Next geneva, but because of tram work very hard to to reach. Rooms are stuffy, ventilation is not working properly. Good breakfast and skillful staff helps though. Large parking spot at the back yard, many ethnic restaurants nearby.
A great hotel for those who do not want to overpay themselves in Geneva. In close proximity to the supermarket Monoprikh and several restaurants. You can walk to the Geneva tram or go by bus 61 directly to the city from the hotel. Nice staff. Comfortable beds. Breakfast is acceptable for a budget hotel. There is a public computer with the ability to print, for example, a boarding pass. Highly recommend. On occasion, I will stop again.
Really enjoyed. Good breakfast and nice room. Location close to Geneva border. Clean and friendly service. Good facilities nearby. Would go back next time in Geneva probably. Weather was very wet though
Hotel is nice and staff is kind but this was for the first time in my life when I faced theft of money in the hotel. During the breafkast somebody entered my room and stole the money from my wallet. Hotel management denied this fact but I am 100% sure without any doubt.
Good hotel free parking comforatable bedroom for 4 of us. But the bf is les variety. Staff not good in english sometime. Good kids corner with free coffe and tea. Wifi is unstable and very slow especially in room
We chose Ibis Styles as an cost effective alternative to staying in downtown Geneva. Yes, the price was excellent. However, this area is only serviced by a half hour bus trip ( bus no. 61). The trams stop at the border. The hotel is located within walking distance of Annemasse (France) where you can find some nice local restaurants. The rooms are spacious enough for a couple, while the other facilities within the room are reasonable. However, surprisingly, there is no refrigerator. Tea and coffee is available downstairs in the main lobby seating area. Breakfast is good with plenty of food, although there is no hot food. The usual treats include tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, juice, water, bread, and pastries. You won't go hungry. The internet is very unreliable and in fact eventually became unusable. This is disappointing as uploading our travel photos and keeping our family up to date was not possible. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful and did whatever they could and the check in and out process had no problems. This hotel is not a bad alternative to the more expensive types closer to Geneva, but without a car, bus travel can be long, bumpy, and expensive (€4.60 for a two hour ticket).
I did not yet got my Accor card so I could'nt increment my points for this stay; Please send me as quick as possible my member card , and it would be nice if you could credit my points for the stay at Annemasse.
Recently stayed overnight at the Ibis Styles Annemasse en-route to Calais after a trip to Italy. The hotel was of a good standard as expected with Ibis hotels and nicely located just off the autoroute. Room was of a good standard and very comfy bed, also the buffet breakfast was very good. All in all a good hotel in a good location would recommend the hotel and would stay here again.
Good hotel with easy bus route into the city centre. Breakfast ok but very limited choice with regard to dinner options particularly with the children. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and the desk staff very helpful. Car was in a good secure car park. Would use again.
When I booked this hotel I did it by looking on the distance to my goal. Nevertheless, it was not only 5 km away, but seems to be very far away as the traffic to Geneva is crucial. Unfortunately I had a room on the street side and it was horrible loud when opening the window. So, if you like to sleep with open window, it is not good. The room itself was small but modern and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast, as mostly in France, was very "petit". To conclude, good if you have a bit time to go to Geneva, the surrounding not very nice, the room itself ok.
The surrounding streets are not well sign posted for night reading so after an hour driving around as I had taken the wrong turn in the beginning I finally found the hotel. It was nice to welcomed by such friendly staff. The room was adequate and as I was allocated a handcap room reasonably spacious. Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice. Private parking at the entrace of the hotel was very conveient.
The rooms have been redone in this hotel. It was fine, a stopover on our visit to Switzerland. Breakfast was a typical ibis far but the service was better. Internet worked OK but slow. Beds were good and extra pillows.
Good size room - comfortable bed but the place is really looking run down which is not what you want to see with an Accor Hotel. The sheets and a burnt hole in it. The curtains were dirty, the carpet in the common area by the elevator on the 1st floor has bleach stains. The tiles in the bathroom were chipped and the porcelain in the sink was cracked. A little maintenance would go a long way.
Place to sleep with a good breakfast with a wide selection, Great for families wanting a place to sleep and move on in the morning. Parking is very limited, and tight. Great of you have a Smart car. Albeit, one night there was a bus taking ~10 places on the far wall, so guest parking was nil. Albeit, there is overnight street parking, just make sure your car has an alarm, and void of visible personal affairs. Yes, I would stay there. The staff was very cooperative and friendly.
I booked a ``suite'' for 4 people, the reservation specified that a suite includes a double bed and two single beds. Instead we got a standard double room, in which the only sofa had been arranged into a makeshift additional bed. It seems that no larger rooms or suites exist at this hotel, so when they sell such things over the web they are deliberately misrepresenting the rooms. I argued about this with some guy at the reception who at first refused to give me his name, and later claimed that he was the manager. He was very obnoxious and rude. - We also found that the bathtub in our room as dirty.
Poor service. Receptionist refused to replenish coffee in reception area although just arrived following long journey. She claimed they had run out! Rooms poorly maintained. Walking distance to Annemasse.
Good location. Just 10 minutes from Geneva city center. Value for money. Good and nice rooms, not very big but quiet comfortable. Very comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Not enough parking places, so we needed to park outside of the hotel area when we arrived late.
Rooms ok. Clean and tidy. No shower curtain which made bathroom floor all wet. Breakfast room in basement. Warm, smoky and messy. Lots of uncleaned tables and no staff tidying up after leaving guests. Lack of food, plates and cups.
This hotel was perfectly satisfactory except for the receptionist. Firstly she denied we had a booking, despite our written confirmation, then she said it wasn't on her system because we had booked it through booking.com (which we hadn't; we had booked directly with Accor hotels, as the confirmation showed) then when she did eventually find it there was no hint of an apology. She had a complete lack of customer skills and spent much of her time outside the hotel smoking. I'm astonished she got the job in the first place.
Overall the hotel is good value if staying around Geneva. The compromise from staying in the centre of Geneva is, If traveling from the Station be aware the taxi fare will be around 60Chf as it's 10km for the city centre. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The public areas are looking tired. The Breakfast provided was extensive and there is food available to be meet most peoples requirements. There is a town centre in Annnaneese that has good places to eat and shopping options.
