nice and friendly and some spoke good english. Secure parking locally [payable but cheap for overnight].Great Italian restaurant in the plaza below the hotel. comfortable and clean.Good breakfast although a little expensive but no limit to the amount you can eat. rooms clean and beds comfy. would use this hotel again if I was in that area again

This is my 2nd recent business trip to Luxembourg and i was happy to book the same hotel. It is a new build, very clean, basic, yet functional. It is in a great location for my business activities. WiFi is available and some english channels on TV. If driving you should park under the shopping centre over the road (very clean and secure) you may get a ticket if you park on street.

Spotless room and good service from the hotel staff. Breakfast was also good. There are restaurants nearby and secure parking, which of course you pay for. Good value for money, but the hotel is located out of town.

A good clean budget hotel. Located within a new "out of town" shopping district and excellent for a business trip to the region. The rooms are small, clean, and have all essentials you require. Be careful if driving to the hotel as signage becomes very difficult (or non existant) as you enter the new development. Parking directly outside the hotel is prohibited however there is an excellent car park under the shopping centre directly opposite the hotel (charges apply) - but you need to ask where it is !!

Very good value at this hotel. Attended a Festival in nearby Schifflange and travelled daily by train. All day ticket was 4 euro or you can buy week ticket for 16 Euro. Trains are excellent and very punctual (Every 15 min.) Luxembourg City is only 20 mins away by train Never took breakfast but at 14 Euro was over our budget. Lovely cafes, restaurants, bars and shopping mall are adjacent to hotel. Also nearby is the former steelworks which are being renovated and looks a wonderful prospect as a tourist attraction to visit when complete. Stayed at this hotel last October and the changes in this area are remarkable. New University is being constructed and will be finished in September. Really is a new town being built around the old steelworks and well worth a visit. Took a day trip to Remich, on the Moselle River, which was only 40 mins by car. Spent 3 hours on river boat cruise and paid 13 Euros. Meals are also served on board if required. Weather was 30 degrees every day and made the week long stay very enjoyable.

It's a middle-of-the-road Ibis. Nothing spectacular but not very expensive either. People were nice, rooms were clean, but it's all very spartan and not suitable for business travel where you may need to work in the room. Take note: there is no WiFi in the room. There is only wired Internet. Bring that Ethernet dongle if you don't have an Ethernet connector on your laptop!

I've stayed here many times over the last 18 months - its location is directly opposite a modern shopping mall, with the whole complex having been a regeneration project for an old steel works - some of the huge industrial buildings remain as a kind of urban sculpture. The hotel is actually quite small, I'd recommend booking as early as you can. The last two times I've stayed the hotel was fully booked with coach parties of tourists from Asia. This has meant an absolute bun-fight in the breakfast room, and deciding it was easier just to head into the mall to grab breakfast instead. Not massively easy to find by car... and if you are driving, be aware that the parking is actually in the shopping mall (chargeable), so there's a bit of a walk to reach the hotel. All in all, if you're heading to Luxembourg for a night or two but are not doing business in the city, this is a good option.

Hotel was conveniently located close to the train station. Room was small, but very clean and modern. Bed was very comfortable. European hotels typically do not provide wash cloths, but Ibis provided only bath towels, no hand towels. Would have been nice to have a coffee maker or electric kettle in the room. The lighting in the bathroom was fantastic.

The hotel was perfectly positioned for concert goers, directly across the road from the Rockhal. The room was modern, compact but adequate. The bathroom was a shower pod. No tea and coffee facilities were provided, and the hairdryer was pretty useless. Towels was a major issue. No handtowels, no face cloths, just 2 bath (not sheet size) towels for a double room. Breakfast was expensive, but there was a fabulous supermarket in the mall across the road, and you could buy all you needed for a fraction of the price. The hotel advertises 24 hour food, beverages and bar in all of it's literature. However, we got back at 1.10am after a concert, having waited out to meet the band, and the bar tender would not serve anyone. If you've been singing at the barrier all night, it's thirsty work. There was some construction work locally, which got pretty noisy. All said, I would stay there again, if only for the proximity to the rock venue

Location location location (when attending concert in the Rockhall) ! Just great to leave afterwards and not having to take the car. Plenty of parking space across the road, shopping & restaurants nearby.

A loud sound like water trickling and surging through pipes came through the ventilation system at 1 in the morning. The bartender was the only person on duty, and he could only say that the night clerk was "looking into it." This is a newly built hotel, and otherwise good (well, the food in the bar was serviceable but not great), but don't count on the ONE THING a hotel should deliver--a night's sleep. No acknowledgment of the problem the next morning by the staff, or any effort to make good on this (vs United Airlines, who could not get the lights off in the cabin for sleeping, and make up for it with a $100 travel, voucher.
